Wow, that looks fantastic! After seeing your Rain, I'm very excited about seeing a 3D model of this!

I've never been much of a Motaro fan, but I think this will actually be one of the more interesting models you could make. The shape, the proportions, the movement - it's all going to be nice to see!

I realy realy realy realy realy realy can't wait to see a high poly pic of motaro.. wanted to try myselve but never got further than making a freaking sphere :'(

It's pretty cool. I like it. Just wait until you see my early Motaro sketch... oh, yeah, you saw it already. Heh.

About motaro, I'm going to try to make him as realistic as possible, with veins, and have his muscles flex when he moves, maybe have some sweat on him, if I figure out how to do that.

I have 2 Game developers from Midway games helping me with it, so I'll get a big boost in quality from that.

I’m going to meet with them next week, so they can critique my work. Talk about a big break!

The idea is to make this model impressive enough to get me a job at Midway, because that‘s the only company that I really want to work in, #1 on my list.

Thats a good sketch, i hope you get a job at Midway, it would be nice to have an insider lol. Anyways i really like this picture, its simple yet detailed, but makes good of what it is going to be used for all at the same time. I also like how you included shadows on his body for the horns, good job.

My failing in art, I've had no formal training or schooling. Cept highschool which doesn't count for much I know. =P
As of the moment I'm self taught =/

Some day I want to go back to school, just right now I don't have the time.
I do make some of my living off art now, which is main reason why I can't spare going to school..
Kinda a nice catch 22 I'm in right now...

I graduated this year from the American academy of Art in down town Chicago. I went for 4 years, and I got my Bachelors degree in Fine Art with a Major in 3D modeling and animation.

I took 3 semesters of 3D.

I also took Life drawing, Photoshop, film .................bla, bla, bla.........

I'm a professional

Working at Midway has bee my life goal since I was 11 years old and I discovered MK1 and street fighter 2.

I've been a fighting game junky ever since
