He will look better in game yes. But the way they went with him just sucks. I mean in MKSM he had dragon logos on the side, not to mention the Black lacing going around his ankles. The brown rope looks really farmer and by far a bad choice.

We have the Wushi academy back, this time at night, I must say, I love it. Hope all these arenas that have been popping up in character's renders are actually in the game.

I kinda' like the Chambion Belt (if that's what it is). It gives him a nice little new touch, since he looks the same from almost every other MK game (same hair, no shirt, same pants, same headband) except for the forearm guards that changed a little, the new belt and the ropes on his legs...

Looks cool to me. Staying with the classic look.

That stage/arena/background looks terrible... it honestly looked A LOT better in MKDA.... and Liu Kang's belt is a bit gay.

Overall it's still pretty bad ass.

I agree I think the belt is fresh for character that looks the same in every game. The socks in his pants is ridiculous though....

@MINION, I see what you're saying dude, I actually like his newer rope look near his knees as oppose to the same old "exact" look......that he's generally known for. It's classic Liu with a couple of new looking details.

I love the details on his fingernails, fingers and muscles. Look great especially.

I like it how it's not "so out" I kind of liked that though since MK2+, I thought for that particular character it fitted him well but everyone has their preference when it comes to style

They're just stating their opinion, it's not really "pet peeving." Don't mean to sound like an ass here, but whenever someone says they don't like something about the design, you have to back MK up, or say that it's no big deal.

btw, I like the design and have no problem with the belt, but I don't mind when someoen says they don't like something about the design.

I love it. Its a dark more sleek look for Liu Kang; I like the belt, its a tiny bit showy in ways, but its awesome. It's almost like Liu is going to go out and say, "I'm the champ, just look at my belt AND i gonna whip yo' butt!!!" ah haha!!! Liu kind of deserves it. I absolutly love the roped boots. Its minor, but I think its a nice change from the black tabi shoes he wore a lot in the past; it gives him sort of a rugged outside warrior look. And I do love the rugged outside warrior look.

I can't wait to see him in action.
