nevertheless, since both raiden and sub zero belong to the good side, why would they fight?
my vote goes to raiden, simply because he is a god, but, i repeat, this fght would be ridiculous, if you want to do a topic like i did, and kingjolly did, with fights between mk characters and mko members voting, please create intelligent matches, between warriors that DO hate each other or are rivals in any way, not characters that fight for the same causes... and again, i really hate you raiden_vs_sub zero, can you kill yourself? it would be great

all sub-zero has to do is freeze him then snap thier neck...thats not in the game because its cheap :P

Instead of being such a noob why don’t you say something worthwhile and meaningful to help the new guys around no matter how stubborn they may seem. Some happen to have more difficulty then others when it comes to understanding the site rules because of different reasons.

Saying you really hate the guy and that you want him to kill himself doesn’t make you any smarter, you come off as ridiculous and immature.

And for your information, this is not placed under the line of what could be an “intelligent” or “stupid” match, specially considering the fact that Rayden is also fighting all those who are good and fight for his same cause. So in theory, Rayden could very well fight Sub-Zero if the Lin Kuei warrior is in some way harming his plans. Just like he fought Fujin, Taven, Shujinko, etc, all who are good guys. And he joined forces with those who are evil, with "good" intentions. Next time think before you post.

As for the topic itself, I don’t think it would be that easy for Rayden. Honestly, the thunder God is extremely powerful, but I can actually picture characters like Sub-Zero, Sonya, Liu Kang and even Sindel putting a very good fight.

Rayden would probably win though, so my vote goes to him.

well, we have to remember one thing:
Raiden must always become mortal, to fight in MK battles. because the law of the elder gods forbids an immortal warrior to fight in the tournament. all the fighters that enter the MK tournaments, are mortal, or became mortal, giving up their immortality, in order to compete in Mortal Kombat. So, when Raiden turns into a mortal being, he retains some of his powers, not all of his power, but some of it. and in hand to hand combat, i don't know what would be stronger, Raiden's lightning or Sub Zero's ice... but i remain with my opinion, Raiden wins.

The only way Raiden can lose this match up is is he's in outworld fighting Subby where Raiden obviously loses his powers making him mortal.

He still has powers such as lightning, teleporting etc as a mortal, he's just not immortal.
