Mage noticed raiden had teleported and keith disappered, she shruged "huh guess they wanted to rest" reptile nodded "what are you up to anyways" mage laughed "I read about this in a few scrolls, its called a binding ceramony, its like a wedding for gods" she said smiling reptile laughed "I remeber when you where just a timid girl, oh how goddesses grow up so fast" he said mocking tears mage fell over laughing "ok ok enough" reptile smirked "need a wedding party?" mage just shook her head "no only the grooms"

that night at 11:50 she had the ceremony set up, she only needed raiden and keith, raiden appeared "forgive me for being early, but are you sure about this once this is done, it can never be undone" mage nodded "don't worry, I know I made the right choices"

Keith was metating, when his internal clock told him to get up, it was 11:55. He stood up, made himself visible, and jumped down to the floor. In the distance, he could see Raiden and Mage. He quickly zipped to his room, washed up, and came out with two minutes to spare. He flew over everybody, and came down in a gleam of light. "Ahhh, you have to love big entrances."

Mage smiled "you made it" she motioned both to come forward "welcome to our binding ritual" she said softly "since you two are my partner gods I think its time we did this" she blushed at the thought then motioned to them both "keith please stand here, raiden stand here " she pointed to points on the circle she had drawn on the ground "now take each others hands" she said as she took raiden's hand and keith's hand

Mage smiled "ok now close your eyes and I will begin" she held up her head "ELDER GODS HEAR ME, I HAVE CHOSEN MY PARTER GODS, THEY SHALL BE EVERYTHING TO ME, AND NOT EVEN YOU SHALL BREAK OUR BOND!" she cried as everything around them was absorbed by a flash of light, their hands began to glow as mage looked at both "I ACCEPT KEITH AND RAIDEN AS MY GODS" she cried then looked at raiden "DO YOU ACCEPT ME AND KEITH AS YOUR ALLIES" raiden held up his head "I ACCEPT" she then looked at keith "DO YOU ACCPET ME AND RAIDNE AS YOUR ALLIES"

Mage smiled "THEN WE ARE BOUND BY ALL THREADS" she said as the light died down, everyone felt a buring sensesion in their hands a moment then it stopped "ok we can let go now" mage said smilling as she looked on her palms, one bore a duel symbol, light and dark, the other bore the mark of thunder, raiden was the next to look "I see it worked" he said smiling as on one hand was the mark of the mind and the other the duel mark light and darkness

"I guess mine worked too." In Keith's hands were the mark of the mind, and the mark of thunder. But he noticed that it wasn't really there, as much as the others. He made a mental note to check out some scrolls later, but for now, they celebrated. "Now, who's up for some food."

Mage laughed and checked the palms of both "hmmm" she said looked at keith "the more confident you are of the bond the stronger they should appear, give it time" she said soflty smiling, she looked at raiden's they were the strongest of the three "guess I need some assurance on this too" she thought then looked at both and took their hands again "well, you heard keith, shall we go celebrate"

Everyone arrived at the central building for the ceremony dinner. Keith just stared at his hands. Everyone was talking and having a great time. While everyone was eating, Keith stealitly got his way out of the dinner hall and to the archives. He started reading old prophecies. He heard someone coming so he took the most intresting ones, which included god binding, armeageddon, and the epic battle between gods. He turned himself invisible. Walking in was an assasin, with six other assasins, all bearing the mark of the Black Dragon Clan. The obivous leader spoke up "Listen up, Kano has sent us here to exterminate the godess Mage with this enchanted dagger. I need you two (he pointed at the two closest to the door) to watch our exit, and take out any roaming warriors. Everyone else, you guys make two groups to distract Raiden and Keith. I will destroy her myself. We start tommorow at midnight." Keith wanted to come out of hiding, and easily get rid of this threat. But he realized that if he waited until the next night, he could spring a trap, and take the dagger and destroy it. Or, he could save it unless Shinnok ever came back. Either way, he had to find out who forged the dagger, and he had to kill the Black Dragon clan. But for now, he had to stay focused on the matter at hand. He also had to warn Mage and Raiden. But first, he had to hide these scrolls until he could read them later. He waited until the Black Dragon left, and he zipped to his room, hid the scrolls, and zipped back to the dinner hall. "Mage, I have to tell you something. Come over here." "I just saw seven Black Dragon assasins and they're plotting to kill you tommorow night at midnight. They have an enchanted dagger that they're going to use to KILL you. They don't know that I know, so what you should do, is lay low, and let it blow over. I know where they're going to meet, and I'm going to assault them before they can even think about attacking you."

