Also worth noting, you can jump over the eye laser as well. Just wait for the start up frames and then jump in and air dash forward.

Yea, there's all kinds of ways around it.

Every character is predictable to me. Once you know the core mechanics of the game none can out zone you. Adapt and Apply. Simple as that.

Eh, I think a bad player can be someone that resorts to cheap tactics when playing instead of playing competitively. Although someone that doesn't learn the game fundamentals and get taken apart constantly could also be a bad player. Just differently bad.

I think some people just want to get on and play and not have to worry about recognizing attack strings for every character and such. No one is being a baby or anything.

If you quit a match because you're losing, then you're being a baby. That's all there is to it. Even more so if you start acting up afterwards.

I agree about the acting up part. If you lose then take the loss but that's the only point you have.

The first fundamental of any fighting game... any game period... is fucking play. Don't storm off like a PMSing little girl and make excuses for your inability to figure something out. I'd rather play against a ridiculously broken character than play against someone who's going to act like a bitch when they start losing. Those ARE the worst players. They aren't players, they're QUITTERS. They're losers that care only about their win/loss ratio, and they deserve to be laughed at.

Gotta agree with Luca here. If a player is using the same tactics repeatedly and it's working then it's your fault for letting it work. Ya gotta get better. As a Nighwing player, my first several dozen matches with online Deathstrokes pushed me to the brink. But it's illogical to quit out or complain about the "spam." I want to get better at the game. Why would I want to avoid players that I'm having difficulty beating? Tactics don't matter, I want to be able to compete against any/all opposition.

It really just depends on what you want out of the game. If you just want to have casual fun, then don't complain when you lose to people that are looking for wins. If you want to beat those spammers, face them. Eventually you will figure out their lameness and expose it.

Probably because I'm recording it over my phone. Not the best audio quality. I do tend to be animated with my voice, though, when I'm goofing around.

I understand the frustration of some people with this game. Easy characters like Superman, Deathstroke, Aquaman, Batman, Green Lantern, Black Adam are also very good, then you have characters like Shazam, Bane, and Lex which are not only harder to use but also way less effective. Then, there are other characters like Nightwing, Flash, Harley, Joker, and Green Arrow which are not bad by any means but are not as good as top characters and/or require better execution.

That said, you should never quit and make excuses for your loss, like "he was spamming" or "too cheap". You put yourself at disadvantage by playing an inferior character, if you feel like you can't handle a loss, then you shouldn't be playing that character in the first place.

Speaking of Harley. I think she's gonna be a sleeper. I see major potential in her. She's gonna be my third after Nightwing.

I think that's the root of a lot of the frustration. Wanting to play as a character they like but that character just not having the tools to get the job done effectively.

I don't see the point in making a video mocking someone who rage quits either. The disconnect goes on their record (I think) and of course the other person will let the community know the persons gamer tag or whatever. It just seems unnecessary to me.

I've played about 30 some matches today and I haven't had but maybe 2 bad matches with lag.

I think it's merely a power trip to humiliate someone. I find that people spout out racist/homophobic/misogynistic BS as regular gamer culture. Sometimes I can barely watch tournament footage because of the very loud sometimes very vulgar outside color commentary. That's hardly exclusive to rage quitter having a childish outburst.
