"Very well, Deon. I'm ready. Do it."

Deon places the hatchling on Marek's robes and pulls out his magic wand, then begins chanting in French as he points his wand at Marek. Marek's face and clothing begins to change into the attire and appearence of a Seidan guard Deon had seen on his journey to Seido.

"Not too shabby, you'll blend in just fine Marek." Deon cautioned "There is a catch to this spell, it will only last for 5 hours, so you must make haste."

Okorik is waiting in Seido, head still in pain when he hears news from Skyward that the warriors are using the hatchling to sneak into Seido. Okorik laughs and says, "Those warriors think they can actually control the hatchling?! They may as well try to control the entire Netherrealm for all the good that will do! Most know that you can never purify pure Netherrealm taint like in hatchling. While it was weakened, it was secretly regenerating by leeching off Dean's energy and he never noticed this! Your spawn are devious Skyward. Now when they try to sneak into Seido, we'll return the hatchling and remove the disguise!" Okorik chuckled at the plan but held his skull as the headache continued.

As Akari is escaping from the back of the Emperor's castle a bleeding mess from his close encounter with Mileena he mutters to himself "How dare that warmonger make a flawed psychotic replica of the princess! Both he and his so called daughter will pay for their crimes in time but now I must figure out what I should do." Eventually Akari makes his way to a war torn landscape where he sees the corpse of an unknown warrior in white. He takes the clothes from the deceased warrior and makes his current slave rags into makeshift wraps. Before he sets out he tries to use magic to heal the wounds the best he could, but the scars remained permanent marks on his body. As he sets out on his journey he thinks to himself "There's no chance I could handle his forces alone, I have to gather up a team and search for remaining survivors before I should even hope to start striking back!"

"You should not have used the hatchling, Deon. We still do not know how to control it."

Serenity watches Marek chase after the two Seidan guards.

"This is a mistake.."

Right as Marek is about to enter Seido, another portal appears before and someone grabs him and pulls him through. Moments later, Marek finds himself in a familiar and iwisted landscape. "The chaosrealm, great." Looking up, Marek sees the warrior from the Living Forest preparing to fight him. "Yaray...So, I was correct. we are fated to duel." Marek quickly stands up and prepares to fight Yaray.

After hours of walking through Outworld ruins and battlefields, Akari eventually reaches a poor, disheveled town where he notices something odd. On one of the houses he sees a drawn picture of himself as a war prisoner and below it reads "This man is the Princess of Outworld's personal slave and playmate. If he is brought before the Emperor and his daughter you will be paid his weight in gold!" Akari mutters to himself "I am no one's personal chew toy, but I've got to get out of here fast if they have already begun to search for me."

Before he leaves, a random Tarkatan yells "You there! The one with the scarf!" As Akari turns around he thinks to himself "This cannot go well." The Tarkatan begins to look around all over at him and then says "No, you aren't that guy in the picture you are way too scarred and rugged. That guy looks soft and stuck up, and you are both wearing different outfits." As the Tarkatan footsoldier marches off, Akari thinks to himself "Thank the Elder Gods that the picture was illustrated before she had her way with me!"

Deon sees Marek pulled through a portal, "I can let that hatchling die and we can find another way, I'm sure Okorik has found some means to counter our efforts." Deon tries to sense Marek's presence, "We will have to bring Marek back here, someone pulled him into the Chaosrealm instead of Seido."

Deon glances at Serenity, "This means we have a chance to regroup and rethink our strategy and perhaps disgrad the hatchling."

Marek crawls across the barren landscape of the Chaosrealm, trying to get away from Yaray. "I cannot believe that I am about to die."

"Yes kill the hatchling and lets find Marek. I fear for his safety.. Can you make a portal to chaosrealm?"

The hatchling soon gave the data on the fight to Okorik. "So Marek is most likely weakened and will probably die. Knowing his friends, they'll find some way to heal him. Hatchling, return to us!" The hatchling received the word and dislodged itself from Marek's outfit, turning him back into the Marek as the hatchling flew into a portal and back into Okorik's hand. The hatchling soon returned to Skyward and became one with him. Okorik received information the hatchling learned from its imprisonment and said, "So we know the powers of Dean based on the energy the hatchling absorbed and the plans the warriors made based on the speech they made during captivity. I'm angry with you about what they did to your hatchling but we'll get them soon enough." Just then, the headaches returned. Okorik keeled over in pain from his headache, unable to move when he noticed the 2 Guardsmen returning. Okorik recognized them as the 2 killed by the warriors. He knew they could ruin the plan but he was too racked with pain to do anything. Okorik sent Skyward to monitor the Guardsmen and try to stop them if they interfered with Hotaru.

