If by "war president" you mean someone who used his daddy's influence to avoid combat, and therefore has no qualms about starting a war based on lies, since he wouldn't know what it's really like...

Riiiight...Bush is the "real man" even though he avoided Vietnam, as opposed to Kerry, who won 5 medals in Vietnam and still has shrapnel in his leg. The idea that Bush is more of a "real man" than Kerry is insulting to everyone who has ever served honorably in war.

Oh and consider this: you can't bomb terrorists into submission because they are covert by nature. Terrorism knows now geopolitical boundaries; there are terrorists everywhere, including the US. You can't get rid of all of them with bombs because many of them live among civillians. The collateral damage (civillian casualties) would be absolutely unacceptable. The "War on Terror" cannot be fought in terms of a literal "war." It must be fought through enforcement, with watchful eyes and sound intelligence and judgement. The government should be training police, airport security, etc., not bombing countries that had nothing to do with 9/11.

I don't like Bush. Mainly because I don't like the direction he's taking our country. Also to me it seems like there are a lot of lies behind his eyes. He's probably got his daddy sitting behind him making all his decisions for him. If bush stays in office he'll probably start leaning towards world domination. Soon we'll be chanting "Heil Bush" with a fully automatic weapon in one hand and the christian bible in the other. And we'll all follow like sheep while the whole world turns their backs on us and launch their missiles. I think we need to get some views from people outside of the US. As long as they have enough knowledge on the subject, I would like to know what they think.

I am not an American, but I'd say if you love America you shouldn't vote for Bush. Why? Because he is taking down America at rapid speed. And he'll take the whole western world down with it.

Why are all the Bush supporters in this thread morons? The only argument against Kerry so far is that he is a fag. That's weak to resort to name calling as a way to prove Bush is the better man. I can string together a bunch of insults in a sentence about Bush and it doesn't prove a fucking thing.

As for the people that say the US needs a war President would you be thinking that same thing if the battle was right outside your door? It's fine and dandy when the war is being faught far from home and your not dodging the bullets. Voting for people like Bush is like shooting yourself in the head. The world is growing to hate America and even tho the US is the most powerful nation at the moment. It's probably best not to piss the rest of the world off. That's what Bush is doing...he is creating a rift between the US and the rest of the world. The more people the US attacks the more likely it is to get attacked. Once everyone gets sick of the US imposing its will and ideals all over the world there could be a lot of crap hittin the fan. I live in the US now (orginally from Canada)...and honestly the US is a great place. The average Joe/Jane is a good person and I would hate to see anything happen to this great country because of a bad president.

Also I'd like to point out that Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attack, and that the person behind the attacks is rarely talked about anymore by the president. Not to mention there were no weapons of mass destruction every found in Iraq, and if there were I think they would have been used to repel the US invasion? I dunno but if my house was being broken into by a rober I wouldn't use a butter knife to scare him off. I'd use something a little more dangerous.

Terrorism can not be defeated by military might. Terrorists don't fight by the same rules.

Bush is afraid of Bin Laden but Kerry would do the job,just kidding. I just wish all Americans the best luck possible because hurricanes are ripping it up and terrorist are blowing it up.

I don't know much about American politics. As you may know, Ireland remained a nuetral country during the recent events in Iraq. But the recent events in Iraq, caused thousands of people to lose their lives. This isn't a Mortal Kombat game, and those people are gone for good. whoever is elected president, I hope they do a better job.
