Sub/Scorp fit into DC way more than Freddy fit in MK2011. Them not being child molesters doesn't hurt their case, either.

This is a matter of NRS separating all future projects from being tied to MK's side, more than logicality.
No.

Don't get me wrong I"m a huge MK fan, been playing it forever (i'm 32 so i'm a lifer). But I've also been reading comics forever. They have a huge pool of characters to draw from here and I'd rather see them use the space for DC chars then MK chars.

Well... I have no problems, if both Sub Zero and Scorpion will be secret bosses or secret characters (you have to press a certain button combination to unlock them or whatever). Cameos would also be pretty nice.
And as long as they don't influence the inclusion of my favorite superheroes, yeah. Why not?

With the big uproar a good portion of the community made on here about Kratos and Freddy, I would find it very hypocritical if they would want MK characters in here. Lol Obviously that doesn't apply to everyone, I was fine with guest characters.
But for this game, trying to set itself apart and be its own identity, id prefer they just kept with DC characters, because if MK characters were put in, they wouldn't be represented the same seeing as the game is so different. So id ultimately say no thanks. DC has so many characters as it is, unless you are bringing in another comic book universe such as Marvel(which wouldn't happen lol), I don't see the point.

The mere fact that WB worked out a deal with Marvel to make a lego game, should give everyone hope for an eventual DC vs Marvel game...or not.
Just throwing this out, if system exclusive guests are thrown in, my vote goes to Cole Macgrath from InFAMOUS for PS3. InFAMOUS is a love letter to superhero comics and the T-Rated Macgrath fits nicely with the game's aesthetics.
They've already been talking about how a certain expectation is set when the name Mortal Kombat is mentioned, so I'd be surprised to see a Sub Zero/Scorpion guest appearance.

As much as I love MK9, and it certainly IS my favorite game of all time next to MK2.... I really don't want any MK characters in Injustice.

Fucking this. I've been saying this since the topic was brought up.

I certainly love Mortal Kombat but this game needs its own identity. I want as many DC characters as they can have in the game to be in it. Plus like was said before, they would play different than they would in a regular Mortal Kombat game. In my opinion, the change in gameplay of both Scorpion and Sub-Zero in a game like this would make them radically different characters I would think.
I'm as much an MK Purist as I am a DC Purist. I hated the inclusion of Kratos, but I actually liked Kratos more once I heard Freddy Krueger was DLC, that was just retarded.
I'd prefer if they didn't include anyone outside the DCU, just like how I'd rather they not included anyone from out side of the MKU in MK9.

Yeah but you have to take into account that a lot of the guys here are MK fans before anything else, so when something non-MK contaminates MK it is a much bigger issue than when something non-DC contaminates DC.

That could work!
Doesn't Infamous have a small comic branch with DC?
I know when I got the Collectors edition of Infamous 2, the ocmic inlcuded was by DC.It MAY be possible?
For xbox360 maybe they could get idk, Spawn in there? Yeah diffrent company but idk..they pulled him off for soul calibur 2

I think it would be really cool if they were DLC. I know they want Injustice to be its on entity, but i'm sure if it is out for a while and 5-6 months later the Scorpion/Sub-Zero dlc comes out, it wont be associated too much with Mortal Kombat. Look at Soul Calibur and Tekken. Yoshimitsu is in both games, yet they seem to do fine as their own franchises.

I agree with those saying that Injustice should separate itself from Mortal Kombat as it's own fighter. Blazblue doesn't use guest stars from Guilty Gear and they're both successful as their own standalone games. I can wait for MK2015 to play as Scorpion and Subz.
