Sinestro looks great. Unfortunately, in a fight Superman takes it. Hawkgirl looks okay, the helm might be a bit big. Voted for Green Arrow in that one.

it could simply be incomplete. i mean afterall catwoman arrow and death stroke did have reveal videos before 2012 ended.

maybe those 3 were the little taste for whats to come to keep fans hyped?

and dont forget nrs has a darkseid render from mk vs dcu so its a pretty safe bet hes in in some shape or form i highly doubt they would let that render go to waste for someone particulary new like hades or zod or someone

Yeah I voted against Superman, because he's my least favorite hero...not going to lie. Plus I voted for Hawkgirl because she looks bad ass, and my girl Harley didn't make it through the first round. Also I really don't regret voting for Sinestro, he's a very intelligent and crafty individual.

I just want to re-iterate my statement.

I have no problem with those who choose to vote based on popularity or by who would actually logically win.

It's the inconsistency and double standards, basically, being a hypocrite is what annoys me.

SO MANY people were complaining when Joker beat Lex, and blamed it on popularity. Same with Flash over Shazam.

Yet, here we are, Superman vs. Sinestro, and I can bet a lot of those same people are going to be voting Sinestro because they like him more, or just want more gameplay etc. Yet Superman is the obvious winner.

Sometiems I vote on who I like, and sometimes I vote on who I think would win. But you won't see me complaining about it being a popularity contest or however someone chooses to vote. Just don't be a hypocrite. lol

i voted for sinestro for 1 reason and that is because im a die hard gl fan plain and simple

i like superman but i just have to vote against him seeing as he will probably win this whole thing anyway unless if nrs reveals black adam or someone with magic to face him.
i voted for ollie not do to popularity but simply for strategic reasons.

Yup which I why I voted for Sinestro (and Green Arrow). Don't like him but if my vote counts -1 over Superman then 'll take it lol (Im not a real Superman fan so I will always vote against him but I can already tell the end will be Batman vs Superman)

Great reveals! very happy about both characters. I still think Superman can kick Sinestro's ass, should be a fun matchup to watch though.

I voted for Green Arrow against Hawkgirl, since I know more about Green Arrow. Friday we'll be getting gameplay of these 2 new characters so I'm looking forward to that.

I'm guessing Manhunter will be one of the last to be revealed.

I voted for Superman and Hawlgirl but Sinestro and Hawkgirl both look awesome and I can't wait to see more but the big thing here we should be talking about is that it seems that most of the characters that were hinted at in magazines, Twitter or Noob.com are getting confirmed, so far Aquaman, Shazam, Sinestro and Hawkgirl were hinted at and then got confirmed.

My guess is that these characters might also be playable: Captain Cold, Martain Manhunter, Gorilla Grodd, Black Adam, Doomsday, Raven, Blue Beetle,
Ares and Ocean Master which makes a roster of 28 characters plus DLC.

With Giganta, Atom Smasher, The Riddler, The Penguin, Killer Croc, Two-Face, Kilowog, Ch'p, Salaak, Tomar Re, Iolande, Stel, Hippolyta being non-playable characters.

I was thinking the same thing. It's the pose.

A properly used power ring could beat Superman in a fight. He's not so far and above everyone else in the Justice League as people like to think. Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter can equal him too, and Flash is actually the most broken character in DC when the Speed Force is used to its fullest.

Though a Green would have a much easier time of it than the other color Lanterns since they could make Kryptonite.

Sinestro's forehead should be bigger. Also, his eyes aren't supposed to have whites, they should be black and yellow. Otherwise, these two designs look pretty good.

True. And I wasn't saying it's impossible for Sinestro to win, but Superman is still the obvious winner, imo.

That's my point though. People aren't saying "Well, Sinestro would/could win, and likely would, so i'm picking him" like they did for Lex and others. They complained "Joker would never win!!! Such BS favoritism and popularity based picks!". Yet I am seeing a lot of "Have to vote Sinestro, I want more gameplay", and "Have to pick Sinestro, I love him" etc.

It's not about if he could win. IMO, anybody could win against another, if the situation was right. Some more unlikely than others, such as Harley vs Wonder Woman, but it's still possible. Thus, people should be able to vote whoever they want.

And that's ultimately what I was trying to get across. People should vote for whoever they want, be it because they like them or think they would actually win. Who cares? It's just funny that for a fight between Joker and Lex some people complain about popularity votes, yet I can see those same people doing the same thing if their favorite goes up against someone who would be more likely to win.

As far as others beating Supes, yeah, of course they can. And agreed on Flash being the most powerful. I've stated these before, definitely wasn't implying Supes is the obvious winner of the entire universe.

The problem with Superman is that the writers make him as strong as he needs to be, effectively removing any limits he could ever have. If you want a great example of that, watch the Death Battle video of him vs Goku.

That's EVERY character in comics, man. No superhero has an RPG character sheet that gives concrete stats as to how much they can lift, how fast they can fly, and how hard a hit they can take.

In some stories, Superman can push a planet by himself. In another, I've seen him need WW and Martian Manhunter's help to move the moon. In the animated series, he often had to sweat and struggle with catching airplanes and collapsing bridges.

It's more often though that modern age writers DON'T have him strong enough to move a planet. That was specifically what made Superboy Prime more powerful than other Supermen in Infinite Crisis, the fact that he still had "Silver Age" power levels and they didn't, and had been flying around moving planets to rearrange the geography of the universe so that Oa wouldn't be in the center anymore.

At any rate, a Lantern can do anything Superman can do and more. The only difference between them is Supes' ability to take a hit is natural, whereas any time a GL's shield takes an impact, they have to resist it mentally in order to keep the shield up, so they have less durability.
