well i don't think FF8 was awesome, which is why I said Legend of Dragoon was genius and my favourite.

Final fantasy 6 great story, great music, great graphic in 1994 of course

King’s field this game is great!! I remember the 1st time I popped in king field for my ps I was so mad... I just wasn’t expecting this...so I turned it off...but 1 day I got bored turn it on, learned how to play. I have been hooked since!!! The mid~evil setting, the magic spells the kool bad guys!! If u sit there in a dark room w/ the sound up high, it seems as if Ur there... The creatures lurking around you can hear them from far away...ur walking around then oops,u fall off a cliff. Or out of no where a demon is shooting arrows at u from a distance....I have jumped so many times...lol the music is perfect it fits the setting perfectly dark-mysterious...riding around in the mine carts is awesome..

The only RPG I've ever liked and still like to this day is Super Mario RPG.

Morrowind 3: the elder scrolls, though im just getting into this one.

The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind is by far the best RPG out there, and about the only one that can fit "Role-Playing" (be who you want, not a shy depressed blonde-haird char.)

But I have a feeling Fable will give it a run for its money :)

Definition of "true" RPG waning, Vagrant Story is my Favourite RPG, Action, Fantasy, story... game to date. *nods*

Essentially a toss up between Final Fantasy 8 (the only main FF game other than X-2 to actually keep my interest), Grandia II (far and away the best battle system ever), and Shining Force (awesomeness personified). Though if we're also counting more unconventional RPGs (i.e. action RPGs and the ilk), Illusion of Gaia for the SNES beats out pretty much all of them except Shining Force. Too bad it's retardedly hard at spots. I'm perpetually stuck in Ankor Wat.

Brilliant cut-scene, looked so powerful in his armour, in all it's slow motion glory and ... Stab, well that wasn't impressive

Dart, Haschel and Rose were my fav characters storyline wise, Dart Albert/Lavitz and Rose were my fav to play as.
