Ah. I'll put my chips on dark lips, no lines. Won't be too fussed, either way.

- Angel Could Return As One Of The Four Horsemen In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’
But since Ben Foster appeared as Angel in “X-Men: Last Stand,” set during the modern day, does that rule him out of the ’80s-set “Apocalypse”?
Not quite, says writer Simon Kinberg.
When I spoke with Kinberg at San Diego Comic-Con, he first made clear that they haven’t announced who the Four Horsemen will be, but he did explain how the implications of “Days of Future Past” open up the possibilities for the roster.
“I would say in terms of making any character decisions on ‘Apocalypse’ is, we set back the clock on ‘Days of Future Past,’ so a lot could have changed from that point in 1973 forward, meaning people could have been born earlier,” Kinberg said. “The whole world changed after those events. Things that were represented even ‘X1′ and ‘X2′ and ‘X3′ wouldn’t have happened in quite the same way.”
Sounds soul crushingly sloppy/stupid - but these are the times we're living in.

- James McAvoy Will Probably Be Bald In The New 'X-Men' Movie
There's very little that James McAvoy is at liberty to divulge about the next installment of "X-Men," but he did offer one interesting little factoid in a HuffPost Live interview on Wednesday.
"I'll be older in this one," McAvoy, who plays Professor Charles Xavier in the "X-Men" franchise, told host Alyona Minkovski. "[And] I think I'm losing my hair finally. And, yeah, that's kind of all I know."
Get hyped, stinkin' muties! McAvoy open to goin' full nude nut!

- Bryan Singer Set To Helm ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’
EXCLUSIVE: Fox has just closed a deal with Bryan Singer to direct X-Men: Apocalypse, the next installment of its billion-dollar Marvel mutants franchise. This will be Singer’s fourth installment as director; he hatched the franchise with the first two films for Fox, and came back to direct this year’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past. That latter film, which meshed the original trilogy cast with the one from X-Men: First Class, grossed $746 million worldwide, the most of any of the films. Singer’s participation in the new film had been rumored, but his deal is now done.
Accusations resolved. Contract signed. No brainer.

- “X-Men: First Class” Trilogy Will End in “Apocalypse”
At Yahoo!, "X-Men: Days of Future Past" writer Simon Kinberg revealed that the next film, "X:Men: Apocalypse" will conclude the story that began in "X-Men: First Class," officially wrapping up the three films as a trilogy.
"The thrust of [‘Apocalypse’] is really to complete the trilogy we began with 'First Class' – to complete the stories of young Raven, young Hank, younger Charles and Erik," said Kinberg. "And complete this trilogy of four people who began the films in sort of disparate and in different worlds -- even if they knew each other, in the case of Charles and Raven." Kinberg added: "We’ve followed them over what will be the span of decades... So really that’ll be the thrust of that film. There will be familiar characters and new characters that we haven’t seen...ever...but it’ll be the completion of what we began in 'First Class'."
Kinberg also further discussed the "ripples" in the X-Men series' timeline, seen at the conclusion of "Days of Future Past" -- noting that in some cases history has been entirely rewritten from the previous films.
That's kind of a bummer. Doesn't really feel like First Class got its fair run. Maybe Apocalypse will pick up the slack, but it's hard to imagine.

I wouldn't necessarily take it to mean "After Apocalypse, that's the end of these incarnations, these actors, we'll reboot again"...although that's certainly a possibility. It's just as possible he means you should see the three films as a story arc about Xavier, Magneto, Beast, and Mystique as the main characters, and future films will still have McAvoy and Fassbender but be (I hope) more Cyclops's team-centric.
All they mean is that the "arc" started in FIrst Class, focusing on Xavier, Magneto, Mystique and Beast. They will continue to exist, but I assume the next films will just focus on the actual X-Men, likely Cyclops, Jean, Storm and more young mutants, like perhaps Quicksilver.

- Idris Elba wanted for villain role in X-Men: Apocalypse?
X-Men: Apocalypse is on the casting trail, with The Wrap’s Jeff Sneider suggesting that Idris Elba is in the running to play the titular villain.
Making an appearance on the Meet The Movie Press podcast, Sneider claimed that there are three names being considered for the role, teasing the frontrunner by revealing, “we heard him say the word ‘apocalypse’ a lot last year”.
That’s a fairly explicit reference to Elba, whose Pacific Rim line, “today we are cancelling the apocalypse”, went viral on social media last year, with the actor himself repeating the line on demand.
It had previously been reported that Tom Hardy was the first choice to take the part of Apocalypse, but according to Sneider, he is not one of the three names being turned over by Fox.

