Ekibyogami coughs up blood,and begins to chuckle.

Her ring blade stops mere inches from Ekibyogami.

"Whats so funny?"

"That after all these years people will still follow the stupidest fads heh heh oww,it hurts to laugh."

Ekibyogami looks up seriously.

"Oh and I win"

Before Serenity can act, Marek finishes his incantation and blasts her with the restorative energy intended to rid her of the Netherrealm's corruption.
"I pray that worked."

Serenity smiles "I don't think so" (like raiden in the 1990s mortal kombat live action movie )

She rises her arm again for the final blow..

Serenity raises her arm,but is suddenly stopped,unable to move.
Ekibyogami smiles. "By giving up your thoughts of our time together,you forgot one thing,Marek was not the only one to give you a gift"

Marek teleports betwee Serenity and Ekibyogami. "I won't let you kill him, Serenity. I know that somewhere inside you is the kind hearted Goddess that I love. You must fight it, Serenity. I know you can. And if I'm wrong, kill me. I don't care what happens to me."

"I've got it covered already Marek,sit this out we will need you later"

Serenity grabs Marek by the throat lifting him up and throws him off to the side.

Now looking to Ekibyogami "What do you mean? The locust?"

Before Marek can respond, a spear stabs him in the shoulder and pulls him through a portal. Reappearing in the Netherream, Marek growls in anger. "This day just keeps getting more confusing and frustrating by the minute."

"Damn hoped to avoid getting him involved"
He sighed.
"Yes the locust,as you may recall i gave it to you for protection. I designed a powerful disease,which I placed on the locust,in case you needed help. The locust would deliver it to the offending attacker."
" I never imagined that it would need to be used on you"
Serenity's body starts to spasm before it stiffens,leaving her unable to move.
"I'll admit,without it you would have killed me,but I guess some things you can't predict."
Serenity's grip on time slipped,allowing Ekibyogami to escape.
He proceeds to walk up to the time goddess.

"We are going to get you help"

i was going to make the final strike, marek comes in between, i toss him aside, then as he gets up a spear strikes him, i look at ekibyogami and he says his thing and THEN im frozen

Looking up at Ekibyogami, all Serenity can do is blink..

(I guess,it was originally you were frozen for the final strike,but i figured it would be easier to allow his part. You throw your strike,he gets involved,i tell him to step aside,you throw him to the side,and are frozen before you can go after me.)

Serenity looks at Ekibyogami with fire in her eyes..

Ekibyogami can feel her anger..

"Great Marek is gone now, fine"
She would be paralyzed until he released the disease. He picks her up and starts walking to Nightwolf,they would help Marek later.He had to prioritize.
"You know it would help if you started doing some soul searching or something,it might speed this along."

(I didn't know about the choreography, but I'd say it works as it is lol)

Marek gets up and brushes the dirt off his robes when a dark figure strikes him from behind. Looking up, Marek sees Scorpion and two dark figures, both whci merged together. "I see you made yourself a new friend, specter. Care to introduce us?" The dark figure steps forward. Marek can't help but think that the Wraith looks familiar when he speaks. "I am Noob Saibot of the Brotherhood of Shadow, and I will be your executioner." Marek stands up and prepares to fight the two undead warriors. "Why the hell can't I catch a break?"

Serenity rolls her eyes..

But inside her there is a war raging..

Snake appears behind Ekibyogami, Nightwolf spots him. "Stop right there!" shouts Snake.

Snake falls to the ground and appears next to Ekibyogami. He punches him up into the air, and grabs Serenity from his grasp. "She is ours now." Snake prepares for battle.

"Fine take her,Nightwolf let's talk"

Ekibyogami had only been carrying a locusts made clone of Serenity,hopefully he won't figure it out. But even if he did,only Ekibyogami could get to Serenity's location,and there was two of them and only one of him. He would have to wait his turn.

(just gotta say the last three pages were golden lol. Awesome fight scene as you guys were actually up against each other. I kinda wish Ekibyogami had gone on further, really like his abilities. Next time tho. that is alll

"It seems you misheard me." Behind him steps out Kia and Jataaka from a summoned portal. "She is ours now. I will stop you right here Ekibyogami, I do not fear gods!"

Marek battles the tag team of Scorpion and Noob Saibot in the Netherrealm, proving himself successful in combating the Specter and Wraith. Standing above them sprawled on the molten terrain, Marek regains his composure. "If only I could kill you both, but you're practically immortal as it stands." Marek hears clapping behind him and turns around, seeing the necromancer Quan Chi walking towards him. "Well done, sorcerer. But I should expect no less of the skill Shang Tsung's servant." Marek huffs and preapres for battle. "You will pay for what you have done to Serenity, foul demon!"

While the others are busy fighting, Okorik has silently watched the entire match in the shadows. "So Serenity has lost. I will not allow that plague god to get rid of one of our servants," said Okorik with fervor. In an instant, he leaped from the shadows and spat out a few balls of black flame around Serenity's body. During this distraction, Okorik manages to lift Serenity's body from the ground and open a portal to the Netherrealm. Before they leave, Okorik laughs and says, "This is where we part ways Plague God. Before I go, tell Marek that Shang Tsung wasn't the only responsible party in Serenity's death." With a laugh, he goes through the portal.

"Why do you not attack me, sorcerer?"

"Why would I when I have the Brotherhood of Shadow to do that for me?"

Quan Chi laughs as dozens of wraiths surround Marek.

"You are doomed to become my slave, shadow priest."

Quan Chi continues to laugh, but to his astonishment, Marek laughs too.

"What is so funny?"

"Did you really think I wouldn't be prepared for the Netherrealm after my last visit here?"

Marek erupts into fire, annihilating all of the wraiths, then rushes forward and grabs Quan Chi by the throat.

"I learned this trick from Shang Tsung."

Taking his free hand, Marek drains a piece of Quan Chi's soul before slamming against a rock.

"There. Now I have a portion of your powers, Necromancer."

Marek waves his hand and opens aportal. Before stepping through, he turns to face Quan Chi again.

"Consider this only warning. Send any of your minions after me and my friends again....And they will become my undead slaves."

Marek steps through the portal, leaving the Netherrealm and a recovering Quan Chi behind.
