You didn't miss much, it was kinda weak, imho! Damn I despise Pete now more than i did before. "Oh it wan't be saying all that, it was the Kryptonite", BULLSHIT! And wtf is up with Clark defending him? Good friend or not, if my "friend" were to talk to me like that, I'd beat his ass! And i really wish they'd get the whole "Kara lost her memory" crap over and done with. Man, it seems this season is the lamest one yet, imho, and it's only a few Eps done, I hope things shape up!

Ok. I just got done watching tonight's episode, which was pretty decent overall. I wouldn't say it was an excellent episode, but it had some interesting elements to it.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
So Pete is back, and he chews kryptonite-laced chewing gum "mmmm...kryptonite..tongue", giving him the power to stretch like Mr. Fantastic. His return was short-lived but pretty good nonetheless. It seems that he still has some feelings for Chloe. Who can blame him? tongue

Speaking about that, Jimmy also still has feelings for Chloe. He's of course the one who gets the picture of Pete rescuing Kara on his cell phone. Other than that, can't say too much for Jimmy.

Chloe is good as usual. It was kind of goofy for her to make reference to the slogan of Stride gum, but there we go with the subliminal messages, lol. She's still uncomfortable about the secret of her powers, and she's in a bit of a jam due to Lex having so much control over things in the Daily Planet right down to monitoring the computer activities. He's likely using this to especially catch Chloe in hopes of finding something out about Clark.

Lana doesn't do much in this episode, and Lois isn't in this one. She tries to warn Kara about Lex, and Kara doesn't trust her and Clark. Going into Kara, I'm a little bit annoyed that the interaction between her and Clark after her memory loss is pretty much nonexistent. It's kind of weird.

Lionel is another character who doesn't do too much, but there's some more interesting stuff with him. Somehow, he found Kara's bracelet and stored it in his vault, not telling Clark about it. Another thing that disappointed me was that Clark and Lionel weren't shown to have the little discussion about Lionel keeping that secret from him. Maybe it has to do with Lionel not wanting Kara to find out her true identity due to her getting chummy with Lex.

Lex is still bent on finding more about Clark, and he's getting closer and closer. Near the very end of the episode, one of his people acquired information in relation to the meteor shower, and the woman was about to mention something after that. I'm sure what that thing is will be revealed in the next episode.

Speaking of the next episode, it looks very interesting, and it seems to be one of those episodes that will lead to wrapping this short season up. So after that episode will be the season finale. Clark looks like he'll be getting into a heap of trouble. I think that if there's going to be a season 8, it'll likely focus on Clark having to deal with Brainiac. What information Brainiac acquired from Dax-Ur, it could be very dangerous.

Yeah, who knows....about the Brainiac thing.

As for next episode, that's easy from the previews we've seen. That "secret" not revealed at the end of this show is Clark no doubtglasses

You're right on the Clowe thing with Lex literally monitoring all the PC's including hers, no doubt trying to find something on Clark or Kara.

I'm not a whole big fan of this Kara amnesia gig, like you said it's bringing distances between her and Clark. Probably my biggest and only complaint of this season thus far really.

Brainiac I still think will perhaps team up with Lex at some point against Clark and the JL, if not this year then next year.

Lois not being in this show meant nothing, so no biggy.

Pete I was a little shocked at the fact that he was still kind of holding a grudge against Clark after 3+ years....and the kryptonite incident was foolish in a way on his part because he knows it can potentially kill Clark.

Lionel overall is a sneak but at the same time has Clark's best interests at heart, but he still here and there does "questionable" things like keeping the bracelet secret...from Clark and Lana or at least Clark

I'm guessing his reasoning was because he's protecting Clark overall from Lex perhaps, only thing I can think of because say if Lex finds that Bracelet, Lionel knows Lex will figure everything out, thus connect Clark to Kara once Lex finds out more about Kara and being as they're cousins and that Lex remembers Clark rescuing him in season on and Kara saving his life in this season opener....he'll figure it out. So, the only reason I can think of is Lionel's reasons were to keep it "from lex" rather then Clark in order to protect Clark and Kara. My only guess...

Man, if not for Kara's memory loss she'd use her brain....Lex no doubt having influence over her is messing up her judgement.

I do wonder though, why is Clark keeping everything from Kara? Another thing I'm not sure of, perhaps he's afraid Jor-El will do something to him again? Or to Kara? Otherwise I'm a little puzzled as to why Clark's being so secretive for now...

Pete overall had good deeds in heart but was a bit misguided I thought with his Plastic Man powers or Elongated Man. They called him "Elastic Man" so Jimmy says after getting the cam shot lol.

