I've already explained why she was a good choice to be included. Primarily my response to Vash's first post. Batgirl doesn't NEED to have her presence in this game justified because she's Batgirl. People can try to make it seem like she's unpopular or unoriginal but the truth is they'd prefer an even more obscure and unpopular characters themselves. Hence my original comment being "it's not too many bat-family characters, just not the ones that they want". Which is fair. You like who you like. But saying she was a bad choice because she has thematic similarities to an existing character but wanting DLC who has thematic similarities to existing characters destroys your argument.

Now I'll admit she wasn't requested but none of the first four DLC characters with the exception of Lobo were characters that had legions of people demanding their inclusion. Probably because she wasn't the bat-character people wanted.
Just look at peoples reaction to Red Hood. A Robin of which we technically have two, a gunslinger of which we have two as well I think and another bat-family character that we have seven. I mean
And she's hardly filler. Bane and Killer Frost and all the other mooks are the filler but even then their gameplay justifies their inclusion.

I think it'd be better if he was a full character as well. I mean Grundy is a little plant based but I'm think Swamp Thing would be much more so. Also probably should be a little faster than Grundy even though he is pretty big.

It bothers me that Scorpion is still on the Hero's side....So, we all consider scorpion an anti-hero now... I mean, Catwoman's an anti hero, but you don't see her on the hero's side.

Now that I think about it Scorpion will probably stay on the heroes side. DLC will probably have two villains to take the spots on their side. Unless it's three heroes and a villain and Scorpion is exchanged with the last hero.

Scorpion is closer to a hero than a villain in my book.

She's not an anti-hero in the same way Scorpion is. Scorpion was a decent guy manipulated into becoming a hateful specter hellbent on vengeance. He's pretty much a victim of deception, and when he's been free of that illusion, he's acted in the benefit of good.

Selina is a criminal. She's not a super villain, but she's still a big time criminal.

Writers like Ed Brubaker don't feel the same way.

Everyone on the left side is actively looking to make the world a better place. Scorpion, when not on his vengeance crusade, would side with the heroes. Catwoman isn't leaping into battle to fight for anyone but herself or Holly. She's a low-tier villain, but a high-tier criminal. She's not evil, but she's not a hero. She's not good... she's just "bad".

I don't think Scorpion would actively work to make the world a better place though. Perhaps Catwoman doesn't belong on the hero side but I still don't think Scorpion does either.

Maybe it's too late in the thread to be saying this, but I actually don't have a problem with Batgirl now that Martian Manhunter made the cut. In terms of gameplay, she's everything I wanted out of Batman.

Though if iOS silhouette is any indication, I have a feeling Red Hood is next. Not wild about that, but oh well.

I look at batgirl doing her teleport the same way I look at cyber sub zero when he does the ice parry. With jealousy and laments of how hard I could've destroyed the competition, if only my character of choice had that move.
