I'm thinking maybe it should be characters that were just in MK2011. We don't even know that Tanya technically exists anymore.

Scorpion and Quan Chi have my vote this time, even though I hope to see both Shinnok and Tanya in the upcoming game.

Actually, I was hoping you had some theory or idea for what could make them team up. Like, perhaps the two of them could work together against the new emperor of Outworld, but Mileena would ultimately betray Kitana and take the throne for herself, and maybe even take over Edenia after having taken down Kitana.

As for the new round, I vote for Tanya. Shinnok is amongst the worst MK characters, imo, but Quan Chi and Scorpion both lie in the bottom with him, and Tanya is one of my favourite characters, so of course she will get my vote. ^^

I could actually see that happening. An uneasy alliance between the two. It wouldn't have worked in the old timeline, but in the new timeline, Kitana doesn't know Mileena very well, if at all, so she might try and see if she can connect with her and maybe even try and persuade her over to her side, like she did in her Arcade ending.