Skyward followed the Guardsmen to the base. Hotaru greeted the Guardsmen who said their tale on how Okorik was lying to Hotaru. Hotaru looked with shock and then anger at the Guardsmen. Before Skyward could interfere, Hotaru let out a giant yell as he said, "Do you honestly expect me to believe that?! I have proof that these warriors you claim are innocent are responsible for the bombing. I have proof they killed Guardsmen and yet you claim to be here and be those same guards?! Then tell me where the rifle is." The Guardsmen nervously replied, "We... lost it." Hotaru looked in anger and said, "So you make up this story and don't know where the rifle I gave those Guardsmen is. A true Guardsmen would never lose such valuable technology or make up stories to disrupt the order we have with our allies. I may not support the Netherrealm's assistance of Kahn's chaotic reign but they have proven themselves an orderly realm to aid us when the time called. I can clearly see this time goddess clearly infected your head with lies in order to spread chaos among the Guardsmen. There can only be one reward for helping terrorists." Hotaru placed his hands on the helmets of both guards. Their helmets soon glowed red and white as the Guardsmen screamed in pain. Their cries stopped as their heads exploded, leaving only lava dripping from where their heads used to be. Skyward returned to Okorik and informed him of this development. He chuckled and said, "Looks like their plan to turn Seido against us failed miserably. Now if only this headache was gone and I could move again."

Marek musters the strength to teleport and reappears, falling from midair and collapsing into Serenity and Deon. "That was a most horrificly painful experience."

In the dusty nearly ruined town, Akari came across an odd looking tavern. As he walked over to the entrance he thought to himself "Maybe I can get some information here." As he walked inside the first things he saw were a table of gruff looking footsoldiers and a shady looking barkeep. When he walks up to the barkeep he asks "What is the Emperor's latest conquest?" the barkeep replies "Well that so called Edenian Resistance has finally been brought to justice." Akari curiously asks back "How did they fall?".

The barkeep then says "The fun part is that one of their own sold them out to the Emperor." Akari angrily says "That snake should be hung and gutted for his treachery." The barkeep then says "I actually agree with you right there, can you believe that Kahn allowed him to become a general!" Akari then exclaims "Does karma or justice even exist in these realms anymore? Also what of the Emperor's daughter? I haven't even heard of her until recent."

A drunken soldier walks over and yells "What are you, stupid! She's the most beautiful maiden in the realms! I'd give anything for a night with her." Akari says back "That's not I what I heard, I was told that she is just as bloodthirsty as her father." The barkeep then starts examining Akari and yells out "Your that guy on the picture the princess wants back!" The footsoldiers simultaneously get up and surround Akari. Akari then thinks "I shouldn't have came in here."

Deon closes his eyes and locks onto the hatchling's wavelength and obliterates it as it crawls away from Marek, "That should do it., Okorik must forever be attached to those things and I can't perform a shapeshfting spell without the DNA of the chosen person to morph into and I suspect since Okroik is onto us that such an option is no longer advisable".


Deon and Serenity are knocked down by Marek falling on them from above.





"Oww....nice to see you're in one piece Marek." Deon helps Serenity up, "Good news is we don't have to go on a trek through Chaosrealm." Deon fixes his wristbands, "we need to find this mysterious warrior you all mentioned."

Okorik laughs as the hatchling already inside Skyward gave him the information that the warrior called Dean could most likely use magic to destroy the hatchling. That is why he used Skyward to sent the energy Dean had into a nearby twig in order to trick any long range magic into thinking it was the hatchling. Just as planned, the twig exploded with a small boom. "So the plan worked. That Dean fellow is mysterious in his ways. He may think the hatchling is dead but he is dead wrong. The hatchling told us that his energy resembles that of a group called the Order of the Finch. An intriguing discovery. I must now return the Netherrealm to recover and get some new goals from Quan Chi." In a few minutes, Okorik crawled to the ground and opened a portal to the Netherrealm. Once there the headache was gone. "Now for inform Quan Chi."

Stepping into the Netherrealm, Okorik could feel the Netherrealm taint invigorate him and remove his headache. Okorik saw Quan Chi and said, "Master, I have ensure the warriors won't turn our allies against us but a new warrior named Dean from the Order of the Finch is proving to be quite bothersome. What would you recommend doing?" Quan Chi replied, "The Order of the Finch is a particularly bothersome group who fought against us. The last time Shinnok fought them, he annihilated most of the group but I suspected a few of them managed to survive. Despite their strength and abilities, they are still a small group and thus only have one base which will remove the Order if it is gone. I have gone through the information received from the infected spy and he seems to know the base of the Order. They are suspicious but are not entirely threatened. We can catch them off-guard and thus destroy them all. I have business in Outworld and can't accompany you but I can give new abilities to your bird." Quan Chi called Skyward who flew into his hands. Quan Chi turned his back and glowed with mystical energy. Skyward shrieked for a few minutes and then stopped. When Quan Chi turned back, a warrior draped in a obsidian black trenchcoat, black armor on his that shined brightly on his chest and legs, markings like wings on his arms, long sharp talon-like hands which were needle-like and dripping with black liquid, feet with slender needle-like talons, and a face resembling a man with blood-red eyes, no hair, no ears, and a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth. Quan Chi said, "I made some modifications to your bird. He is now more powerful and can gain information a person knows if he gets their blood on him. In addition, he can infect enemies with Netherrealm taint if he scratches them along with gaining some of their powers which will make him indistiguishable from the original in a disguise. Note that the powers will only last an hour." Skyward, in his new form, walked towards Okorik and said, "You are my master. I live to serve the master. Your will is my will. I will slaughter the warriors for torturing my hatchlings!" Okorik looked at Skyward and said, "Don't worry, we'll get them soon enough. Your new powers and form will prove useful in the coming battle but first we must gather forces for the attack on the Order of the Finch." Quan Chi heard this and said to go to the Lin Kuei temple where the Grandmaster had a special surprise for him. Opening a portal, Okorik and Skyward returned to the frozen wastes of the Lin Kuei Temple.

