I don't think her New 52 outfit is bad. If she lost the part that covers the face and the claws on the boots and gloves, it'd look pretty good.

It helps when there isn't a mass of mmorpg games or rpg games with a level system on consoles in the United States. Shooters now days implanted that feature in games, the Call of Duty franchise has been doing it for years. The Halo series has been doing it. Gears of War has been doing it. I think Crysis 3 and Battlefield 3 does it, but I don't remember. See what I'm saying?
The origin of leveling in rpg games will be forgotten because of shooters. Being how the Call of Duty and Gears of War games are so recent, even I forgot.
Oh yeah, and Borderlands, which mixes both rpg and fps genre.

Personally I think the gray skin tone fits her better since she is all about darkness and I think it makes her look way more unique.

The stage they're on in that picture, we've already seen in gameplay a LOT. It's the one from the Batman vs. Bane Arena fight, see the big ol' sun back there? Raven and Lex are not background NPCs in that stage.

The magazine picture's probably a story mode cutscene.
