I agree, lets save the DC vs. Marvel for that thread lol.
Tomorrow man, I have an appointment earlier at 4:30 so I want to make damn sure I'm back in time for Smallville!!!!
I'm even tempted to tape this episode to show my friends until I buy Season 6 later this year once it comes out.

Tommorow's going to be a good one for sure, I can't wait. At least we don't have to wait any more, the build up and the suspense were killing me! LOL!

Yeah, I wonder if it'll be a two or three parter?

Man, it should try to last the whole rest of this season man, and a few episodes into next season, why settle for anything less??

True, I'm sure we won't see the last of the JL knowing Smallville's writers and from what I keep reading about the future of Smallville.

Good, cause it would be wrong to use them for like a few shows than poof, they're gone never to return. I hate when tv shows do that, build something up, then disappoint and fail to deliver.

Lol! Chill dude, we've all been there. just tape it if you can, or get a friend to tape it, tivo, something. Or, just wait for the repeat

Well, I checked the description of the episode since I have Comcast Digital Cable and Impulse is in this, not Flash. So basically, Bart will become Flash later on in his life, just like in the comics.

i guess i'll have to wait until 2:00 AM sunday morning, and watch the re-run of the re-run on the SPACE network here in Canada(i don't know if you guys get that in the states)
doesn't help me with "my name is earl" though

Well, I saw Justice last night. It was a pretty good episode though I wished that it were a two-parter. It was good to finally see Lionel return, and I wonder what they'll do with his character in the future. Impulse was...amusing as was his constant flirting with Chloe. It was cool to see Chloe help out the heroes and all that. Seems like this will be the last episode with Green Arrow in it, but you never know.
Next week's episode looks really weird. I hope it'll be good.

Nah, Arrow will be back. It's kinda hard to have the Justice League with one guy missing. And I like what he said: "Boy Scout located" and Clark says "Boy Scout?" Arrow: "You didn't want to be part of the team, so you didn't get to pick your code name" LOL! that was good.

Yes...well kind of.I mean the team Aquaman, Cyborg and Green Arrow call Bart Impulse...since he couldn't think of a name like GA said lol, GA said to clark at one point after calling him boyscout LOL yeah he doesn't have a nickname yet either so we call him Impulse.
But you called it about Impulse, they do call him that for now.Early comics never mentioned anything about that, but that was also the original Flash I was referring to, the later ones must have said it.I believe there were like 3 or 4 of them.Forgot, I know there were a few and Bart Allen was I believe the last Flash aka impulse aka Kid Flash aka The Flash later on. lol
Just some things to notice if you guys did or not, on the back of Bart's shirt is the Flash icon of that lightning bolt.
Awesome episode btw!!!!
I love the end when Clark is like...I want to be apart of this I really do but not right now....hint, hint lol.
Flash and Superman aka Bart and Clark don't have their official nickname/super hero names yet, the others do however.
I don't think we've nsee the last of the JL.
BTW, did you guys noticed that Green Arrow's got a nice voice changer to make his voice deeper? How sick is that? lol it is a voice changer since I'm familiar with this stuff so I did my own digging plus, if you listen closely after GA saves Clark, GA says to Clark "you hear this weird mechanical sound, then GA say "WHAT I DO BEST" in that deeper voice which sounds really different then his real voice lol.
Surprised batman never did anything like that, he just naturally makes his voice deeper.
BTW, Flash is awesome.I really like the guy that plays him and the way they portray him.
Green Arrow is badass in his own way, Cyborg is cool, Aquaman is funny lol and Clark aka Superman is Clarklike as usual, the boyscout likeness to him.But awesome in his own way.
You know after Smallville's done, I really hope they have a spinoff called Justice League starring all of these guys. It's WB, come on they can afford it lol.Or CW but it still apart of the WB(Well JL and DC and all that)I think that would be awesome personally, they were going to make a spinoff which I recently found out with the actor playing GA as Aquaman but it got canned...so they decided to use him for Green Arrow in Smallville.I really hope they do a spinoff of one of these characters after smallville or have an all out Justice League.Have like 10 members in it, but NOT all at the same time except for big episodes(like season finally or something) and rotate like say one week have Superman, Flash, Green Arrow, Cyborg and Aquaman in it.Another week have Green Lantern, MartianManhuner, Flash and Batman in it.Etc, etc.

I think that a good, live-action version of the Justice League would be a bit too costly, though it'd be nice to see.
I hear that the next episode is supposed to be Labyrinth, the episode that has J'onn J'onzz, a.k.a. Martian Manhunter, in it. For those who haven't seen it, refer to one of my other posts from a few days ago and see the picture.

the spin off is in the works. theres suppose to be another JL episode later in the year giving way for the new show.
smallville will still be there tho. its one of CW's best shows, but w/ an average of 3.1 rating
next episode sounds real good. i wont spoil it, except for the fact that one character is suppose to forget everything he/she learned by the end of the ep.
LAME!!
i hate that O_O
anyway besides the 1st 2 episodes this season has been real good!!

