Team Fuzzy Emperor over Team Oni.

Voted for Moloch and Drahmin for the simple fact that I have seen them as a team. I have never even acknowledged Kintaro and Shao Kahn as a tag team. Might as well place Goro, Sheeva, or Motaro as Shao Kahn's tag team partner as well.

WTF is with some of these teams? First Kitana doesn't get teamed with Jade, then Shao Kahn and Kintaro get acknowledged as a team. I am not trying to complain about this I just think the mentality behind some of these teams is just bizarre.

Moloch and Drahmin get my vote because they are an actual team.

I feel like Shao and Sindel should've been a team... or at least Shao and Motaro so that Kintaro and Goro could team together, but now I'm guessing that Goro will be with Sheeva...

I'm overthinking this.

I agree Shao Kahn and Sindel would have been a good team.

I go for Shao Khan & Kintaro

(though I like Drahmin a lot but not Moloch)

I vote Moloch and Drahmin because Drahmin is so fuzzy wuzzy.

I'm hoping Noob-Smoke is in this tournament they are my favorite duo.

But on the serious side, I'm going to say Kintaro and Kahn. Nothing will ever beat MKII's progression of young Shang -> Kintaro -> Kahn in MKII for best boss sequence in MK.

I vote kahn&kintaro since they were bosses of THE BEST mk game ever. I can see why they were paired up, aw the nostalgia...

speaking of nostalgia, team noob-smoke, imo, is the reason why we have tag in MK9. So my vote will go to them as a huge thank you. I don't even play regular kombat unless it's KOTH. Tag kombat has won me over completely.

I love Kintaro's fuzzy wuzzy babality in mk9 he's so adorable!! but i voted team Oni. Why? THEY'RE F***ING DEMONS.

Doubt they'll win anyway though, Kahn is too connected to MK's history.

Looks like Goro & Sheeva together then. And if it is Noob & Smoke (please Lucifer, please) then Sub & Frost makes sense. But if Mileena is teamed with Baraka (again makes sense) then who will Jade be partnered with? Skarlet!? Reptile!? Johnny Cage!!??

Alright, so far so good...I did say that Moloch & Drahmin would be a team. For that reason, I voted for them.

I still think Shao Kahn and Skarlet would have been a better alliance. She is one of his most skillfull and deadliest warriors...which is why he only releases her when severity arises.

Granted, my original proposal of putting Kintaro and Motaro didn't make much sense. But I hated both of them so I figured "why not put them together?"

I forsee a ridiculous amount of "I wouldn't have put that team together" posts, and I don't even have to look in to my crystal ball to see that lol. Oh well, that's part of what this is for, I guess. Debate.

I picked the losing team last round, looks like that's continuing in this round as well.

Sadly I do too. It doesn't have to be that way though. Quite a few people have posted countless teams already to put together. Yet we get Shao Kahn and Kintaro when Shao Kahn could have just as easily have been placed with Motaro and it would have made just as much sense. Then we get Sindel and Kitana when Jade is always the one who's had Kitana's back.

Honestly, I think this is a time when the site should just take the suggetions they have been handed and go with those.

The only pairing I can't seem to nail is the Sub-Zero/NOob/Smoke trifecta. I can't decide if Smoke should be put with Sub-Zero or Noob, but my gut tells me he should be placed with Noob Saibot because I don't know who Noob would be teamed with besides Smoke. Whereas Sub-Zero could easily be teamed with Scorpion, Frost, or Sareena and it would be plausible.

Sub-Zero wouldn't be paired with Scorpion though, would he? Noob and Scorpion have a better chance working together since they both worked under Quan Chi in MK2011.

I think Sub-Zero will either be paired with Frost or Smoke, but if they paired him up with Scorpion it wouldn't surprise me.

These teams have been kind of strange. I want Team Shaolin but if we get teams like:

Liu Kang & Raiden
Fujin & Kung Lao

Then I won't mind.
