I watched a stream of someone playing the leaked game two days ago, so I've already seen the whole story mode.

Is it still on youtube or has it been taken down? Because I am getting rather impatient with this guy. He has yet to upload the rest...

Naw, it was some guy on Twitch.tv, but he made his channel private cause people were giving him a hard time or something, so you can't watch it anymore.

Though the intermissions have their highlights, Joker improvising in the new world looked pretty funny and Epcar was a good choice for a Hamillesque voice.


Raven seems relegated to the Baraka role. Also, since when is she a magician in the comics? Isn't she an empath?

Raven's got several powers. Reading/controlling emotions is actually the one she uses the least. Her main thing is her "soul self", that black and purple energy she throws around that sometimes looks like a giant bird. It can be used to make teleportation portals, or for telekinesis like a Green Lantern construct.

There is a scene in the game where she controls someone else's body, though, which she definitely doesn't have in the comics or cartoon. They could've stuck an NPC like Martian Manhunter in that scene instead.

I watched the first 7 chapters and wasn't really feeling it, but that might be because I'm not that interested in the DC world.

Supes looking good, as well as Aquaman and The Flash. Wonder Woman looks much better in the cutscenes than in the renders and although I'm not a fan of Harley, her alt costume looks sweet and her face looks also better than in the renders. On the other side, Batman's mouth animation irks me (I can't help but stare at his bad looking mouth lol) and I definitely don't like his voice. That combined with his weak costumes and he ends up the biggest disappointment to me ('cause I generally like him). Fortunately he's fun to play, so that saves him from a total disaster as far as I'm concerned.

First 7 chapters and Catwoman had like 7 seconds of screen time. Massive disappointment...

I didn't watch any of those, but if that's the case, yes. I just don't like how he sounds. I know fans get attached to voice actors, so sorry.

Did he VO Batman in MKvsDC too? I don't remember having any issues with Batman's voice in that game.

No, MKvsDCU didn't get any of the regular cartoon VAs. I'm pretty sure Richard Epcar (Raiden and Joker) was the only guy with a familiar resume in the entire cast of that one. 'Course that was the first time an MK game ever had voice actors that weren't just Midway employees or local Chicago amateurs. Baby steps, y'know? They've come a long way.

A lot of people have been disappointed with Kevin Conroy's voice acting. I think people have mentioned as far back as the first time we heard "stay down".

Well I dunno, I haven't really seen any complaining and he sounds the same as always to me.

Epcar has now surpassed DiMaggio as second best Joker VA. And to think he was originally one of the worst.

Pfft. I liked him in vsDCU just fine. He sounds pretty much the same here.
At any rate, I definitely agree that he's 2nd best after Hamill. If Mark is gonna stick to retiring from the character, then Epcar should become the go-to guy for future cartoons and stuff.