Lex using Pete was crazy lol, but loved Pete's motives to kill Lex lol. Anywho, let's hope he pops up again(except for MKgeek tongue)

Anywho, I liked the show 9/10 because the overall story was good and revealed more. Pete popping up again in his fashion with the gum, super powers was cool.smile

If I remember correctly, Clark was thinking about telling Kara, but Lionel and Lana insisted that would be a bad idea. I'm not too crazy about the amnesia thing either, because it's kind of a lousy plot device. I hope she regains her memories soon. I have to wonder how Lex knew the bracelet was locked away in Lionel's vault.

Anyway, I can't wait for next week's episode.

Interesting point, I think it might have something to do with the fact that Lex suspects Lionel is helping Clark and protecting him from Lex since Lionel knows what Lex is capable of with certain knowledge.

Yeah, me too looks good

Tonight's episode is quite interesting. It's episodes like these that are more of the valuable ones, imo. One problem that Smallville has had is with the very soap opera-ish type episodes, especially in season 6 with the Lex/Lana stuff.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
So with this episode, we get an idea of what Veritas is. We get to see Virgil Swann's daughter. We see the guy working for Lionel who used to be a guard in 33.1. Chloe pretty much saves the day due to helping Kara get her memory back. Lana also played her part too, which is actually good. Lex is left in the dark and wants to find answers.

So then we have next week's episode, the season finale: Veritas. I really hope that it won't disappoint. We see Brainiac in it, and I hope we can see MM again, because he hasn't been in many episodes this season.

Yep, great to see Kara get her memory back. Makes me wonder if Jor-El punished her or Zor-El...either way it doesn't matter now and Jor-El did the right thing ultimately.

Lana and Chloe did the good, right thing as did Swan's daughter TRYING to. Sucks, she's dead. At first I thought Lionel had that done but clearly Lex did it as he's holding her amulet necklace that has something to do with "this puzzle" and his old drawing....man he's ruthless and evil, how many people has he had killed this year? lol Glad to see Lana's changing back to her oldschool self, doing good deeds ultimately.

I don't think Smallville suffers that much with the "drama like" shows as all of these primetime shows at some point have that "younger viewer soap opera" gig to it, with Smallville I have no problem with it because it's the first show to show Clark/Supermans GF's, friends and such as portrayed in the comics so personally for me I like it and don't see it as a soap opera but rather "his youth portrayed on the big screen" still, there were a few shows I guess that dwelled a little bit too much on Clark and Lana but then again, that was his H.S. sweetheart.

But anywho, on this show tonight Kara now knows Lex's dark intentions and Clark is starting to realize the Luthor's all together...

10/10 tonight, this show overall was great from start to finish.

Next week, damn sucks to hear that it's the season finale no doubt due to that damn writers strike....lots of shows were short lived.

But my thoughts on next weeks show are this, looks interesting, wonder what this "big" thing can be that's coming. MMH might show up, we know Brainiac does, wonder if the JL will pop up again or perhaps some members and you know Lex will find something big out. He's obsessed wtih finding out this mystery.

I wonder if this will happen:

Darkseid possibly showing up? tries to think of Supermans bigtime enemies besides Lex

Great show last night, not really a perfect "10", more like a 9.5, it was a little touch and go. Wonder what will happen with Lionel and Lex?

Next week's show looks ineresting, and if it truely is the Season finale as you all say, it'll be interesting to see the cliff-hanger. Another Super baddy or perhaps a new member of the JL will show up last minute, or perhaps both?

Maybe both, knowing Smallville I'm sure we'll see more characters next season from both sides. I still give it a 10/10 because of entertainment and plot elementsgrin

Brainiac apparently will have a chat with Kara next week, hmmm interesting.

Nahh, I just judge based on key factors and plot development vs action scenes or particular characters.

Example, the whole Swann thing with his daughter answered lots of questions such as "who killed the other families" which nobody knew before this episode that it was Lionel.

The fact that Lex is getting closer and closer to finding out everything about Clark in this show among some others is another key element and Kara getting her memory back was awesome.

Meh, based on all that, it's still not worth a full "10"

I think it is, considering the other past shows this season and due to the dumb writers strike cutting all shows short. This is no doubt one of the best episodes, then again most "pre-season finale shows" usually are. I still give it a 10glasses

Well, good for you.

