- Bryan Singer Announces Jubilee as Latest Addition to "X-Men: Apocalypse"
"I'd officially like to welcome our newest mutant #JubilationLee, #Jubilee @LanaCondor to #XMEN #Apocalypse"
- X-Men Origins: Meet Newcomer Lana Condor Through Her Dance Career and Adoption Story
When Bryan Singer announced the late addition of Lana Condor to X-Men: Apocalypse this week, many fans were left asking, “Who?” The young actress has been tapped for the role of Jubilation Lee, aka Jubilee, a teenage mutant who can (or could, if you’re going by the comics) shoot plasmoid fireworks from her fingers. And this will apparently be her first movie role, according to her otherwise credit-free IMDb page.
Everyone has a backstory, though, especially in the internet age. Condor’s origins on the web go back as far as 1997, when she was adopted as an infant from a Vietnamese orphanage by then Chicago Tribune health and fitness writer Bob Condor. He wrote the story of the adoption, of Lana and her brother, in the Chicago Tribune Magazine that Christmas. The article states her birth name as Tran Dong Lan.
Fast forward a couple decades, and in her teens Lana Condor has become an accomplished dancer, attending the renowned Joffrey Ballet School and Ailey/Performing Arts School and performing with the Los Angeles Ballet. She was also named a California Arts Scholar in theatre for 2014. If you’re curious about her acting experience, well, she played Amber Von Tussle in her high school’s production of “Hairspray” last year (see a photo here) and in 2013 was Leilani in the musical “Legally Blonde.”

- Exclusive: Bryan Singer Confirms Ben Hardy Is Angel In X-Men: Apocalypse
It's official - Bryan Singer has confirmed exclusively to Empire that Angel will be in X-Men: Apocalypse, and that he'll be played by Ben Hardy.
“Ben Hardy is Angel – I shall confirm it for you!” said Singer. “But he’s not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I’ll say...”
And, as if to back that up, this piece of exclusive concept art shows Angel in two guises – with wings furled and then unfurled. And those wings look less like feathers and more like daggers. Might we also be about to meet Archangel?
Looks like fingers won't have to be crossed for long! Another pic in the article with some more words. Check it out.

- Rumor: Bryan Singer's 'X-Men' Universe Will End After 'X-Men: Apocalypse' And Next 'Wolverine' Film
Former Latino Review reporter Umberto Gonzalez is hearing that "X-Men: Apocalypse" will be "the end of the Bryan Singer X-Men universe." Now, there's a couple of ways that could be interpreted. Does that mean it's the end of Singer's fifteen-year involvement with the series that started in 2000? That would make a lot of sense. Does that mean Fox will reboot everything following 'Apocalypse'? That's the bigger question.
Interesting notion. Somewhat contradictory, given the emphasis on the importance of inter-connected multi-movie universes, but like the X-comics themselves for a long time, the movies have turned into a clumsy mess. Right or wrong, you could see a studio trying to take the quick way out.

We can pray that it means they'll sell the rights once the Spider-Man venture pays off.
In related news, Jubilee!

I'm enjoying the color. Wish it was a bit more bold, but I don't really think Singer's got it in him. Those eyes don't see the world of style Vaughn did.

SWEET, JUBILEE, FINALLY!
The long wait has been worthwhile.
We`ve been expecting her in the movies for freakin years.
At least one comic look doesn`t look out of place in real life...

So McAvoy finally nutted up.

A girl that heavily resembled Jubilee was in X-Men 1 in deleted scenes.
Anyway bald James is lookin pretty promising. What can make or break the hype for this movie is what Apocalypse, Archangel and The Horsemen will look like in full makeup. Along with Cyclops, Storm, Jean and Nightcrawler in costume.
Oh and I heard somewhere that Olivia Munn (eh) will be playing Psylocke (yay!)

- First Official Look at Apocalypse, Psylocke and Magneto in "X-Men: Apocalypse"
Can't say I'm loving Apocalypse, but that was to be expected. Almost comic accurate Psylocke is fun, though. As a visual, at least.

I think he looks fine in the magazine cover but the second picture doesn't do it for me. I guess I'm not feeling the weird purple color on him maybe it's the lighting. Or the voice but that can be added in later.
Other than that I won't lie it could be better but It's decent enough. Give him White Blank Eyes, the Apocalips, and a paler skin tone and I think it'd be perfect.
But still:
-Archangel
-Four Horsemen (Which are Xmen converts I'm assuming)
-Jubilee in her yellow coat
-Psylocke in her Leotard
-Mohawk Storm (fuck yes she always looked awesome with the mohawk)
-Moira's back
-Nightcrawler, Cyclops and Jean look good
-I like Magneto's new costume
-Bald Xavier
So I'm enjoying what I see so far.

I'm really digging the Psylocke and Magneto costumes and I'm not even being biased for my crush for Munn. I genuinely love the look of the costume. I just hope her acting can be passable. I know she's not exactly the best thing since sliced bread, but I'm really hoping.
