Rigo Cortes ninjaboy66 on twitter told me that they're not sure if they implement another super move per character.

So please write them on twitter to include at least 2 supermoves per character!

Don't post your thread title in all caps

The super moves are equal to MK's X-Ray moves and Street Fighter's Ultra moves, right? Yeah, it would be cool to see more of them for each character in there. I remember when I got Street Fighter 4 and each character only had 1 Ultra move each. It was kinda boring since the SF games I played before that was SF Alpha 3 and SF Third Strike which have 3 supers for each character.

However, since these super moves are a new concept for NRS and MK only had 1 "super move" per character, then I think it is forgivable if the characters only have 1 each in this game as well. Of course it would be cool if they had more, but if not on release, then it might be a potential DLC later on.

Sorry but 1 is not enough!

They've already finished some of the super moves!

A little variety is necessary, it will get boring...

Was 1 X-ray move enough for MK?

yep was enough, but you also had finishers (fatalities and babalities).

but I get your point.

You got a point too. As I said above, that one Ultra move in SF4 just felt lacking.

True. Some of the initial supers of SF4 were horrible.
I hope, if they add a second one, that you're not forced to choose the super move at the select screen.
I'm a solo player and I like alternating my finishers or super moves grin

I don't have a problem with that.

Would you mind having at least 2?

This is how I look at it.

1 super move- Cool
2 or more super moves- Cool

Either way I'm a happy guy.

Well, it appears that the characters will be getting enhanced versions of their regular moves, at least one super move we can't really speculate anything yet, AND we're forgetting the really in-depth background interaction moves (multiple items on each stage per character - many options). I can only imagine what kind of water background interactions Aquaman will bring to the table and other power characters like Poison Ivy, Black Canary, and Zatanna, that is if they make the roster.

I think just the one. When NRS have to come up with too many of these things more than a few characters end up getting lame stuff.

And a hundred characters. And 10 costumes each. And 3 endings! And if it gets released a day after January 1st, 2013, there'll be hell to pay!

I think with the first NeatherRealm IPO away from Mortal Kombat, you have to expect them not to use Fatalaties or Finishers or anything of the sort, if for not other reason than to set the game aside from their previous work.

I think they learned their lesson about limiting character movesets, though. Was it Deadly Alliance where everyone only had one Fatality, and everyone threw up a storm about it? If they include some nature of charge-up/earned special moves, I think they know that fans will get all twisted up if they don't have at least two.

That being said, they might fall back onto production deadlines, and something like that would probably be the first thing cut. You can hold out hope for a DLC expantion, in that case, and there's a reasonable chance it would be free.

I'd like to see them implement more than one special move per character, but focus on stragegic differences, instead of stylistic ones. Most moves of that sort seem to be the same kind of all-out attack that hits from about anywhere and does basically the same thing, with a different look. It would be much more interesting if they had something like an anti-air super and a close range/long range/ anti-projectile/ etc. each.

But hey, it:s pretty, and Boon's making it, so I'll buy it, and so will everyone else here.

I was hoping this would be similar to Marvel vs Capcom 3. With level 1, 2 and 3 Supers.

Like for example, level 3 Supers would be the cinematic ones we already know. Like Superman's orbit punch. A Level 1 and 2 Supers, could be something like a badass heat vision attack. Or even short time damage/defense buffs.

Yeah this would be awesome. Enhanced attacks are not epic enough...
