MKLove Art - Kabal and Kobra (Requests Accepted)
Edit 2: Didn't realize this was so old
Edit: Now to the artist I just looked at Scorpion and Sub-Zero, my first reaction was awwwwwz I like Sub-Zero's facial design and eye scar.
Quan Chi and Shang Tsung's made me laugh, it's interesting to see such visually divergent characters appear together.
Shao Kahn and Reiko's is interesting, I almost thought it was Rain until I read the title hmm.
Sonya and whom ever she is with is cool, but the proportions seem a bit off and Sonya's hands look bigger than her forearms
I really like your idea, using popular media to promote wider acceptance, great work.

It should be noted that my response on the first page about deliberately seeking to shock people or whatever it was, was in response to text that isn't there anymore, it was edited out of the first post.
Oh goodness... Of all the threads that could have gotten bumped instead, this one happens to be bumped.
Ugh, goes to show you what happens when you defend someone's artwork against some crazy religious nutcase who preaches about how it's wrongful that gay people exists... I already have to deal with someone like this off this site, but still...
Point here is that if you're against gays, lesbians, bis, whatever... Take your preaching bullshit elsewhere, because all you're going to do is make some big commotion where half the site is going to lynch you for it, you were better off not saying anything at all. If you despise something like this so much, you're better off just leaving the thread or site if it makes you uncomfortable that you're in a community where a lot of users happens to be gay.
And I'm greatly surprised that this thread never got closed after that bullshit happened. That was utterly, utterly uncalled for.

It's good to dwell on things that happened over 2 years ago.
This thread is for discussing the artwork.
This thread is for discussing the artwork.
I didn't pay attention to the dates, I just assumed it was new, wasn't trying to dwell on it, just trying to get people to discuss the artwork and not their political views as it's not related and only inflammatory, my bad for not double checking. I didn't realize someone bumped it.

I can't help but laugh at the fact that everytime someone post a gay scene in artwork, people instantly think it is because of the shock factor.
Anyways, it is cute, but it also looks rather odd, but I think that's due to the front view angle you drew it in.

Well it helps when the artist flat-out states it.
But like I said, that was edited out of the post. I should've used the quote button. Not often you have a reason to look back with hindsight on a post you made two frickin' years ago.

Ah, I see, but it wasn't just pinpointed at you. I generally see comments like that on deviant art as well, some people being outright disgusted by it and completely trashing the artist because of it which is quite disrespectful to the artist, not to mention the people who like said art and those whose lifestyle is depicted in said art.
But oh well, the internetz and all that shazz...

Well I tend to avoid commenting on work I don't like on DeviantArt.
If I did, I might get stuck spending all day arguing with "shippers" both gay and straight. I just don't quite get the appeal of the whole "crack pairings" thing where you ignore the personalities and stories of the characters in a show or game or what have you, and imagine them in love with each other in seemingly random combinations based, I guess, on nothing more than "I'm a fan of this one and I'm a fan of this one or I think this one's hot and I think that one's hot, so they should be together 'cause I say so"?
But between those and furries, that place is a madhouse. Oh...and there's the fact that over half of the MK art is "original characters" who are just unimaginative palette swaps of the ninja girls. I swear, I keep seeing this one in search results over and over who literally just IS Kitana. Dark hair, blue suit, no changes! It's Kitana with a different name. Drives me crazy, but I just put up my art, keep to myself, and keep my mouth shut, because I wouldn't dare do something that might make those crazies try to converse with me. I'm certain they're all teenaged girls who're making these things, and at my age, I don't need the noise a teenaged girl makes in my life.

Oh alright, I see... I never considered you as a homophobe, just generally a very hateful person.

Hateful might be a little strong...I would use the words "consistently disappointed."
