Actually, I request a mod to delete this topic. I'm sorry for posting it in the wrong section.

I'll just move it to the right board for you. No need for deletion.

The Kahn's are blessed with autonomy from some elder gods because of their bloodline and sovereignty. Consequently, the gods have historically had wars and controversy with the emperors because the one had intentions to balance positive and negative in Earthrealm.

As a whole, I think they're pretty powerful considering that it ultimately took them to stop Shao Khan. Individually? Maybe as powerful as Raiden and Shinnok. Definitely not more powerful than the One Being..

They are mere toothless worms....

No seriously, the Elder Gods are freaking stupid.
Powerful enough that they can put assholes in their place for milennia if they need to, and their power is great enough that it could wake the one being if they use too much.

They don't demand our undying worship and leave mortals to their own affairs. Those should count as good qualities.

Well Shinnok doesn't seem very impressive.

I like the sound of this. I feel that the elder gods are merely in existence just to keep reality in balance. They don't care for who lives and who dies as long as each realm stays in existence.

Raiden is appointed as the defender of Earthrealm merely to keep the One Being from being awoken. I like that concept but I feel the actual story is one dimensional in that regard. The elder gods it seems had only appointed one God to defend Earthrealm but there are no other gods for the other realms to defend.

Maybe MK11 can elaborate on that?
