"A please would have been nice, but I will tell you if you tell me your plans for Raiden."
In truth the fierce single mindedness of the strange woman worried Ekibyogami,as it leads to drastic action and he wished to scope out how out of hand this situation could get.

"So be it mortal, i am Serenity, i am the goddess of time. I have been sent by the Elder Gods to punish Raiden for interfering with their plans. Now that i have humored you, tell me who you are and how you know Raiden." Serenity worries now if she should of told this mortal of her plans, she has never dealt with mortals first hand, but she cannot show them her deep insecurities of her mission.

As much as he agreed with the idea of punishing Raiden,Ekibygami new he would be needed to stop the Earthrealm from being destroyed. He came up with a gambit, and hoped that this was a god of honour.

"We have arrived at a impasse,I can't let you punish Raiden, for his services are needed for this realm, and you seem determined to catch him. At the same time i promised to tell you what I knew. So I propose a challenge, not a fight, you win and i lead you to Raiden,I win you wait until the Earthrealm is safe before you try to punish him."

Ekibyogami pulled out a stick and balanced it on his left index finger, with an equal amount of stick on each side, and held his right index finger over the right side. " If i push on the right side of the stick, which will be the first side to go down"

Ire surveys Goro's lair as the sounds of fighting from Johnny and Baraka echo from the courtyard above.

"what a pathetic dungeon! is this really the best they can do? chains and skeletons, not even a rack in sight! No matter, when all of creation's defenders are dead I'll have plenty of renovations to do. For now I shall observe the fighters, but first to get out of this pathetic display."

Ire heads for the open grate to the far right of Goro's lair, entering the labyrinth behind it.

Off in a secluded corner of the courtyard, idly watching the other kombatants, stands Shiloh, hands folded, a serious look in his eyes. As warriors upon warriors flood in from every direction, descending upon the battleground, excitement, then despair overcome him.

At first, the thirst for sport and gore overcame him. As the star student at Outworld's Warrior Academy, Shiloh was awarded a ticket to view the event; and he was very glad for that. He had crippled two of his fellow students for a chance to watch the famed Mortal Kombat tournament. Only one thing gave the fighter more pleasure than to watch pain and suffering on the battlefield, and that was to cause that pain and suffering.

However, it was from that desire – the desire to cause pain – that sadness was borne in Shiloh. Because he has yet to graduate from the Academy, he is only permitted to watch the tournament, not participate. As he reflected on this fact, slowly the melancholy in him was washed away: pushed aside by rage.

For as long as he could remember, Shiloh had dedicated himself to Outworld. Never did he cease training. His ruthlessness had earned him honors and records never before seen in Outworld's Warrior Academy. As a reward for his ferocity, he was even awarded a special karambit: the blade had been enchanted by one of Outworld's sorcerers. With a simple twirl of his blade, for a few seconds, Shiloh could become intangible: a prize for his loyalty. Yet, all his achievements were for naught if his Emperor, Shao Kahn, would not recognize his worth. Even the General he admired most, Reiko, wouldn't grant him the honor of a real battle: one where people's lives were actually at stake.

His fury, however, was overwhelming. In a fit of anger, Shiloh reached into his pocket, and pulled out his scarf. Wrapping it around his face, in a vain attempt to hide his identity. However, the scarf was semi-transparent, and did nothing to disguise him – no one had ever accused the student of being particularly bright.

But nonetheless, Shiloh was able to swerve through the ranks of warriors until he reached. He was able to stay concealed just long enough to register as a kombatant. Hopefully now he would have the opportunity to prove his value as a warrior of Outworld!

are all mortals like this? It matters not, win or lose i will find Raiden. THAT'S the important thing Serenity thought. "Fine. The right side will go down first. Tell me mortal, who are you? Do you not fear the goddess of time?"

Standing up straight, attempting to make himself appear menacing, and failing, Shiloh snarls. "Whose side are you on?" Shiloh grips his karambit, prepared to launch himself at the man if he is siding with Raiden.

Khaali takes a deep swig of the revoltingly strong fermented alcohol that the monk retreived for her, and finds herself staring in confusion at Annette.
Khaali had seen such extravagant clothing back in Outworld, but only on royalty and nobility, and certainly never on a Shokan. She wondered what a women doing dressed like that was doing amongst warriors.

