There are other characters that have had a similar appearance. Raven normally does not have a skin tone like that and she's not a villain.

This is NRS take on her though. Also most people know her from the Teen Titans cartoon. She was pale there so NRS may have went in that direction. Also depending on how Trigon-y she is she might be a bit more...sinister than what would be expected.

Evil is going to be relative in this game. There will be characters that side with Superman and Batman but none of them will be evil except of course the ones that are already evil.

I'm going to buy the first 7 issues now and read, so I can understand what the fuck is going on. From what everyone is acting like, there's no explanation for why Raven is red. If it's a simple design choice, alluding to her demon heritage, I don't like it. I've always seen Raven as more human, especially when she's in control of herself. If her in-game move-set has her using her demonic powers, I think her skin should change color during battle...

Also, this depiction contrasts sharply with the character seen in the achievement picture. Obviously their skin tones are completely different.

Then again, the screenshot we saw of who appeared to be Raven didn't depict her as she's shown in this comic. We couldn't really see any skin... but I don't think she was red.

Who fuckin' knows what's going on with her at this point. She's my favorite comic book character of all time... I just wish they'd stop jerking me off and give me some real information!

Actually while the screenshot picture of her was pretty small. You could still see a bit of her skin (arm and thigh) And it looked pale/blueish just like in that achievement picture. But the costume pretty much matches. Not sure why her skin is Red in the comic...

I actually thought her thigh in the screenshot of her was blue fabric. Perhaps that is her skin. I'd prefer her skin to be the pale/blue-ish-gray like in the animated series rather than red. Rather it just be normal colored, but whatever...

I think her skin is just red in the comic, because I remember her being pale in that magazine screen. I wouldn't dwell on it though, we'll probably see her in action soon now that she's revealed in the comics.

Probably because they weren't very many hints for her. Just foreign magazine scans and now the leaked achievement list. They could've intended for her to be one of the surprises in the game.
