That's only because it really is quite trivial, my personal opinion. The way some people were making Scorp's belt is if he took viagra or something and it would literally get in the way of the fighting gameplay(which obviously it doesn't)

Same for Liu, in fact his is even smaller then Scorp's. I still say it's boarderline pet peeving in some cases but whatever..lol My opinion is that there's more to this new render other then "just his belt"

I see what you're saying but I don't think it's fronting, I just don't see what the big deal is honestly with his belt or ropes as you pointed out. I think if anything it makes him look better and slightly different then his typical "MK2/MK2 look" I happen to disagree with you on his MK9 look speaking as how he looks nothing like that in the previous MK games(being undead zombie and all) but I suppose as some kind of alternate maybe.... I'm also as you know diehard MK fan, and even admitted I'm not a Kang fan by any means but I'd be lying to myself if I said this didn't look cool for Liu Kang.

Like many a goth chick on MySpace, Liu Kang looks fantastic....from the neck up. Seriously, why mess with his outfit now? The belt is fucking retarded and the wrist armour is gayer than a bag of interior designers.

Still, it's significantly less gay than ZOMGbie Liu.

Am I the only one amused by the fact that so many people are commenting on Liu Kang's fingernails? "Oh, dear, he really needs a manicure." "I think he should apply a dark shade of pink, to bring his nails out in the render!"

Anyway, I'm satisfied with the design. It's Liu Kang, can't really say much else. I'm happier to see the Wu Shi Academy arena than I am him, though.
