Marek holds Serenity back. "Wait, something is here."

"I dunno,I smell burning,that usually means Raiden's winning,this way"

Ekibyogami proceeds to walk to the smell.

Serenity removes Marek's hand away from her and follows Ekibyogami.

"Im sure i can handle it"

"Serenity, Lord Ekibyogami, wait!" Marek runs forward to pull them back just a pair of three pronged sai shoot out from the forest and strike him in the back, knocking him down.

Ekibyogami turns around and finds Marek knocked on his back.

"Fine we will kick someone else's butt"

"Ekibyogami do you want to handle our assailant as i tend to his wound?"

"Fine but feel free to throw a time orb or something when you get the chance"

Marek screams in pain and reaches for his back, pulling the sais out. "I have faced and defeated the sorcere Quan Chi, I will not be felled by mere trinkets!" Throwing both sais against a tree, Marek struggles to his feet and gets kicked in the face a pink thigh high boot. Slamming into the side of a living tree, barely missing it's gaping jaws, Marek sees his atatcker in full, a dark haired woman dressed in very little pink clothing with a mask covering her mouth, which for some strange reason sounds like it is growling like a savage animal. "You... You look just like princess Kitana! Who are you?"

"Oh crud, Kitana has digivolved into Slutty Kitana,where is a angelmon when you need him?"

"Oops." Marek gets attacked before she hand a chance to heal him.

"Ekibyogami, cover us while i try to heal Marek"

Serenity runs towards him as a rolling pink ball knocks her off her feet.

A pink boot falls on Serenity's chest

"I am mileena, and you are my new play things"

"Get OFF!" Serenity tries to kick Mileena off but to her surprise she transports away..

It had been a long time since Yaray had given into some old fashion, simple chaos. For some reason, the bulky warrior that he had seen before was obsessed with the helmet that was sitting upon the straw effigy in the wastes of Outworld.

The warrior, who name was apparently 'Reiko', had some affinity for this particular piece of headgear. One of his attacks even channeled the shape of the helmet, which Yaray understood was a duplicate of the on that the Conqueror Shao Kahn wore.

The match between Reiko and the blind swordsman was abruptly interrupted as the bulky warrior saw the helmet. He flew into a intense rage and immediately took off to get the headgear.

Yaray could of just thrown it at Reiko or fought him over it but he felt it would be more fun to play a game of keep-away.

Among a reverie of 'boos' and some other onlookers chasing him, Yaray fled to the forest and climbed atop the living trees. They growled at him as he jumped from tree.

"So she isn't slutty Kitana? Whatever, i never really liked royalty anyway,have at thee!"

"Show yourself, Mileena! I will crush you!" As Marek searches the trees for movement, Mileena jumps down from a branch and lands on top of him, wrapping her legs around his waist and pulliing off her mask, revealing two rows of razor sharp teeth. "Mmmm, dinner time!!" Mileena shrieks and bites into Marek's neck, spraying blood on the trees and rotting grass. Marek screams in agony as he tries to push her off.

Serenity runs at the screaming Marek not being noticed by the hungry warrior as she draws closer and closer.

Serenity throws a punch hitting the monster in the temple sending her off flying.

"Marek are you ok???"

Marek tries and fails to speak, blood spilling rapidly from his torn throat. Marek begins to shake and convulse. "I...I have lost sight of everything. I failed, Serenity. I...I feel cold."

Ekibyogami finally stops musing and grabs the assailant out of the air,holding her by the hair as she struggles.
"She really thinks she can beat the three of us doesn't she.....Ahhhh she bit me!"
Shaking her off he shoves her head through the trunk of one of the trees.
"She should be out for a bit,also does this look infected to you?"

He then sees Marek.
"Are you okay,Jeez can you help him serenity?"

"Dont say that.. youll be ok.." Applying pressure to his wound she franticly she looks around "Ekibyogami what do i do?? i dont think my powers can heal this wound!"

"I don't know,you do the healing,wait i have an idea"

Touching Marek's throat he spreads a "cancer" over his throat,the rapid tissue growth covering the wound and the hole in his veins.

"We should hurry him to someone who can help,or the cure will be worse than the injury."

Finally able to think straight she give a sigh of relieve..

"No. No i can do THIS. I can speed tissue growth so im sure i can reverse it to a safer degree."

She holds Marek's throat with her hand. Her hand begins to glow, as she concentrates on saving his life.

FInally finished she removed her hand and waited to see if he was ok..

"The cancer is gone but let's see how he is doing"

His throat healed by the locusts, Marek musters the strength to stand up and blast Mileena with a fireball, sending her flying into a river, sweeping her away from the trio. Marek collapses back into Serenity's arms.

(What locusts lol)

"Keep an eye on him,the tissue may still rip easily. I'm surprised she was able to get up"

"I see Raiden coming,I will make a meeting,then we will go somewhere safe to heal him,then we will meet up with them."

(You know, your magical healing locust lol)

"Ok" She places Marek back on the floor.

"I thought i was strong enough to heal you.."

Marek feels his forehead and discovers the runes are gone. Removing a glove, he sees that his skin is no longer pale. "I-I no longer have the powers I siphoned from Quan Chi, I am normal once again."

"And what is wrong with that? You were better without his powers"

"To be fair you may not want something that belonged to him,he may have let you have the power with some trap involved"

He proceeds to talk to Raiden,making plans to meet up later. Smoke also informs him of a cave he came across which may be a good place to rest.
