Heh, took a while, but here is my new animation.
More precisely, it's a remake of my first (gif) MK animation, to celebrate my first year of MK animating (pathetic isn't it
).
Anyhow:

All comments with good critiques welcome
.
Btw. this is a flash animation, requires flash 5 online player or better, and for best viewing pleasure, turn volume on

Why can't people be like you Tim =(?! And take their time to make great animations like this!
Heh... This is perfect. You put just the right amount of fraimes in the flash animation. Plus the background sound is very nice, and just to add on top of that, the sound effects are great. They're christal clear as well.
Overall: SUPERB!

That is really good. I rember watching this animation the first time u made it and i thought it looked impossible to do. Like always there is nothing wrong with ur animation. There is just one thing that u always do, it seems like those little drops of blood drop so slow. But still very good job
5/5

Well thanks, Jordanman for replying back to the pm. Maybe I'll ask some1 else that has Micromedia Fireworks
.

Thanks everybody, glad you all liked it
.
Now I know it was worth all the effort.
And while I'm here, I'll just point this out....
The key word that you mentioned here, is "pm"

Excellent work, as usual Tim.
I don't mean to nitpick, but in the corner of the screen, the '1' in the '01 wins' looks thinner, as if there was too much shadow.
Apart from that, absolutely perfect. =-o

Damn nice Timsmk 5/5

I think the blood is dropping too slow from the blade and the beginning where Baraka stands by Reptile before the screen goes dark is too long. But other than that, this was sweet. 9/10.

Yeah, I'm not completely sure on why that happened, but either way, I guess it isn't too much of a problem
Thanks again for all the replies
Just wondering what to do next....considering I have a long list of requests

Well this is another masterpiece Tim. Great stuff. It looks nice and crisp and the sound fx, voice overs, and music are great as well. I really liked how the blood dripping sounds were well timed and that the blood stayed on the ground. When the top half of Reptile's body was spinning in Baraka's blade, it sort of made me think about having fire there so it would look like Baraka was roasting Reptile! (Don't get me wrong; I wouldn't have wanted that roasting stuff in the animation. It was just a thought!)
Anyway, I really enjoyed it. It gets a 10/10 from me.

i like it, i hate baraka, but this is a great animation, sound is great, its not choppy one bit, so i like it, only in animation wise, not in character wise, thought reptile wasnt a pimp back then, so i rate this, 9 stars out of ten

I just wish Flash Crash can have a rematch against you, then things will get interesting again

Well, there's a million positive things I could say about this animation (too many to list) so instead I will focus on the negative. But this is constructive somehow, so don't worry ;)
(And I'm REALLY nitpicking here, so if you take any of this advice in future animations, chances are it will be 100% accurate to the game.)
- When Reptile is in his "dizzy" pose, the normal background music is playing. This isn't right, and if you are getting the music from the MK1/MK2 official CD, there is a part near the end of each track that will play the correct "dizzy music" (each stage has different "dizzy music" that resembles the normal stage music).
- Some of the albatrosses are flying a little too low.
- The shadows seem a little too high.
- One shadow may be slightly darker than the other; at any rate, the part where the shadows of Baraka's blade and Reptile's body overlap each other just doesn't look right.
- The shadow of Reptile's upper body unnaturally jumps up by a pixel or two, just as it finishes sliding down Baraka's blade.
- There are win symbols (in this case, two dragon symbols) that should show up briefly after "Baraka Wins" is displayed but before "Fatality" is displayed.
Overall, this is a great animation, and as your animations keep getting better and better I'm really looking at the details. Keep up the awesome work!

Yes, you're dead right, but unfortunately I can't get the finish him music for the stages. So instead I used the part of the music that seems to sound the closest to it. Oh well
- Some of the albatrosses are flying a little too low.
Haha, yeah, I just placed them in places so that you could see the're flying behind stuff, not just pasted on. For show more than anything
.
- The shadows seem a little too high.
This I'm not too sure about. You mean to "stretched" or too high in position on the canvas? Either way, I just kinda made sure they were about half the size and stuck them in there, heh.

Indeed one is, and I have no idea why
. I tried to fix it, but to no avail
.

Hehe, yeah, I had no more time to fix this.

Yeah, I haven't ever bothered with them, but from now on I will. Never gave them too much thought
.

Thanks for going so deep, lol. It's much better to nitpick those tiny, tiny things, because eventually I will get them right. Much better than saying silly things like "the time before the screen goes dark is too long." I mean, huh? (Sorry to whoever said that, heh, but I did time it
). I look forward to more of my work too, lol

I have done many tests in the past and can officially say that the character shadows in MK are 1/3 the height of the character sprites.
Great animation. With each one you get better and better. I may have missed a few of the ones inbetween the last one I saw of yours and this one but I am glad you are now totally Arcade quality and not using SNES sprites and music :D
Don't forget that MAME has cheats. I am sure there is one that allows you have infintie time to do a fatality. You could record the music during the dizzy.
One more thing. You could record a full victory for Baraka from MAME. That way you would have all the correct backing music, the drones that play behind the speech. You would need a PC of over 1.7Gh to do that though if you were running MAME and a wav recorder at the same time.

Heh, true points.
Unfortunately I only have a 1ghz machine (pathetic I know) but the infinite fatality time cheat just could work.
Thanks
To Gl1ch:
How do I do them?
Heh, with great patience, lol. They just take more and more time each one I do. I hope it's because I'm getting better, lol, or something's just seriously wrong.
I use Macromedia Flash 5.
Get all the sprites, whop em in with a large collection of sounds and voila