"What in the Emporer's name....are you wearing... little one?" She hisses to the girl.

I should not be here.

Legs crossed, eyes closed, staff laying across his lap, outward appearances would lead an observer to believe Merrick to be in some sort of meditative state. And though not quite accurate, it would not be too far from the truth. He sits and concentrates, going examining how well his body is functioning as both Physician and Healer. Ensuring that he is in top condition for the upcoming battles.

Battles I should not be participating in.

He is not sure how he came to be here, were it up to him he would be at home, or work right now. The Mortal Kombat tournament was no place for an Edenian looking to act against the emperor. His victories would count against his goals and, knowing this, he had chosen for centuries to never enter.

But now he finds himself here against his will, and that leaves him with limited options. If he wished to live he would have to fight, at least long enough to find a merciful opponent to forfeit to.

Until such time, however..

"Probably something bad,but nonetheless i'm glad you will wait. Our first goal should be to recruit that robed fellow over there, and meet Raiden at the tournament,I don't think it has started yet, also don't give Raiden any note of who you are,he is the paranoid type"
Ekibyogami was surprised to see the tough exterior of the Goddess give way like that, but he was glad she seemed agreeable to be around. He also appreciated her apology,he still hadn't got one from Raiden, and he had wronged him more than any exchange of words.

Shiloh raised an eyebrow. "Okay?" He was still unsure what realm this man was from. He was sure that he was not an Earthrealm warrior; and equally certain he was not from Outworld. But he was very intrigued by the idea of killing – ending the lives of all the kombatants.

He thought for a moment. He could turn on this man before he tried to kill him. But, before then, he could use this man's bloodlust to his advantage.

"If we go after Raiden and his warriors first, I'll help you."

He started twirling his karambit around his finger, blinking in and out of tangibility as he did so (and simultaneously becoming semitransparent). He was displaying – no bragging – about his powers to this warrior.

"I'm Shiloh."

From the shadows emerged a figure alarming to the man but familiar to the one known as Ire. A being clothed in rotted samurai robes emerges with shining katana in hand, his presence illuminated only by the fire surrounding what used to be his face. His one eye turned to Ire, the figure states, "Ire, I did not expect to see you here. Is this..... person proving to be a nuisance for your work?" "Not yet Okorik, but I will remove him if I must," said Ire, voice now confident. Blade in hand, Okorik points it at the figure and says with a calm tone, "Tell me boy, are you here to interrupt the work of Lord Shinnok? If not, I may forget this incident ever occurred but if you are, prepare yourself for a most unpleasant experience."

Shiloh gave a sly smile. "I may be young, but I've killed people with literally hundreds of years more experience than me." He stood proud. "I earned this blade! I tore the leg off one of my classmates with my bare hands in the middle of sparring match! This karambit was my reward." Shiloh was not shy about the trophies he won at the Outworld Youth Military Academy. "So, when, I offer you my help, you shouldn't question that." Shiloh was by no means humble, and his confidence bordered on narcissism. It's quite possible he's overestimating himself.

In truth Ekibiyogami only heard of Shang Tsung the other day,but if he was willing to trust someone whose main goal was to hunt an ally,he might as well trust this one. He would keep an eye on him,but they could use inside info on Tsung. He opened a portal scroll given to him by Raiden, and brought the trio to an area in Shang Tsung's Island ,just in time to see Johnny and Reptile in battle.
"I will get you some time to talk to Raiden Marek,if you wish to register for the tourney,do it quickly, time is running out. Serenity and I are banned because of our godly roots, but we can observe. Serenity may wish to find an excuse as to why she can not participate,as to avoid revealing herself."

During my most recent meditation, I was visited and beseiged by horrific images of the future, the time yet to come. Dozens and dozens of Kombatants lay dead in a crater with a pyramid at it's epicenter, and then I watched as Shao Kahn, my former master and lord, took the power of a Godly empowered firespawn and slew Lord Raiden. But what I witnessed next was...I am not cognizant of a word to describe the horror of what I saw."