What's wrong with a 3.1 rating?? That's better than most shows get, and I bet that makes Smallville one of CW Network's highest rated shows

yea i did say it was one of CW's best shows, but its will be going into its 7th season and a 3.1 average doesnt make that much cash w/ every one's contracts going up. danadbab Wrote:

to many shows got canned after their 7th season even tho their ratings were better then most of the networks shows.
UPN canned buffy getting over 3.0 ratings each week. they canned enterprise even w/ its top ratings. Charmed was canned by the WB w/ its decent ratings. shows like these and smallville cost a bunch to produce then add the actors contracts. a show like supernatural gets lousy ratings, but will be going into its 3rd season next year. i have no idea why O_o
i guess its the age group of the ratings or something.
whats really sucks is none of us are apart of this "ratings family BS" only half of the US is.
smallville needs to get back up to its 4.0 - 5.0 ratings it had in the past. the 3.1 is scaring me.

There's no way 7th Heaven is doing better than Smallville. As good as the show is, it's getting stale, imo. Same with Charmed, which, btw, is one of my favs. I liked it for the cool supernatural stuff, and the witches are Hot HOt HOT!! LOL!
whats 7th heaven
(jk heard of it but dont watch) that show i think is being canned after this season, but dont quote me on that one.
Veronica mars is also on the verge of being canned
they are only releasing 18 episodes this season. then whats worse about this, the last 2 eps of Vmars ratings were VERY HIGH, (which is why it now may be pick uped for a fourth season) problem is they are putting out 2 new eps in feb then putting the show on a 2 month hiatus for some "dolls" show
then bringing it back for 5 stand alone final episodes. ABC did this to commander in cheif last year, high ratings, long hiatus, switched days, switched time slot ~ made it get canned. makes you wonder.
Charmed producers wanted another season along w/ the 2 older sisters. i think they only brought the triad back because they knew from the middle of the season that the show was being canned. season 8 was good overall.
ok now im babbling
alright lets just hope smallville stays on the air for a few more years and that the CW doesnt screw w/ it.

Hmmm, another show based off the JL?
This I DEFINITELY WANT TO KNOW and what characters do they plan on having in it...also, where did you get your sources? lol nice stuff though man.
Anyway, I read recently in Smallville mag that the producers want at least 2 more years. So, no worries we are getting at LEAST one more year of Smallville after this season is done, perhaps another.
As for the ratings, despite the ups and downs it's still doing well enough to go on and one of the CW's best shows easily(if not the best) one of the best.I mean my honest opinion, the rest of the stuff on CW is crap compared to Smallville. My honest opinion, a few comedies here and there but other then that...nothing.
I agree, ST:Enterprise disappointed a lot of fans with the news of it cancelling but I remember when that competed with Smallville a few years ago.I have a few friends and my father who are huge Star Trek fans, they were pissed to hear it was going to be cancelled. But that was also on UPN9 at the time, not for nothing but I don't believe that channel helped their cause lol.
7th heaven was actually supposed to be canned LAST year, but some how that didn't happen..still that show won't last much longer. It's wayyyyy too dragged out and old news now.
Time for 8th heaven....
joking....
The next episode will also feature *clears throat* someone green, someone good and someone from the JL....any takers?
If the rumors are true from what I've read about it, I didn't check out the site yet.
But dan, I'm really interested to know more about the spinoff concerning the JL dude. Will they bring back the same actors?Let's hope...who's in it?When will it start? What time line does it take place in?Now after smallville or in the future?
Also, is it a definite that the shows got a green light, this spinoff I mean.Thanks.
I can definitely guess who's going to lose their memory next week, it has to be this one character I'm thinking of....unless hhmmmm, if it's someone that's let's just say really cute on the show I'm going to be pissed.

Off Topic Rant (the following is strickly IMO):
Certain shows that have been around for awhile, like 7th Heaven and Veronica Mars (does anyone watch that show?), etc, despite good ratings, should be put to bed in favor of newer shows, that don't have to grasp at straws for story lines, and resort to resurrecting old stories just to make things interesting. I agree Charmed had good ratings, and I was p-oed when it got canned, cause I figured they could do more with the show, but maybe it was time to let it go, cause the stars wanted to go out on top and not go out with things going stale! Similar to Everybody Loves Raymond, good ratings, but the cast and producers felt it was time to move on. Shows like Mars and 7th Heaven, sure they might have good ratings, but nobody watched Veronica Mars and probably still don't so if it gets canned in favor of something, good, and 7th Heaven, which wasn't even suppossed to come back, needs to step aside as well after this season. Shows that are good like Smallville and Supernatural need to find an audience, and it's hard when shows like Veronica Mars and 7th Heaven, stay way past their prime. Older shows need to know when it's time to walk away in favor of something newer and better.

IMO, the best shows on 11 was Smallville, Supernatural and Everybody Loves Raymond.ELR is hands down the best comedy on 11 if you ask me.
Buffy looked pretty good, but I never got into it.Angel was the spinoff of Buffy right?Which show was better?
I see a similar scenario with Smallville>Justice League?? something like this has to happen, according to Dan it will which is why I want him to post more lol.

Yeah, he's a pretty good poster here.
I liked Buffy more, cause, imo, it had the cooler cast, but Angel was good to, and the fact that the characters jumped from show to show was good. I wish they would've had Buffy in the Angel finale, just for fun, and Angel in the Buffy finale. I wonder which, if either show, will make a brief come back as a tv movie?
