At this point, as long as Fujin is in this pack I don't really care about the rest. Li Mei and Sareena would be nice, but I needs my Fujin. But if Fujin DOESN'T make it and Sindel DOES... Expect a salt filled rant.

Why do some silly people try to underrate Queen Sindel by just claiming that if someone doesn't show up and Sindel does It would be ridicolous as hell .You don't need to humiliate one thing to empower the other one .It is nonsense.Just sayin'

Again not knocking Sindel, but Fujin has more requests than Sindel. It's a fact. Sindel getting in over Fujin just says to me they don't care about what majority of fans want. They'd rather just make a quick buck by releasing a character people want to play as simply because they fight her in story mode and this current invasion. Not because they want her, but because she's not available. It also says they'd rather save money by finishing a character they already worked on as opposed to make a character who has no work done and start from scratch.

Well it was sort of surprise with Corrupted Shinnok. That was the surprise they were teasing. But yeah I get what you're saying and it's not unreasonable to assume they'd do something like that again.

Oh god, after the failed hype of the KP2 revealed, if we wait for 2 or 3 months to find out we're getting Baraka, Sindel and Rain I will facepalm myself so hard my nose will shoot out behind my head.

Not that I wouldn't like playing as them, but that would be a terrible reveal.

Rain isn't part of the pack but they could release him separately after the pack in place of the [?] icon I guess. But trust me, the pack is Baraka, Sindel, Fujin and Bo' Rai Cho.

On topic, I actually had way more difficulty with Sindel as the Invasion Boss than I did with any of the other characters. I guess because I wasn't used to fighting her or something (or I'm just making excuses for my suckiness as a player)

I really don't think the silhouettes should be anything to go off of but that's just me. I still believe we're going to be getting a cyborg, NRS knows Bo' Rai Cho will not sell well.

Sindel's chances did go up because of this though imo, ImperatrixSindel made some very good points. It is odd that they released a render with some added changes to the hair. I hope she doesn't make it but that's just me, I guess it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, but like others have said it would be a major hype killer. As long as I get Fujin though, i'm content.

I doubt they'd put Bo'Rai'Cho as a fake silhouette- NRS actually likes him and most fans have really grown to like him over the years, hell, some people were asking for him as DLC in MK9. He's far from being the joke that Hsu Hao or others are. If that was an Hsu Hao silhouette, then I'd see your point. But I don't see them as doing joke silhouette PERIOD, mainly because the only reason why they did it for the select screen back in E3 was because it was the fucking select screen and only what, six of twenty four characters were revealed? And if they did why only use one joke silhouette? Bo'Rai'Cho had a pretty integral role in story mode so I fail to see what would be so laugh out funny about teasing him as DLC if he really wasn't. Hsu Hao, I'd get, Meat I'd get, Bo? Don't get it.


I really don't know why people assume Bo'Rai'Cho will not sell well. They're not going to just drop him without any promotion. A trailer will be released and I'm sure NRS are hard at work trying to make him into a great and appealing fighter. All it really takes is a kick-ass gameplay trailer and you win everyone over. Besides you have several fans who'd get Bo'Rai'Cho simply because he's a 3D era character. And I'm sure a lot of my casual friends would buy Bo in a heart beat simply based on how different he is from the other human characters. I think people really need to get their minds out of 2002.

And remind me why exactly you're labeling people as "3D era fanboys" all because they may want to see one or two characters they haven't seen in a while? Is it really that serious, dividing the MK fanbase like that? Lol, they're all Mortal Kombat characters- grow up.

And yes, we know, Sareena and Fujin debuted in Mythologies which was 2D(along with Quan Chi and Shinnok)- but that was an adventure game, their FIGHTING game debuts were 3D era games and considering Mortal Kombat is a FIGHTING game, I think that's why they're included as 3D era characters. Stop splitting hairs and being a dick.

Personally, I'd be angry if Bo wasn't included in the pack. I mean, sure, they added (or attempted to) comic relief to him. Depending on your sense of humor, that was either good or bad. But if you get by all of that and see the rest of him... It's clear he's a kickass warrior with one of the coolest martial arts styles in Drunken Fist. I would love to see what NRS would do with an update on him. Not only that, but his background is cool too. A denizen of outworld, yet he does not use his superior skill to fight for them. Instead he trains earthrealm warriors to fight against them. At first, I wasn't quite sure how I felt about him. But once I invested some time in learning to use him, he quickly became a favorite. IMO he's one of the coolest characters NRS came up with for the series. Also, I wouldn't mind Sindel being in as well.

I really don't get some of you... A lot of you who are demanding and saying you want Sindel included as DLC, were the ones complaining that MKX was playing it too safe by including mostly Original Trilogy Characters.. So why now are so many people saying they want Sindel and Baraka?!

LET THEM SIT OUT FOR ONE GAME. You atleast got a taste of them as NPC!

For Fcks sake how about Reiko, Havik, Li Mei, Fujin, or KAI?! Why not explain where Kai has been!?

With these characters not set to premier until 2016, theres a good chance they haven't finalized which 4 are going to appear. Don't let NRS get away with just refurbishing the NPCs and peddling them on us. Give us some characters we have been hoping for since the original roster of this game was announced!

Dude chill. We all have our wants and desires. The fact of the matter is it doesn't matter what anyone says right now- those four character are already decided on and are in the process of being developed. So if Sindel or Baraka fans are happy- let them be happy, let them cheer. There's always next game. And I repeat- these four characters are ALREADY in development- Sindel and Baraka being fightable NPCs in story mode means nothing- so was Tanya and look at how incomplete she was. They have to give Sindel & Baraka three unique variations, intros, win poses, two fatalities, X-rays, and brutalities. Best believe that's gonna take some time.

LOL @ some people saying Baraka is not well known among the worldwide fanbase..he's definitely one of the most unique and popular characters. In mk9 he played like shit, they didn't do him justice so that he's not played a lot makes sense.

So now that I've compared her MKX look to her MK9 look, Sindel's costume really has been tweaked enough to the point I think she could get by with it.

New things Sindel has in MKX that she didn't in MK9-

-Neck cover
-Lace/Fishnet arm sleeves(her arms were completely bare in MK9)
-Long black straps that covers the top of her chest(Which was bare in MK9)
-Darker purple vest
-Black gloves
-Her boots are much longer and come down from the thighs along with straps that support them. (In MK9 her boots came from the knees and underneath the straps were bareskin.)

Sindel is actually much more covered up than she was in MK9. These are slight changes but enough to notice.

She's much more updated than Kabal, Stryker and Smoke, that's for sure. The basis is the same but the neck brace and fishnet change her a lot.

If she does make it I hope she will get a What If non revenant costume too.

Yes because the least popular trilogy character would land a spot in Deception, be chosen to kill off several favorites in a single scene in MK9, play a major role in the following game's story mode based off a game she wasn't originally in (MK4) whilst managing to snatch a spot as DLC.

I wouldn't say she had a major role in MKX her role was little bigger then the other non playable revenants I don't understand why people keep saying her, Baraka and rain had such huge roles in the story all they were were additional jobbers to beat up on. None of them did anything noteworthy or story altering and none of them are that popular so none should really be dlc if they make it as dlc it is laziness by NRS as converting these three chumps to playable characters if easier and more cost effective then creating three new ones from
Scratch!

She honestly had a bigger role in the story mode than Kitana or Kung Lao. It was conspicuous, actually.