- Is ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ In Hugh Jackman’s Future?
Well... maybe there is. Jackman appeared on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast this week and opened up about the possibility of showing up in “Apocalypse,” and based on how he answered the question, the outlook seems pretty good.
“I have been speaking to the guys, and I’m not at liberty to tell exactly what’s going on,” he said, “which is largely framing my answer here.”
“But there’s still a lot unknown about that, actually,” he continued. “There are some very exciting things about integrating the whole X-Men world, including the Wolverine movie. There’s some really cool things going on.”

- ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Villain to Mix CG and Practical Effects, Says Oscar Isaac
“It’ll be a mix,” Isaac, who joined the Fox sequel in November, tells Yahoo! Movies. “I haven’t had a script so I haven’t had a chance to look through the script and see what the exact requirements are, but I think it’ll be a mixture of physical, aided with some robotic technology.”
Although he’s busy promoting his next film Ex Machina, the actor noted he’s already in the process of getting into Apocalypse’s head, literally.
“After we finish here I’m heading to do a head cast, which they do often,” he said. “You spend three to four hours with them putting plaster all over your head and they get a sense of what your face is like and what shape your head is, so they can start figuring out the costume and the make up and all that stuff, which is pretty fun.”

- 'X-Men: Apocalypse' casts 'Game of Thrones' actress as Jean Grey, plus a new Cyclops and Storm
Next year’s X-Men: Apocalypse will feature younger versions of three of the most famous mutant superheroes. Director Bryan Singer just announced via Twitter that Apocalypse will feature three new actors playing Jean Grey, Cyclops, and Storm. The most famous name is Sophie Turner, who plays ever-suffering Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones. Turner will take over the part of uber-telepath Jean Grey, originally played by Famke Janssen. Turner’s Thrones co-star Peter Dinklage played the bad guy in Days of Future Past; this doesn’t necessarily mean that Emilia Clarke will play Psylocke and Rose Leslie will play Siryn in 2018’s X-Men: Excalibur, but I’m starting that rumor just in case.
Apocalypse will also feature a younger version of Cyclops—not to be confused with the younger version of Cyclops that appeared in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, a movie that was wiped from existence after the events of Future Past. The new Cyclops will be played by Tye Sheridan, the tough-faced teen actor who appeared in The Tree of Life and starred in Joe.
Apocalypse will also reintroduce Storm, the weather-controlling mutant previously played by Halle Berry’s Hair. The new Storm is Alexandra Shipp, who’s probably best known for playing Aaliyah in last year’s Lifetime biopic.
- 'X-Men: Apocalypse': Rose Byrne returning as Moira MacTaggert -- Exclusive
Now, EW can exclusively reveal that Apocalypse will feature the return trip for another franchise player: Rose Byrne’s Moira MacTaggert, the CIA agent and Professor X love interest introduced in 2011’s First Class.
“She’s a significant character in the movie,” says Apocalypse writer Simon Kinberg, returning to the franchise after Days of Future Past. “We ended First Class with Charles having wiped portions of her memory of her experience with the X-Men. They are, essentially, strangers to her when she meets them.” Apocalypse is set in the early ’80s, roughly 20 years after First Class, and Kinberg is mum about how she ties into the film. But expect to see further developments in her interaction with Professor Xavier. “It’s certainly a rich relationship that we started to dig into in First Class, and would like to mine more in this one,” teases Kinberg.
Lets just file that under X-Men Origins: Wolverine and throw a match in the drawer and walk away.

What bugs me the most about this installment is the recasts.
Why is Angel as a horseman of Apocalypse stupid? I REALLY want it to happen, Archangel is awesome.
First Class was a reboot, guys. And Wolverine Origins never existed. I want a whole new Rogue, Angel, Psylocke, Sabretooth. It's time to totally forget the original trilogy, guys.

But it wasn't a reboot per-se... its not a new reimagined universe, just a different timeline. Famke is still Jean, James is still Scott, etc etc. There is no reason for the ages to change.
Now.. that Archangel and Warren Worthington III are reimagined as 2 different characters I will buy.
also... Psylocke was never in the movies if you ask me. Chameleon bitch with a single purple streak does not a Psylocke make, no matter what credits say.
By that logic, neither was Warren in the movies, because the Warren we know is a relevant character.
I want Archangel in the movie, and I want it to be Warren Worthington III.
Yes, it was a reboot. Call it whatever you want, right now they feel they can do anything with any characters and rightfully so. Who cares about the original trilogy? It's irrelevant now, why should we cling to it instead of embracing a new interpretation, with possibly more accurate characters?
