Voice cast seems to confirm DLC really is true

It confirms that Zod, Batgirl and Scorpion are, indeed, the next 3 dlcs.

This is awful, yes, but they are a legit dubbing company as seen here

They voice a ton of other stuff, be it Disney or other movies, or whatever.

Seriously disappointed with NRS tbh, these are some of the most awful DLC choices of all time... I honestly can't see how this could be fake, in ANY way.

Note - And yes, for anyone wondering, these are the brazilian actors that usually voice these characters... Except for Scorpion which hasn't been dubbed before.
And Lobo is voiced by the guy who voices Ares so it's understandeable that he's not there.

I can't give my full frustration-al opinion on this as it hasn't been officially confirmed. But if confirmed, this is the worst DLC lineup from Ed and co and was not worth the season pass, outside Lobo.

Edit* What bothers me most, is in the beginning we were told he "no 2 characters that are the same." When in reality. Scorpion (Deathstroke) Zod (Superman) Green Lantern (Sinestro) either way, it still went beyond that proposal to the games law of character balance.

I will honestly be extremely disappointed if the is the line-up, all those polls were just a slap in the face. Plus I paid for a season pass expecting MMH...

Y'all gon leave Batgirl alone.

I really wanted Batgirl in this game but it's kind of bittersweet considering how completely and totally uninterested I am in the other DLC characters. This CANNOT be the only four characters we're getting. Considering the WHOLE of the DC universe Ed Boon could not be silly enough to think that Scorpion needed to be in this game.

Also Boon has gone from arguably, barely lovable troll to full blown jackass. They really need like four more DLC characters.

The polls definitely mean nothing. DLC characters are most assuredly picked and developed along side the primary roster.

This just isn't true. MM is going to be DLC we all know it. Nobody in the fucking world other than Oracle wanted Batgirl in, so why the fuck would they put her in?

I guess NRS doesn't know how to read polls correctly. That said, I would be happy for Scorpion.

The voice actor who plays Scorpion also plays Captain Cold.

The voice actress who plays Batgirl also plays Black Canary.

To me, the list sounds like place holder characters. Same voice actors, different characters. That way they could possibly cover up the real list which is: Lobo, Martian Manhunter, Captain Cold, and Black Canary.

That list seem WAY more believable.

I like the sound of this list. As captain cold would be suiting for male players of the Ice element just as female players have killer frost.

don't believe this list until things are confirmed, if anything maybe they could just be doing voicework for alternate character skins, like batgirl for batman, and zod for superman. These guys also do voice work for black canary, martian manhunter, and captain cold, so this list could just be boon and co trolling us anyway. Again once things are confirmed then we can freak out but until then I don't trust this list one bit

That would be an awesome list. I want Black Canary and MM! Lobo was a good choice as well and Captain Cold wouldn't be bad. I wouldn't mind Starfire, Red Hood, or Swampthing either though. The moderators should start an official poll on this site for who we want as DLC. The other DLC poll we did was who we thought would be in...

This idea wouldn't be bad either as long as they have other DLC characters. Another one to add to that list could be Hawkman as an alternate for Hawkgirl.

There's nothing to discuss really. Either it's true or it's not. My guess is that we'll know for sure by the middle of May (which is when I think they'll reveal the next character).

It could be that these actors will be voicing different characters but it seems strange to me that NRS would have a Brazilian dub studio in on their gambit. Seems like something got overlooked and the cat is out of the bag.

ALSO WHY ARE PEOPLE ACTING LIKE BATGIRL IS SOME NOBODY!? She's been around forever, is a comic book icon, and has a really successful series out now. Plus she kicked ass on Young Justice. She's not some 3rd rate hero who no one has ever heard of. She's popular and well known. I'd say more people know her than Black Canary.

That said I also wanted Black Canary in the game soooooooooo yeah. Someone should get on both of those and MMH because I wanted him in too XD.

But when you have a DLC poll and MM is the character with the most votes, wouldn't it be logical to have him in? Especially over someone like Batgirl who had nowhere near the amount of demand that MM did. What really bothers me is that they're shafting requested characters for people that very few people actually wanted.

And as Rolex said, people are sick of Batman characters. I know I sure am.
I will never understand why people act as if rumors are true, or will be true, just for preparation instead of thinking logically.

True or not, I really don't bother having Zod or even Scorpion (he's a cool adition and his ending may set up MK VS DC 2 who knows) but Batgirl? Man...another bat character give me a break...

Those polls more than likely, mean absolutely nothing. There's just no way they don't decide the ENTIRE roster early in development. Primary and DLC included.

Also I think you guys need to understand the place some of these characters hold in comics and the DC universe. Batgirl especially Barbara Gorden isn't just another Bagirl character. She like a lot of the other Bat-family characters have branched off and come into their own. She's Oracle. She led the Birds of Prey. She's her own character.

Meaningless or not, the polls show who the people wanted. And it wasn't Batgirl. What was the point of the polls then? To dick with fans? Well mission accomplished NRS.

And I don't care how popular Batgirl is, it doesn't change the fact that more requested characters should've been in over Batgirl.

This is assuming it's even true to begin with. I won't believe it until an official announcement is made confirming these characters.

Nobody is saying anything about Batgirl's importance or lack there of to the DC universe. What we are concerned about is the fact that we already have Batman ... Batgirl would play extremely similar if not identical to him. With what? just a few more acrobatic movements to separate the two? Why do that when the DCU has more unique characters to offer for diversity? It just doesn't make sense. Why would you want three or four characters that play so similar?

Also, I too ask, what was the point of the polls then? If they weren't going to use the results, then why bother?

As I said in another thread, I'll believe this when I see it. Not before.


And for the record, I happen to be a Batgirl fan.

people were complaining about too many bat characters, and now they (maybe) want to add another bat character, but not even one who would play unique like poison ivy, they go with Batgirl lol I don't think they could piss people off more with any other character, she would be the worst choice ever for this game. Not unique gameplay wise, not interesting, bring nothing new to the table, nobody wants her and she ranked bottom on all the dlc polls, where is the logical sense in that? there isn't any which is why it cant be true.......
