As soon as Marek spoke of his vision, She knew that THAT was the will of the Elder Gods: Armageddon. Deep inside her she felt disgusted that her mission is to see this through, but she needs to, its her job.

He would make a good addition to the Netherrealm but I will settle for him focusing his power against the Earthrealm warriors. He should watch himself to make sure he does not betray us or the consequences will be most deadly," Okorik thought to himself as he walked to an abandoned tent on the outskirts of the island. "Best to be prepared for any challenges," said Okorik while sitting in the tent, pulling out the blade, and sharpening it on his metallic gloves.

Ire Follows Okorik to the outskirts of the island. Such a fool this one Ire thought....but with such powers of phasing he could get lucky and kill even a netherrealm warrior. Ire kept his guard up for just that reason.

Marek performs an incantation that transforms his purple hooded robes into a set of black unhooded robes, revealing his tanned skin, spiked jet black hair, and gleaming blue eyes. Conjuring a battle axe out of thin air, Ekibyogami and Serenity give him quizzical looks. "I desire to only use my powers when it is absolutely essential to emerge victorius. I intend to give my opponents a fair chance at victory." Marek stows his battle axe within his robes and sets off to find Raiden.

"Raiden I have found two warriors,though they can not compete as they are from other realms,but should we lose they should be of help."
"I have received a fuller vision,this time of me being destroyed on the pyramid after fighting Kahn" replied Raiden.
This reminded Ekibyogami of the words of Marek,which disheartened him.
"Someone needs to talk to you." He turned around to see Marek had walked off.

Marek had walked off so the first thing that came to Serenity's lips were "Hello.. Lord Raiden" Serenity has never been so nervous before. This was in fact her first "job" by the Elder gods. "if you need any assistance please inform me." Stay calm Serenity thought. "It appears the morta.. i mean your warrior is the victor Raiden."
As Johnny Cage fought the savage Tarkatan Baraka, Krimson noticed through her peripheral vision, a bald man looking at her, Kano and then thinking to himself.
Curious of this man's actions, Krimson slowly snucked behind the crowd and relocated next to him to find out his intentions.
The man was obviously surprised, but acted unphased.
Krimson watched Kano whisper something in Shang Tsung's ear. She couldn't hear his words over the banter of the kombatants, the monks and the fight, but she could read enough between the spaces of his fingers to see what he told the sorcerer.
Krimson let loose a slight chuckle, "hahaha'.
The fight was over with Johnny Cage emerging victorious. Baraka lay beaten on the grounds of the Courtyard fading in and out of consicousness.
Shang Tsung demanded that Johnny Cage finish Baraka, but the movie story refused that notion uneasily. Shang Tsung dismissed the Tournament, and the kombatants scattered across the island.

'Any particular reason you are pursuing me, woman?'
Krimson leaped in front of him, 'Normally, I wouldn't make myself known like this, but who are you? Why were staring at me during the tournament?'
'I am Shiku'
Curious of this man's actions, Krimson slowly snucked behind the crowd and relocated next to him to find out his intentions.

"And I'll make you eat your words. I'll show you just how powerful intangibility and is, and just how helpful being short and agile can be. Because I'll kill whomever they set me up against." He was very serious.
He shook his head, trying to shake away all the anger he had at the two Netherrealm fighters, following their trek. "So, what can you do?"

Ire stopped for a moment, stretching out a gauntleted hand. A dark flash of flame a large mace appeared in Ire's grip. The weapon had a long sprialed steel shaft. the iron ball and spikes at its end was easily the size of a Shokan's head. a dark and foreboding aura surrounded the area as the summoning had completed...."Would you like to find out?"

Marek walks away from the courtyard, taking in the landscape of Shang Tsung's island, releasing a deep sigh as he remembers the visions that visited him not too long ago. Visions of the One Being's return...The end of all life within the realms. "I must not allow Shao Kahn to claim the prize and wreak Armageddon upon the realms. I shall not-" Marek snaps out of his reverie as he reaches a long bridge set high above a blood soaked field of razor sharp metal spikes littered with the rotting and dismembered bodies of fallen Kombatants. Marek watches several Oni feasting on the bloody remains.
Marek bows his head in solemn prayer for the fallen warriors. "May you all find peace in the life to come." Suddenly, Marek's head quickly shoots up and his eyes glow a menacing blue. Standing completely still without turning around, Marek speaks aloud. "I warned you once before, you cannot hide from me....Reptile." With a low growl, the Zaterran warrior materializes.

Annette fumbled for words, partially due to speaking mostly french, but also for being both frightened and slightly flattered that someone noticed her home made clothing for better or worse. She shook it off however, knowing that kind of attitude would lead her nowhere in a place like this... She replied, "Clothing.", because the words that did come to her were few and quite simple. She fumbled again briefly, then smiled nervously as she spoke.
"I made them... At home. Not like I can really afford nice things but a girl likes to dress up now and then." She twiddles her thumbs and switches standing on each foot, unable to stand still. She continues, "Small talk isn't really my "thing", so to speak...So... Uh, where are you from, exactly? You look like some kind of statue... What's her name... Some religious thing, I don't know, I'm rambling. Feel free to leave.............. But don't take that the wrong way or anything. You look annoyed. I'm sorry."

Being a loner because of his entire town's disappearance in the recent past, Shiku was wary of everyone he saw. When he observed Krimson and Kano conversating, too far away to hear what they were saying, he speculated that they were allies. It was the Black Dragon clan who had stolen his weapon not long ago, in hope of learning its secrets but they were unsuccessful.
Staying fairly silent as he was listening for clues during the first few fights of the tournament, he noticed that he was being followed. He let his pursuer follow him into Shang Tsungs garden, where two other fighters were seen on a bridge attacking each other.
Krimson revealed herself, questioning Shiku...
"I am Shiku. I do not like being followed" he says sternly. I am of the Wind Rider clan, that has been taken hostage by an enemy I do not know. If you know anything about my clans where abouts, I will find out, and if I have to, I will not hesitate to end your life...
'I know not of what you speak of, Shiku. I am Krimson. I just want to know why were you watching me?' She boldly stated.
The two stared intently. Neither giving up.

