Why would NRS or WB use Prima Guides again?

Seriously, just saw that Prima Guides will be putting out the official Injustice: Gods Among Us strategy guide. After the full-scale cock up that was the MK guide, why would they do this? Prima didn't even fully fix their numerous errors, and i never got updated cards that were supposed to be issued, even though i contacted the company multiple times. Any thoughts? Which company (if any) actually put out great strategy guides?

The main problem with MK9's guide was that WB didn't give Prima a complete version of the game in time to properly make the thing. It certainly didn't help that the version they did finally give them wasn't even the final build. The whole situation was a disaster, and I don't blame Prima at all for what happened.

prima is crap in general. i remember they stated there was 16 endings in mass effect 3 and look how that turned out seeing as the devs stated such endings existed in the first place wich makes me think prima lied to boost sales

well that and xbox live apparently... you can now buy vids from xbox live to help with specific walkthroughs........ thank god for youtube because anyone who pays 240 msp for video aid deserves to get screwed imo

Same reason why they went back to PDP for their arcade stick, the cheap route!
I would've pre-ordered the battle edition if the stick was made by a company like Hori instead.
You may not blame Prima, Temp, but they also did not follow through on the revisions and reimbursement program that they advertised. There were also multiple instances of poor editing (Character move swaps, doubled pages, etc) That was their responsibility, not WB. Bad business.

I have no idea what you are talking about,

My guide was good mind you I got the collectors edition guide, and they sent me the new players cards all the way to Australia
Glad you got your cards, but i never did, and two of my other buds didn't get them either. And my collectors guide has other errors, as i said. Flipping through it now. Happy you had a good experience, but I'm saying that I and others I know personally or on forums, did not.

What errors do you speak of?
The biggest error would be Liu Kang's combo section being replaced with Kano's combos. Read the inputs below the pics (Up Ball, Knife throw, etc.). There are other smaller errors and typos, but that one is pretty huge.

Yeah I do remember reading about that one, but funnily enough it wasn't in mine which was the collectors edition,

So maybe that problem was limited to the standard edition?

I had the Collectors Eddition and the only errors were fixed when they sent out the new cards

Never got my new cards either. Glad to see some people were reimberssed while other fans didn't even get a "sorry, we're not going to give you anything" response. Waited forever for them, and got absolutely nothing.
Yeah, my edition is the Kollector's Edition, and all those errors are present. I'm looking at them as we type. It seems strange that they would continue to associate themselves with Prima, when there were so many problems with their last pairing. Does BradyGames make better guides? Not too familiar with them.