Now, moving on, I watched the new episode tonight, and I actually enjoyed it more so than last week's episode:

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Kara "attempts" to teach Clark how to fly, but it seems that he's too much of a pussy to learn; Brainiac returns of course, with an offer for Kara to return to Krypton? WHA? you say, well, tune in and see! The "dynamic duo" so named by Lionel, Lois and Jimmy, find out that Lex was behind the murder of Ms. Swan; Lex "remembers" that he already knew about the group that his father belonged to; Lex gets his hands on the locket from Swan's daughter, than finds out dear old Dad has another one with another key in it; Daddy trys to keep the key from Lex; and perhaps it is or perhaps it isn't the end of Lana. Tune in to find out more!

Ok, on tonights show ok...well it's not the season finale...guess that was a bad rumor lol.

Interesting, very interesting. Brainiac more or less forcing Clark to hand over Kara as she even agreed for Lana's sake....yet at the end, it's too late? wow..I wonder if they'll finally do off lana. Brainiac paralyzing Lana totally yet she's aware of what's going on has to be torture....

LOL@ Kara trying to teach Clark to fly, sorry but I think Jor-El has to be the one to train him/teach him at some point no doubt in my mind.

Lex apparently will KILL Lionel for that other key no doubt in my mind, as we see in the previews....wow, he's officially fucking evil lol. I'm losing track of how many people he's killed in the past 2 seasons.

Clowe nor Clark believe Lionel anymore, but sadly I think he's right about "what's coming"

Why do I have this bad vibe that ....

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
he's referring to Darkseid, not to mention Brainiac flying off with Kara into another Galaxy raises this question. Only other big baddie I can think of is Doomsday and it wouldn't make sense for him to show up now because of storyline reasons, so I'm betting Darkseid or possibly Imperiex, possibly a villian from a parallel universe like say one of the Supergirls, an evil version or something I'm not sure

Lois and Jimmy working together creates that awesome dual vibe of them working together just like in the future that we all know will happen. They're a good team but were off with their hunch, and in fact it's Lex that had Swann's daughter killed as I anticipated last week. glasses

Lex putting the pieces together with his lost memory are nearly complete along with his knowledge and evilness make a nasty combination as he only gets closer and closer to answers he's looking for.

I suspect the following will happen in the future:

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)

-Lex will kill his own father Lionel at some point IF not in the next show.

-Lana MIGHT die but I think will be saved. I think she might be messed up in some way or form should she survive what Brainiac did to her.

-Clowe might wind up having to save Lana's life, say Clark might ask for her help but it might be a trade her life for Lana's situation so not really a win-win but trade a life for anothers survival

-I say Brainiac will some how with Kara's help that he forced her to will find either Darkseid, an Evil supergirl, Imperiex or something else and perhaps mess up Kara as well depending on what he's using her for

-The Justice League will pop up again, just not sure if it'll be THIS season or next along with MMH playing key roles to help Clark out against Brainiac and Lex's evil.

-Clark will learn to fly by either this season's end by going to Jor-El or next season.

Overall, I rate this show a 9/10 tonight. Every week now it gets better and better, a shame we have to wait another 2 and half weekssad at least we get to find out TWO big things that week hehe, news on MK8 and a new Smallville hehe. *waits anxiously*

I was getting tired last night, so I didn't come on to post my thoughts then.

I have to say that I would have been disappointed had this episode been the season finale. It wouldn't have done that good of a job wrapping up the season. The episode itself felt like it went by pretty quickly. This isn't to say that I didn't like the episode. I'm glad that we're getting 5 more episodes for this season, because 15 doesn't really do any justice.

Veritas had a lot of interesting elements in it. I'm glad to see Brainiac again and just how cunning and evil he is. I look forward to where the thing with him and Kara goes. It was pretty goofy with Kara trying to teach Clark how to fly. I think he should have worked from his ability to jump high.

Lois and Jimmy working together was even goofier, because it just seemed kind of strange. But...at least they did something useful, I guess...lol @ the part where they were going undercover and bust in snapping pictures of Lionel like crazy

Speaking of Lionel, his performance really showed just how crazy he was going, which I kind of like. I mean, he was desparately pleading with Clark and Chloe to listen to him, and he even went down on his knees when talking to Chloe. He probably will get killed sooner or later.

I do sort of like the parts with Lex getting flashbacks, because it helps put the pieces of the backstory together. It was interesting that Lionel would take Lex to Smallville for his first time, and that seems to lead to the day that Clark came to Earth.

As for the upcoming threat, it could be more Kryptonians or something else. We'll just have to see where that goes. I'm sure that whether the threat is, it'll be the focus on season 8.

Now..about the females...

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
I think that all of them have attractiveness to them. Kristen Kreuk's eyes are beautiful and she's definitely hot. However, my favorite might actually be Laura Vandervoort. She's a real cute one.
