I actually the keep them waiting thing might be a better business strategy. I think Skarlet and Kenshi were released before Rain and that's who people really wanted.

Boon touched on the matter in his game informer review. He didn't outright say that there is going to be more than four characters, but stated it's a good possibility.

MMH will be the absolute last dlc character announced. Mark my words. Boon and co. are going to have fun stringing this out as long as possible. Wouldn't surprise me if they put in garbage code to troll the data miners that screwed them over so hard with MK9.

Exactly what I'm thinking. It's not the greatest DLC line-up, but they're still cool characters nonetheless. And while I'm not a fan of cross-over characters, I can totally see them putting Scorpion in Injustice.

I wonder if we'll get a spandex version of his costume.

I don't find it pointless, as I said, I think that Scorpion would be a cool adition to the roster and his ending may even set up MK VS DC 2...

No one is confirmed besides Lobo. We don't know if it's true or not until the 2nd DLC character comes out, or they debunk the rumor.

I think its reasonable to expect Zod as dlc. The Man of Steel comes out in a few months and Zod as dlc would tie in nicely. Plus there was a viral video of zod released not too long ago.

I asked Ed via his twitter. Doubt he'll respond, but hopefully he'll debunk this trash. I'll let you guys know if he responds.

Regardless, hopefully within a couple months when the second DLC is confirmed, we will know for sure.

I doubt he'll give a straight answer. Remember, he loves messing with our heads... he probably views this thread as popcorn worthy. We all know he reads threads here. If anything he's likely to try to toss in another twist to make things even more confusing lol.

After a night of thinking about it, I believe there is more to this than meets the eye, so I'm keeping an open mind. Regardless of the DLC it is what it is.

I watched a video last night of Ed Boon talking about DLC and he openly said that if DLC sold well that there would "probably" be more. I'm thinking that Lobo, Zod, Batgirl and Scorpion is just the first DLC characters that we're getting before the second group (Manhunter, Power Girl, Swamp Thing and Black Canary) comes out.

I would hope they add more! It would suck if left off Injustice with only 4 new characters

So I'm just gonna throw this rumor I've heard out there and take it with a grain of salt, but...

Apparently, some of the DLC is actually that "do a character as a skin for somebody else" stuff they've talked about doing, y'know, like how Human Sektor and Cyrax have different voices and animations from Cyborg Sektor and Cyrax, or how GA's Arrow skin has Stephen Amell's voice.

Zod is apparently a Superman skin, Batgirl is Nightwing, and Scorpion is Batman. There'll also be a Captain Cold skin for Killer Frost.

The actual new characters are supposed to be Lobo, Martian Manhunter, Black Canary, and Atrocitus with the possibility of more characters and skins (i.e. Power Girl) if the first batch sells well.

No idea how the fuck that's supposed to work since the only thing Scorp and Batman have in common is the grappling hook...what, is he gonna throw balls of fire instead of batarangs? What would he hit you with instead of the Batmobile? I dunno, like I said, it's a rumor I heard, I'm not sure I believe it...but the rumor did include talk of gameplay:

Apparently J'onn plays like Superman's punches and kicks with Ares' specials, his character trait is he temporarily becomes intangible and projectiles pass through him like Jade, and his Super is he grabs you by the head and attacks you in your mind similar to the Scarecrow stage transition. Atrocitus is a Grundy-esque grappler with no projectiles and his character trait is an aura that deals damage to opponents who stand too close.

Ugh, Atrocitus would be so friggin' cool. I'm not a grappler man myself, but I would take the time to learn Atrocitus in a HEARTBEAT if he became a DLC character.

Yeah all that actually sounds really cool except for Scorpion.
