I stopped reading your post when I got to the whole, "waaa, he was spamming projectiles and I couldn't figure out how to beat it" part. I'll tell you the same thing I tell all rage-quitters. Grow up. Seriously. Grow. The. Fuck. Up. Get into practice move, learn the weakness of whatever move you are allegedly being "spammed" with and exploit it.
Oh, and I just caught the tail-end of your post. If you think I'm personally attacking you then you are sadly mistaken. I don't know who you are. I don't know if I've ever spoken to you before. As I type this, I don't even know your username. I don't care enough to look. When I speak in this thread, I speak in general about the pissy disposition that most gamers tend to have. That of excuses, and poor sportsmanship. It's why most players can't cope with the competitive nature of fighting games. They take it personally and desperately grab for the first excuse they can find to make themselves feel better. If you are taking this personally, well then you probably are guilty of doing just what I've described.
This is obviously a different scenario. I've done the very same thing, mistaking the other players' cursor for mine and picking the wrong character. I still didn't leave the match, despite having very little knowledge of the character I had accidentally selected. I still played, because I play for fun, not for numbers.
Regardless, leaving in this situation is more excusable, providing you do it in the beginning and not because you start losing.
A rage -quit is when you quit, because you are losing and can't figure out how to beat the opponent's strategy. It is usually followed by desperate and ignorant excuses and justification. Words like "cheap", "stupid", "cheating" and "spam" all come to mind.
There are more important things than playing video games. If something comes up, and you have to leave to go do something. That's perfectly fine. But if you're leaving because you're a salty little bitch and can't handle losing at a fucking video game, regardless of whatever method is being used against you... then grow a fucking pair of balls!
It's fucking simple. I have a 75% win record, and I don't give a shit about it. Early on, I lost to Deathstroke players that abused their guns, but I ALWAYS played it out. Now I have absolutely NO trouble with him. I play for fun and to the satisfaction of developing new strategies and using them. I don't play to pad my win/loss ratio and help raise my self-esteem. I don't care if I lose. If there's something that's beating me. I'll learn to deal with it, and I don't do that by quitting, getting irrationally angry and making excuses for myself.
I've made multiple videos and posts attempting to help players understand how to deal with things that are giving them trouble. I've made videos, at request, using specific characters, showing ways to deal with things like Supes' Eye-Laser spam.

I'm not making excuses,i shouldn't have done it,i was frustrated i finally get a match and it's "one of those matches" raven honestly has one of the most irritating/obnoxious win animations in the game(only beat by catwoman,mander woman and killer frost) i only did it once.I'm not complaining either,he spammed,it happened.But I COULD NOT BLOCK,how was i supposed to get past that tele grab wich has way too much range imho, and the block,it would not work.I'm not about to be cheap and stay back and spam the ground shock attacks,which are pretty much the only zoning Nightwing really has,he's not exactly superman,batman,or even green lantern,when it comes to zoning options.I don't care about my win/loss ratio,because i know i'm not good at the game,i enjoy to play it(not against spammers,but that's off topic).
I honestly don't get how you're calling me a bitch in a few variations(like "salty bitch" for example) and will say that you're not attacking me,you are verbally attacking me,though that may be a matter of opinion and perspective,i guess,i please ask you to refrain yourself from doing so.I mention things like the spamming,cheapness of the other fighter,and how i hate raven's win animation so bad i want to punch my screen(i have anger issues btw,just certain things set me off,i'm odd)i mention these things,not to make excuses for myself but to add more detail to what the situation was like.I do not want to argue,i mentioned it to confess,in a way.I did it once,i'm not doing it again.

I didn't quit because of the win animation,just don't like it.Yeah,i could have sworn i've tried a couple of those things before,but maybe i'm mistaken.Anyway,i don't quit regularly,and won't do so after that one.To be honest,i just want the game to get more balanced b4 hopping back on.
