Just finished playing as Batman and Lex, quick review cause I gotta go to work... Batman is very fast, has a broad array of specials. It's pretty easy to combo with him.

I wasn't expecting much from Lex, but his gameplay is really a mix up of fast and medium brute. He's not slow at all! his dash is super quick and that win pose is full of win. His super move causes the blackout in the rooftop stage ala Black Adam's super.. I thought the blackout would have been exclusive to Black Adam but it's not.

Haven't played as Wonderwoman yet but my God this game is so gorgeous on screen, the gameplay is milky smooth. It doesn't look clunky at all as in most youtube videos. If this demo doesn't convince you to buy the game I don't know what will. Sucks now gotta go to work :( will be playing again at night!

I really don't care. A few hours isn't going to hurt. They got the MK9 demo a few weeks early, so PSN users have no right complaining.

You mean Sony got the MK9 demo. Period. Xbox players were left out in the cold (*sob*), and had to wait until retail to get their first sessions in.

Im on PS3 so I will have to wait but im cool with it. In meantime I'll just gonna make a 1/2 run on the treadmill (don't have much going for me since Im not working), few pushups, shower, then for lunch time eat me a sanwhich and watch JLU.....dam I cna't believe I missed out on this show!

For the demo you can't do that. Each battle is in a different location of the same stage.

Well, it certainly is no MK that’s for sure. The gameplay is really stiff and kind of awkward and well...that’s all I can really say I mean the game looks nice but ..well I guess its just not my cup of tea. Good on Netherrealm though, they certainly did do something different.

Nope, just arcade and versus (player 1 and player 2). Arcade is WW, Batman, Lex, and Doomsday.

I agree with Onaga. This certainly is not MK. Im glad they are changing their styles of fighters, buuuuut after playing it, I probably won't be getting this. Especially since I can't play fighters on a Xbox controller to save my life. Hope you guys have fun with this game. I'm gonna go jerk my gerk.

My only gripe is the fact that some of the characters don't ever walk, they just float. Wonder Woman, I'm looking at you.

if you switch fighting styles she walks.

I'm messing with Wonder Woman, atm. She's got a lot of moves and some good mobility.


The gameplay isn't stiff by any stretch of the imagination. You're probably just not used to it.

Alright. I take back what I said. I shouldn't judge a game (a fighting one at that) purely by its demo. Ill get it. Ill try it. We'll see how it works.

I going to fight the urge to play until the game comes out.
