What is it with this game and rage-quitters? I swear, one out of every 6 or 7 games i get a rage quit. It's ridiculous.

Anyway, here's my most recent experience with a Doomsday rage-quitter. He literally just held down back for 95% of what ended up being a 15 second match before he quit.

http://youtu.be/XZTDpoq1G2Y

I do like it when they send me messages.

I show you mine. You show me yours.

It sucks I know. I've gone through it plenty. That's why I'll only play LAN on fighting games. I grew tired of infants and lag tactics. So I simply gathered people I know in my local and just play LAN games all day. None rage quit and the connection is flawless every time. Problems solved.

Here was my last Rage Quitting opponent before I left Online Scene:

I got a shit talker recorded on my phone too from first week of injustice. I tried an online game and got him. If i can find a way to upload I'll post it here, ur gonna lol.

Please do. That's the only redeeming factor of a rage-quitter, when they get mad and expose themselves as the idiots they are.

I don't really think it's exclusive to Injustice at all but yea there has been more rage quitting lately against me as well.

I've also noticed that there are some definite record 'nurturers' out there. They have pretty impressive Win/Loss records and yet they seem to reject any challenge from someone with a good record (i have a couple accounts). Which to me means they're farming out easy prey just to feel good about themselves.

Oh, fuck no, it's not exclusive to Injustice by any stretch of the imagination. I'm just saying I've noticed a lot more on this game than other fighters.

I have a video in my youtube channel of a rage-quitter from SF:IV literally screaming at me from the top of his lungs.

I'll admit. I've quit matches before.

Usually when I'm being spammed so bad I can't even reach the other person, can't fight, can't do anything. When every time I go to hit him, there's lag, yet when he hits me, no lag at all.

Usually against Green Lantern grab spammers or Cat Woman spammers mostly.

Don't quit matches. Play and learn how to deal. If you're being spammed, the only way you're going to learn how to get around it is to play it out. If you're being effectively and properly zoned, well then the only way to beat that is to get better, and the best way to get better is to play better players and learn from them. Zoning is a viable and powerful strategy in many fighting games. It's always going to be there and it's just going to get tighter and tighter as players get better at it.

Too many players blame the game or the other player for being "cheap" when they lose. That is the worst attitude you can have and will never make you better. If you're too busy making excuses for yourself, then you're not going to be putting effort into recognizing why you're really losing.

Quitting is just bad sportsmanship.

I agree with this. Some of the spam stuff online can be infuriating depending on connection, as it's much harder to deal with then it would be offline, but even still you should stick it out.

Yea, lag can be frustrating. Spamming, nah. I find it funny when I lose to someone just blindly throwing out the same move. But that generally never happens after I get the timing down for punishing. This happened to me with Deathstroke during some of my first matches, now I find him rather easy to deal with.

If you're gonna leave because of lag, then leave within the first 5 seconds. Not right before you're about to lose.

I find luckily enough that if the lag is SO bad that I actually want to quit, the game ends up desynchronizing the match on it's own. Although really online I stick to 3 or 4 bars for opponent ping. Anything less than that I don't mess with.

A couple times I've had people challenge me though and I've blindly said yes then I see after the fact they have a 1 bar connection to me and those games are usually just boring since nothing lands right.

I remember the other day playing a player who choose lobo, so I picked superman I'm best with, I ate the guy up with a combo and then he just sat in the corner so I heat visioned him since he wasn't doing anything, then he left then sent me a message saying sorry I don't play with spammers, spammer? He just sucked lmao.

People shouldn't use that as a excuse either I've fought my fair share of spammers and people who use their connection to their advantage but I find ways around most everything. Only when the connection is completely laggy and the other player is whopping my ass like their playing locally do I understand something's wrong

OK, so how this all went down. The guy talking shit in the microphone is the guy who was spamming in previous games. After he won he quit. We re-challenged him like several times before he accepted.

Only this time, he wasn't playing. I think he suspected us recording. Anyway, His friend took over. So Chris aka Quario picked Sinestro and spammed him back. We were gonna leave after that but he kept shit talking.

That's where I step in, I'm the Deathstroke/Raven spamming him as he talks shit the entire time.

Now have you this was the first week and my ds and raven were shit to begin with lol, won't lie there.

He even admitted to watching Youtube Strategies. So i figured if I got him mad enough, he would take the controller back and play me. As you hear him say in the video, "My Bane could Take him" which we never got to see thanks to the rage quit.

Oh well...

Apologize for the quality, My phone only records up to 352x288 pixels.

"It's either the spamming fag, or the skill combo pro" LMFAO. What kind of player should be playing the game then if those two are to be excluded. grin

Quitting is bad sportmanship? So is sending a message "raaage quit fag."

Except, I am going to quit when people ARE doing things that are spamming. Perfect example with a Deathstroke player. He and I had a very very very very very competitive first round. The second he knocked out my first health bar down? He kicked me across the zone and proceeded to spam all of his ranged moves. I was playing as shazam. Everything he did stopped me. My teleport. Jumping. Dashing. I couldn't get to him.

That to me is a bad player, someone who wants to win so badly they can't just fight competitively.

Injustice has already brought me way more frusteration than MK did. I'm already addicted tho haha. There are SO many keep-away characters in this game that a lot of people can just hang back and throw shit out all day. 90% of their movement is backdashing. haha But that's just the way this game is. Gotta learn to deal or GTFO.

We should try to do some kind of casual online tourney for this game. I remember a couple fun times for MK with that.

No, a bad player is someone that complains about "spam". I don't condone remarks like "fag" and other slurs, but if you act like a baby, then yea, you're going to get harped on.

I'm telling you right now. If someone is simply blindly throwing the same move at you over and over, then there's no reason you shouldn't be able to get around it.

If you lose, you lose. Stop making excuses to justify it. Accept your loss and think about what you could have done better to win. And I fuckin' guarantee you, there's ALWAYS a metric shit ton of things you could have done better, no matter how good at the game you are.

Superman fly air laser spammer vs. someone without any anti-ariel defense. I haven't seen these granted since the game launched (when the game launched, every Superman did this seemingly.)

Tell me, how does one get out of that position?

How does anti-air help you deal with zoning? Give me a specific character match-up and I'll tell you what to do.

To punish Supes air laser from a distance, you wouldn't use an anti-air move. I'm not really sure what you mean.

A perfect example. Playing as Shazam. I'm on one end of the screen, Superman is on the other. He's constantly jumping in the air, and spamming the laser.

I teleport forward - I get knocked back. I dash forward - I get knocked back. Etc.

Playing MK9 I where I mained Cage I was playing a Scorpionfag and he kept trying to do his Telepunch over and over which just requires a standard block and then any combo you want.

He sent me a rage message after calling me a "Block Spammer". I lol'd

I've also been threatened with murder and rape in that order.
