Ares is now confirmed. His helmet is an avatar item which means that he's now going to be confirmed VERY soon.

ROFL. Zod WILL probably be playable because Bane and Catwoman are but he'd get the best response as a DLC character right when Man of Steel comes out. Also, every other avatar item belongs to a playable character and we still need a Wonder Woman villain since Green Lantern has Sinestro and Green Arrow has Deathstroke.

Also, if the chick in the middle of the achievement isn't Circe and is Killer Frost or Black Canary, that's even more confirmation of Ares. Also, when it comes to Wonder Woman villains, Cheetah is too similar to Flash and Genocide is too similar to Bane. Giganta is a background object. That leaves only Ares, Circe and Doctor Cyber. The latter is far too obscure for the first installment and if Mirror Master is in the game and so is Killer Frost... then Captain Cold and Circe aren't going to be in the game.

He may actually have a point this time. Shao Kahn's helmet is available isn't it? Ares is definitely in the game but maybe he's not playable. Perhaps we just got our first look at the boss of Injustice.

I added odds to each character now. I'm pretty sure we'll only get 26-28.

- Martian Manhunter is confirmed to be DLC
- Raven is already in the game. See the trailer
- Gorilla Grodd is a background object but may also be a non playable boss
- Brainiac probably not. He'd be cool for a sequel but there isn't room on the roster. When we take into account who's hinted, Brainiac hasn't been hinted at all so it's safe to say he didn't make the cut.
- Darkseid he has his MK vs DC skin and is a background object so no
- Poison Ivy confirmed to only be a background object. The mystery achievement character is either Black Canary, Circe or Killer Frost
- Doctor Light. He won't be in this for the same reason as Shado. A playable rapist in a T rated game is going to cause an outrage and hurt sales.
- Mister Freeze/Killer Cold. I have no idea who Killer Cold is. Captain Cold is in the comic and Killer Frost may be in the achievement pic (assuming it's not Black canary or Circe) and both right now are far more likely than Mr. Freeze
- Cheetah. She's too similar to Flash just like how Doomsday and Bane are too similar to Bane. Giganta is a background object and Doctor Cyber is too obscure. We already have Ares and if we get a second Wonder Woman villain, it'll be Circe.
