DLC was decided WAY before they knew what people wanted. That far into development the ENTIRE roster was most assuredly chosen already. That's the only saving grace for disappointed people, that they've had enough time to work on other characters.

Cass hasn't been Batgirl for years, now. IF this is true (and that's a big "if"), the reason they chose Barbara is because she's the most iconic rendition of the character. Most casual comic readers, game players, and the mass populace is aware of due to her appearance in the 60's series , the horrible Batman and Robin movie, her role in the Batman animated series, as well as Young Justice, and her status as the current Batgirl over at DC Comics. Would it be cool to get Cass/Steph/New 52 Batgirl as alternates? Hell yes. I actually WANT Batgirl to be one of the characters. But I'm taking this whole fiasco with a grain of salt until I hear official confirmation.

We all knew they were going to choose at least one female character. My money was on Black Canary, but I was secretly hoping for Batgirl, Supergirl, or Power Girl...or hell, even Bleez would have been awesome.

They have to choose characters that most people are familiar with. I think we only got Lobo because he was the most wanted DLC character back in MK vs DC. In general, he's not a SUPER well known character.

I personally wish they would put out as many DLC characters as there are characters in the main game. I would pay for every one, regardless of whether their a favorite of mine, because DC has such an expansive universe with a rich history. But this is the first legit DC (only, no MK) fighting game we've gotten since some old fighting game on the SNES. I'm thankful this got made at all...

This. I won't be disappointed, because I know she'll play fun and different than Batman. I'm still very skeptical on this whole thing. I want it not be true, not because it's Batgirl, I want it to be false so people aren't hating on NRS for this. But them not saying anything about it, probably means it's true, and they don't need all that heat on them from thousands of people. The game is still the shit.

I would definately be disappointed if it turns out to be true. Then none of the DLC characters are some I want. At least MK had three good DLC characters.

IGN announced Batgirl on there page moments ago. Nothing new, but seems almost official now. WTF? Sorry, I have no interest in Batgirl at all.

Just because you don't want them doesn't mean that they aren't good. So far Mortal Kombat and Injustice only have one DLC character each that I'm interested in.

I don't get why they would put Gorilla Grodd in the credits and then not include him in the game. Not that I care for Gorilla Grodd that much, but I prefer him over Batgirl. Awful awful awful character choice if it's true.

Because he's the only background character that you interact with and that hits you. Everyone else is just there, Grodd does something. Plus it's cool to see a giant gorilla smash a bunch of small soldiers in slow-mo. It's not too hard to understand, lol

dude, the voice cast leaks, the fact that batgirl was ON LIVE MARKETPLACE, the video showing her on live, the pictures, stop living in denial, be easier to just accept your fate like the rest of us lol

Its bogus, until proven otherwise. It looks photoshopped, and even though there is a video of it in the marketplace, i don't think it would be hard to fake a menu screen with her in it. Also I can't even find this supposed list of voice actors. All the credits I've seen related to the game, either don't specifically list who the voice actors' voice or if they do (like the list on IMDB) don't even list the Batgirl, Zod or Scorpion. Lobo is listed however.

I find it really strange that Batgirl would leakout into the marketplace, not only way before she's even been announced, but also before Lobo, who is the first DLC, is scheduled to hit. It doesn't make sense that the second DLC would mysteriously show up before the first one was released.

Could you honestly image the DLC for Bordlands 2, Hammerlocks Big game Hunt, showing up in the XBL marketplace well before Captain Scarlett's DLC hit? That's basically what we're talking about here.

It's not like this hasn't happened on Xbox before. I've seen DLC come out WAAAAAY before it was supposed to be even announced. It wasn't purchasable, but they sometimes goof and put it out by mistake. I've seen Batgirl on the marketplace, but she's taken down now. A lot of people have seen her over on the Injustice Facebook fanpage. She's gonna be a character, people.

one reason why im so upset is because I feel like they intentionally mislead the fans, when they advertised the season pass they even included a silhouette that looked EXACTLY like manhunters, obviously just to doop manhunter fans into purchasing the season pass, then they deliver garbage characters after they get the money. Very underhanded and slimy thing to do NRS

An I the only one who thought the silhouettes looked like generic shadows? Did people really think that NRS would shape all the characters exactly the same? Come on now.

I am displeased about MM not being apart of this dlc for 2 simple reasons.



His logo, though placeholder. And his Silhouette. So far no other character has gotten both these nods. I hope that Scorpion is a troll bait character and MM replaces him. But if not, then in the words of Farooq "DAMN!"

Other than the logo I would still say it's a generic shadow, but that's just me. Still though, it was grasping at straws to think a silhouette would confirm his place in the game.

I'm no different then any of you. If I've lost out, so have many others who wished for their character/ers to make it. I'd say it's more exhaustion then anything else. But thanks man, for noticing and taking notice.

It does looks A LOT like him though. That plus the power of suggestion lead people to think it's Jonn. I think we now know that perhaps it's Zod.

Im curious, anybody know the source of the full body silhouettes? Were they even supposed to be seen?

They were obviously cropped to look generic in the season pass advert.

They were shown upon announcement of the season pass much like they were with mk9. I had forgotten about them till minion posted that. Baited and switched the manhunter fans hard.
