Hello everyone.

This thread is here to let you know that the Mortal Kombat Boot and Immune game shall be returning in a matter of days. For those of you who know have played before, you know what it's all about. Newcomers will want to know that the game sees nearly all MK characters that have appeared in a mainstream game pitted against one another. The object of the game is to vote to Immune your favourite character(s) in order to keep them in the game. You also place a vote to Boot the characters you hate and want out of the game. Strategy comes into play with this as those who have played previously will know.

Those who you who are registered will not need to register again. Newcomers will need to register to the game. I will be posting a registration thread soon for those newcomers to post within prior to the game. I am sure ~Crow~ will take the lead here in making sure clones are kept out of the game, but the other mods will help out also.

Speaking of which, the games will continue exactly where we left off. Mavado had won the 13th game of the series to join the following in the Championship:

(Listed in the order they won)

Ermac
Cyrax
Quan Chi
Scorpion
Kung Lao
Frost
Raiden
Kitana
Shinnok
Kenshi
Smoke
Nightwolf
Mavado

If a favourite of yours isn't in there, you have 3 games in which to make sure they enter that list. Only 3 spots are left available. We continue where we left off. This will allow us to finish the last series and allow the newcomers to the game to have a small practice period with the last 3 games and the Championship before we go into an all new series.

There are 4 talliers at the present time. I will recruit and remove talliers at my own discretion if need be. Do not contact me about being a tallier. Do not mention that you want to be one. I will contact you if need be.

If anyone has a problem with any of the above, then know now that the above is my final wording on it all. If there are any questions about the game itself, please contact via PM or see me in my irc chnanel.

Erm... Not to be a thorn, but does this really belong in the MKA section? I mean, it doesn't really have anything to do with MKA. At all. I remember asking Crow why it was in the MKD section last time and he pretty much just said "I don't know." I thought "which is your favourite character" threads (which is pretty much what this is, on a larger scale) were supossed to go in the classic section or something? Would it be too forward of me to say that this should at least be moved to the general section?

Well...there is a bit of a loophole. Since MKA features every single characters into one game and the Boot n' Immune does consist having all the characters in the game. Why not? (just a thought)

I dunno. I guess if you look at it like that then all future "what is you favourite character in the MK series" threads can be posted here instead of the classic or general forums too, seeing as how they're all in MKA.

Whatever though. Just always kind of irked me a little bit that it, and it's related threads were being bumped to the top of the boards for discussion of the videogames when it really doesn't have much to do with the games themselves and we already have a forum specifically for these types of threads (general). I guess it's negligible.

I'll take your question because you could say the same about my tournament threads. The reason it CAN be posted is listed above. The reason it WILL be posted here is that this board has so much traffic that the game will be moving along at a rapid pace.

By the way, we need to add Sub-Zero and Rain to that champion list.
