I think it's beautifully done. It's a really great mix of what she started as and what she has become through out the story. It's elegant and chic and I wish I could see this as a design for her in future games.

This design looks something like, in my own opinion, what Kitana should look like when she becomes Queen of Edenia. She looks like a princess in her current costume, and this looks like something she should use when she finally comes to power. Would be very cool to see. Superb, 5/5.

Love how you left the mask off, Kitana's not an assasin anymore and plus, her and Mileena need to be shown as different people and Kitana's beauty should be shown, after all, it what makes Mileena jealous. So it doesn't make sense for Kitana NOT to show her beautiful face, thats why i'm a bit mad with her having the mask in MKVSDC. you did a great job.

Even though I'm of the camp that Kitana should move away from the princess aspects of her character in the future, this is a nice outfit that balances between her being royalty and a warrior. It suits her well and gives her her own look.

I also have to say, having seen earlier drawings by you, that your style has also improved. Keep it up.


You should do one on Sareena some day.

@ XiahouDun: Thanks man, I appreciate the kind words. It's nice to know that progress can be seen in my work. As for Sareena? You know, before her involvment in MKA... I'll admit that I didn't know a whole lot about her, nor did I got out of my way to find out. (Never played Mythologies.) However, soon after playing her in MKA, I began to change my mind. She was awesome and it prompted me to find out more about her. Now she's one of my faves. Go figure lol. So there is a very good chance that you'll see a Sareena pic from me.

I like how her "robe" (yeah, let's call it that) has a chinese look to it, and how it doesn't hide her leotard suit which is beneath, but still gives the effect of a loose hanging robe.

I am all in for thigh-high boots and long gloves, but they can quickly become boring... But you've managed to make them interesting by adding the sleeves and the cloth hanging from her shins. And I absolutely adore the high heels!

I would like for her hair to look more interesting though. It resembles her MK2 hairstyle, but with a circlet except for a hairband. I like the circlet, but if you could give her a cooler hairstyle, it would be perfect.
I love what they did to her hairstyle in MKDA, the long ponytail looks very cool and it was a turn away from the ordinare hairstyles she had in the past.

Overall a cool royal outfit for an Edenian heiress, keeping elements from her past styles and add something completely original.

Tell me about that. I honestly think they keep using the ponytails on their female characters because its an easy and cheap cop out. Step up your game MK team and stop using these crappy techniques. No more ponytail on Kitana!

I really like those sleeves you ahve added, thats something I tried to do in one of my Kitana designs, which was more of a dress-type design. I think the transparent aspect is great and the contrast in colour with the main out fit pulls the arm-wear and bodice together nicely. (I think you could have carried through the transparent material to her thighs, copletely covering her, but the bare thighs are kinda sexy but not slutty).

I love how her chest is completely covered, and how her hair is down (though i do live the long MKDA pony-tail). I also really like the train behind, again something I partly tried to do with a previous design but with a less successful outcome than urs.

If im honest theres something about the face that I think doesnt fit Kitana, perhaps its the skin-tone or perhaps its the forehead-jewel, Im not sure, but I dont find it hideous or feel it lets everything down, just thought Id point it out.

I always love Kitana artwork especially when someone tries something new. You've captured something in between ninja-assassin and princess, which is great, and exactly what Kitana needs IMO.

Im currently working on a Kitana 'montage' of various costumes I came up with/will come-up for Kitana, as well as slightly tweaking existing ones. Imma steal this and claim it as my own. Haha just kidding of course, but u have given me some ideas.

Also I agree with XiahouDun, do Sareena (Im currently working on one for the MkvsDc contest thingy). I just wish I had your skills in both drawing and colouring lol. Your atrwork is always great quality (even fi I dont like the design 100%)