Raiden smiled "don't worry, i am glad you are reading these, it saves me the trouble of explaining everything to you" raiden smirked a moment then sighed "these scroll are visons I had long ago, our desitany is at hand, but it may cost all three of us everything" raiden looked sadly at the symbols on his hand "this bond, which meant to be eternal will mean nothing if action is not taken" he began to pace as he looked at keith "my friendship with fujin, the bonds we have made will be ending in one fell swoop, all because of a mistake the eldergods made long ago" raiden's eyes shone red a moment "and we are the two ment to fix it" he looked at keith "along with the spirt goddess, the one who binds us, and who we are bound to"

raiden laughed "our bonding insures our success at this keith, if we where not, we would have a greater thread, a mad spirt goddess"

Mage started back quietly so as not to be heard "mad goddess, me?" she listened

"those scrolls show the history of creation itself, and the aftermath of the choice made" raiden continued "as you know the one being was split into seven pieces, known as the kadimagou, to allow for life to exist, but at a price. Should the seven piece be brought together, the one being would return. The elder gods decided to hide the pieces in each realm, where mortals would eventually find them." raiden began to pace "just one of those fragments can increase the power of a person ten fold, just imagine what all seven would do, and it would make the person the vessale to bring back the one being and end all life. They would become a mere puppet bent on dominating all realms, starting the process of the end days" Raiden stopped and looked up "I had begged the elders to bring at least one of the peices back to the heavens for the safty of all realms or find a way to make it so no one could touch them without causing a disaster for themselves but they would not listen, they assured me that mortals could be trusted, but even at that young age I knew better, not all mortals would mearly leave them be. Any mortal that wanted power and found out about theses relics would go after them in a heartbeat" raiden snapped then sighed "now we have to prevent that from happening, by taming the one begin once more putting him into his slumber and find the seven relics and hiding them where no one would find them" raiden sighed "or at least preventing the end days to soon"

"as gods we can sense them, and mage is the only one who can actually fight the one being, since she is immune to his spell as for where to hide them, one goes into the nexus and one to the heavens, the rest we can figure out later" raiden said calmly, his eyes white again

Mage felt a tap on her shoulder, it was reptile "did you hear all that" he whispered mage nodded "how can I become a mad goddess, I feel sane enough" reptile sighed "its your powers, they can break you mental if you are not careful" he said "I guess raiden did not want to alarm you but now there is little threat of that, bound to your gods you should remain stable" mage shook her head "wonderful... I can't become a puppet but I can become a psyco killer" she said, careful not to be heard "and all that other stuff, this is getting dangerous" reptile nodded "are you surprised?"

meanwhile kano was hunting for his prey, but she was no where in the banquet hall "where is that bitch" he thought

"How is she going to fight him if he takes control of me?" Keith had no time to listen for a response. He felt Kano and the other's presence at the banquet. Ambush time! He zipped over to the banquet hall and suprised kano with a jumping back kick. Kano went flipping over a table and through another one. Keith then was about to jump up and come down with a kick when he sensed another assasin coming at him. He stuck out his leg and the assasin ran into it breaking his neck. The other six came rushing to the banquet hall after hearing all the comotion and pulled out their daggers. Keith had never told anybody, but he daggers as well. He pulled them out flipping them masterfully. After a couple seconds of intense dagger battles, he blocked an attack and impaled one of the attackers. He took the assain's dagger and blocked another attack and slit the attacker's throat. There were five left and Kano was still through the table. Keith took his other dagger and cut someone across their chest. He jumped up and kicked two attackers at Kano who had just stood up. They all toppled over. Keith ducked under another attack and stabbed one assasin three times. He did a leg sweep to the last one and took his dagger and shoved through his skull. The other two assaisns came charghing as Kano stood in the back. Keith ducked down and thanks to his good friend Johnny Cage, did a classic "BALL BREAKER!!!!" They all toppled over. Kano charged at Keith and did his air cannon roll. It hit keith directly in the chest and Keith flew into a spectator. No one wanted to interfere because they didn't want to get caught in the crossifre. Keith made light energy in his hands and started flinging them at Kano, all connecting. Keith made his hand become light and plunged it into Kano's chest. Kano began to light up and Keith took his hand out. Kano was knocked unconsious. Keith finally had time to breath.

Mage ran in "keith you did it!" she cried smiling "you saved me!" she hugged the light god tightly, raiden stood back thinking "let him have his moment, he deserves it from her" he smiled and looked on

Keith was very happy. Having Mage hug him made him feel like he belonged. Besides all the blood on his hands he felt right. He could feel Raiden smiling looking on, this woulnd't be so bad after all.

Reptile slinked behind raiden "well isn't this a touching sight" reptile hissed raiden gave a cross look at reptile "don't even think about starting a fight lizard" he snarled reptile laughed "calm down, I know her, she has both and is mearly rewarding one for his brillance in ambushing a possible assassin, still I wonder why they are after her" raiden sighed "because she is the only one who can truly end their dark ways" raiden looked on "but that won't be for a while yet, let us enjoy the celebration first" he said smiling