....the tournament, the whole "competition" and "fight later on" lines were kind of obvious I thought.....

Shiku grunts as the other two kombatants leaves, then pulls the staff from off his back, then he quickly whips it in the air and a cord with a hook on the end of it pops out from his staff and wraps around a tree branch. Shiku rises silently into the darkness of the treetops, only barely shaking the trees as he leaps from branch to branch. He senses that there are ghosts nearby..
Shiku was impressed with the sterness and determination of Krimson, but he still seemed almost disappointed that he had not found what he was looking for. He was satisfied with not gaining another enemy however.
(and if a situation ever arose where Kano needed a stomping, he might...jump in if need be..ha)

"My lord.. How do we go on with this?" Aim asked. The grandmaster looked at him with a questioning grin on his face. Aim stepped forward and continued. "Sime Tra has been staged as an user of black magic, while you are the actual traitor of the clan. You, our grandmaster! Is this what you've been doing here all the time? Using the Trea Kahet as your little string puppets?" The grandmaster stood up. "Sime Tra is already leaving. Haven't you figured it out already? The production of Aktina has already vanished in our clan. Only the soulkeepers are able to create energy.. With a cost."
Aim frustrated at his own grandmaster: "The cost of a human soul to help us in the war is nothing compared to evicting one of us for no reason. The leadership has driven you into a monster. Everyone in the clan has started to question your choices; it won't be long until the revolution begins. I will use the rest of my energy to give birth to Master Shingai, who will take your place immediately."
The grandmaster had a strong grip on his acts. "Aim.. You are nothing but waste to me. You are only a soulkeeper because this pathetic clan wanted you to be one. You really don't even have an idea what actual power and leadership is." The grandmaster stood up from his chair and walked up to Aim. He spawned out a giant, red Antiktina sword that he slowly pointed towards Aim. "Your days as a soulkeeper AND a soul ends here. I am going to corrupt your soul and send it to the Netherrealm, where Lord Shinnok can decide your faith." "You're insane", Aim answered. "The emperor will be here soon, and all you do is use your power for your own good. If you break the rules, you blame someone else. If someone knows about your acts, you make them vanish. The elders of Trea Kahet will soonly know about your acts", Aim pointed out by taking a bunch of great souls from his chest. The grandmaster stopped.
Aim looked at him for a while. "The emperor is here". Aim inserted the souls back into his chest, while the grandmaster went outside to meet the emperor. Aim stalked them from the door as they spoke at the gate. The emperor looked brutal. A giant man with a sledgehammer and a mask that looked like a half of a skull. All Aim could hear was the Grandmaster disagreeing with the emperor's requests. "Master, no!" He said silently to himself. The emperor grabbed his sledgehammer and swinged it at the grandmaster, making him fly in the temple's moat. Tarkatan hordes soon ran from behind the emperor, killing everyone in the temple. Heads and limbs being cut. Blood sprayed over the walls. Legless monks were begging for mercy, only to get decapitated by the emperor's sledgehammer. The monster of a human just laughed to the fall of Trea Kahet.
Aim watched his friends die in terror. He inserted his hands on his chest and summoned out all the souls he had. After being weakened, Aim slowly casted a spell that made a fusion between some of the greatest souls in the previous generation of the clan. This fusion created a huge sphere of Aktina that Aim took in his hands. "It's all up to you. Never come back. Reawaken the Trea Kahet when your powers have regenerated. Do not avenge him, or he does it again. Best of luck to you."
Aim threw the sphere far at the mountains, just before he got brutally slaughtered by Baraka. It was the end of Trea Kahet.. Yet, it was also the beginning of something big.

As the others spoke, Shingai walked in slowly, looking at the other kombanants. The whole arena was full of faces the elders of Trea Kahet couldn't predict. Shingai looked at the faces. People in straight jackets that felt like they were enjoying every breath they took. Priests in long capes. A brown-ish giant with stripes on his arms and a scarf on his face. Among these fearsome warriors stood a face he knew he'd meet in the tournament.
Shingai walked up to him. "I know you from somewhere. Where can I find the man they call 'the emperor' ?"

Serenity walked off trying to not draw attention to herself. She finds herself staring at the moon while walking, thinking of what to do. "I don't know what to do, i know i MUST do my mission but it feels so wrong."
Stop it she thought. After walking inspecting the warriors for a few hours Serenity decided to rest until Ekibyogami wakes up.
If only she knew that at that time Marek was being attacked

On the Pit bridge, Marek slowly and calmly turns around to face the Zaterran assassin Reptile, who growls in anger for being discovered so easily by the Shadow Priest. "Reptile. I must say it pains me to still see you licking the heels of the emperor. Worse still, the sorcerer has you living at the bottom of this abyss like a wild Oni." Reptile growls as he lurks closer to Marek, his yellow reptilian eyes gleaming in the moonlight. "I ssserve the emperor'ssss will. Ssshao Kahn commanded me to guard the sssorcerer, and eliminate all Kombatantsss in the tournament. He alssso ordered me to eliminate a traitoroussss Sssshadow Priesssst ssshould he appear at the tournament." Marek solemnly shakes his head. "I pity you, Reptile. You are blinded to the truth about your people by your service to Kahn." The Raptor growls once again, louder than before. "Silence! Prepare to die!"
