That's dumb. Employers can look through myspace or facebook for further information too. It's wrong they do it, but it's stupid to smoke, drink, or sling guns as a picture. Not a good look.

Anyways, i just recently turned 18, and i started drinking with friends, when i was like 14 or so. I have no idea if what i did was ilegal, but if it was, i don't give a flying fuck about laws.

I think that if people keep it civilized and under control (unlike myself), there is no problem in drinking at young age (not that i'de let a 13 year old drink though), but if they become depressive/sociopatic maniacs fuelled by alcohol... hmmm, not such a good thing.

I was 18 when I started drinking (legal age for drinking in uk) so I never done underage drinking but I do know some people who have done it and I think it stupid doing it just to get drunk. Getting drunk is only fun when you don't over do it. In other words don't drinking too much.

Hell, here, Freshman to Seniors drink and smoke (pot and/or cigarettes) cuz some do it cuz they think it's cool, some do it cuz they enjoy it (like me) some do it for fun, some do it for whatever, some do it cuz they wanna fit in, many dumb reasons, but they're reasons.

Yes, we're that stupid. No, we don't care. The only thing that bugs me (not that you care anyways) is that you seem to be surprised or mad at our stupidity. In every highschool and junior high over here, drugs are there. Even in the new school which doesn't have Junior or Senior classes, drugs are there.

I'm not saying everybody does it. But enough do it that you shouldn't have to question it, or our intelligence, cause yes, I think we're all dumb.

The way I see it it's a psychological thing. People are tmepted to do things they're not supposed to do. When they CAN do it, it's less exciting and fun. These people drink because they know they shouldn't, therefore by doing it, feel a sense of superirority and that "I'm on top of the world" feeling, without thinking things through. At least that's my opinion

I've only drank when i was with my parents or if I was with family. I don't drink around people I don't think I can trust.

The only reason the drinking age increased in the United States is because the United States government told states that if they don't increase the age for legal drinking that they would stop giving that state money to maintain their highways. The government is all types of fucked up.

Now, your friends are stupid. Not people in general, but your friends. They are irresponsible and wind up losing prom privelages, in prison, and they post pictures of themselves doing illegal things on the internet. I repeat your friends are stupid. Your stupid friends are probably going to get drunk, crash prom, murder some people or do other crimes, post pictures of it on the internet, and wind up in prison. (Okay that may have been to harsh and unrealistic, sorry).

If you drink in moderation in safe environments, it can be a fun time. And that is why I feel people drink, it makes you more social and it can turn a lame situation into one of more fun. People who drink to vomit, black out, or because they're depressed ruin it for everyone around them. You have to understand that drinking is not the horrible thing that you've penned it as. You just have irresponsible examples around you. Now, I completely respect your opinion against drinking (or just underaged drinking), but I wish you could just see the other side. It isn't horrible when you don't have such fuck-ups as friends. When you surround yourself with good people who don't mind to get crunk every once in a while, these kind of intoxications and social events can be some good nights for your memories. Your life shouldn't revolve around being drunk, but I don't see the harm in being a safe, casual drinker.

There's nothing wrong with underage drinking - yeh, its illegal and all that but i would say that at least 90% of people drink before they reach 18. Its just a social thing... while some people take it overboard and get completely smashed and vomit everywhere pretty much on a nightly basis, drinking like once a week and only getting hammered once in a while isn't bad. So long as you do it in a controlled environment with friends you can trust to look after you, it should be fine in my opinion.

Don't drink now, probably never will. I accidently tried it when I was like 6 (the bottle wasn't see through and I thought it was water) and hated it. I don't understand why people do drugs and drink when they're in high school but a lot of my friends do so I'm not gonna say "oh you guys are such bad people!" because those friends are really great people.
