Not bad. It's a little short. In the 2nd frame it looks like Kabal's waist is missing. In the end Kabal's arms look skinny. And when Kabal impales Baraka, it looks like Baraka sinks a little. Oh yeah, and when Kabal throws Baraka, Baraka gets thrown a little to close to his body.

Right, well you are new at this, so I'll highlight what you need to do.

You CANNOT make a decent animation with only six frames. I mean, you can see that the ani is EXTREMELY jumpy.
If where you're getting your sprites from (im guessing the warehouse), doesn't have enough sprites for animation purposes (to use fluently), then you need to get your own.

- No lifebars, not overly necessary but always a nice tough.
- The blood fountain should at least dissapear if you're not going to animate it.
- MORE FRAMES REQUIRED!
- It looks like Kabal is pulling Baraka's torso in a throw manouvre, therefore the way Baraka's torse is positioned on the floor wouldn't make sense, you would've thought it would have been thrown a little further.
- Look at Kabal's feet and at the transparency on frame 3 (that's how bad you need more frames! I can count the frames!). Kabal is missing a section of his stomach, and his shoes throughout are about 1/3 of the size they should be.
- The Hookswords? What on earth is up with those?
- Kabal jumps around a bit, careful on placing each new sprite.
- The other half of the screen is not used at all! Maybe it would be better to place the action in the middle, or make the torso fly to the other side.

The good news is that the idea is quite good, but it NEEDS to be well executed! The background is quite reasonable as well.

Like I said, you NEED more frames and sprites.
I know you're new at this, so fair enough. Animation needs to be fluent, or otherwise even if it's a good idea, it will look terrible.

well we all gotta start somewhere. At least you didn't do what I did, capture the video off your snes and then edit from there. Now that was a pain (although I got pretty good at video editing).