The duo were greeted and walked through the temple into the throneroom of the Grandmaster. The GM greeted the duo and said, "Welcome back Okorik. You seem to have a new friend. Regardless, I heard you are going to destroy one of our rival clans. I am glad to see this alliance working in our favor. To help ensure your victory and to give something of ours a field test, I'm allowing you to use our newest Cyborg." The Grandmaster snapped his fingers and a blue cyborg emerged from the shadows. The cyborg looked at Okorik and said, "I am Sub-Zero. I will assist you in any way possible." The Grandmaster chuckled and said, "You see how loyal he is. He's nothing like the deserter he was before. I'm not sure of how he works in combat so I'm allowing you to use him in your fight. Don't worry about destroying him since he'll return if he's too damaged." Okorik bowed and said, "Thank you. We will not fail you." The Grandmaster bowed as well and brought the spy over to the trio. Okorik used the hatchling in the spy to gather information of the Order including all their strenghts, weaknesses, and location. He knew the Order got suspicious and is in hiding in their HQ but killing all the members there will destroy the Order once and for all." Okorik soon opened a portal and the trio left through it. In a flash, they emerged at the gates of the main base of the Order of the Finch. Now the slaughter and destruction of the Order can begin.

The soldiers were 3 in number and of standard rank, nothing notably special. Though their senses were blurred from previous drinking they had full intentions of dragging Akari back to the castle. One of them dashes up and tries to deliver a rather clumsy looking punch. Akari effortlessly dodges it and counters with a straight right, the soldier immediately falls to the floor with blood pouring out of his nose like a fountain. As the soldiers glare in his direction he calmly says "Could you lot try this another time when your at peak condition, I'd feel terrible for hitting children." In response the three soldiers draw their swords. Akari sees this and exclaims "If you are now fighting with the intent to kill, then please don't cry while I do the same." One soldier rushes foward and attempts to slash while Akari teleports behind him and delivers a palm strike to the back of his skull. As he does this a burst of light shoots from his palm and blasts a bloody hole through the victims head. The other 2 look onward in shock as the corpse falls to the floor.
The second one tries to slash at Akari and as he does Akari teleports again. The soldiers look around in the room in a burning rage while one yells "Come out coward!" Akari then reappears a few feet above one and delivers an axe kick and crushes the skull of the soldier. As the soldier falls unconscious Akari reaches down and snaps his neck just to be sure. The last one tries to make a break for the door and Akari cuts him off and says " I cannot have you alerting anyone of what you just had seen here." He then does a horizontal chop at the third soldiers throat and a thin beam of light seeps out from his hand as he does it. Suddenly the soldiers head slides off as blood profusely spurts forth. As Akari walks out he says to the barkeep "Please keep your mouth shut about what you saw or I may come back and shut it permanently."

It happened in a flash. Skyward kicks the great gate open. Some soldiers near the gate are knocked back by the tremendous force. They gather their swords and magic to fight back but Skyward launches his hatchlings into the mouths of the soldiers. They scream in pain but then stand up. Okorik yells, "Now that you are one of us, where can we find the others?" The soldiers point to a hidden temple. The group then kicks the door to the temple open. Now to find the Order of the Finch and slaughter them all.

Wait.....hold up one second. For starters, I can't touch Okorik in any capacity, anything Deon does is canceled out completely,

Second,I can't even advance my plot by using a hatchling, I let your character kill my spy, but the entire Order? . I already see where this is going.

Three, the Order of the Finch isn't killed during this time in the story and plus you're destroying any possible plot points for my character that I was planning, they aren't killed until Quan Chi and Shinnok rise and begin their attacks on Earth and Outworld, which doesn't happen until much ater MK3, we're still in MK2. .

Four I said several pages ago that the Order went into hiding, the spy knew nothing of this move as the Order was suspicious of him.



I'm not mad, just letting you know...

Okorik entered the building and searched for the Order but found no one there. It seems the guards posted there were just a distraction. "No matter, it seems that they'll show up when the time comes so Chaosrealm and Seido can deal with the Order. For now we must ensure they have no home. Burn this place to the ground and destroy their home and legacy!" The trio lit torches and set fire the base. The fire completely engulfed the base, destroying any knowledge hidden there. "Regardless of whether or not they are here, no base means they are nomads now. Nomads with no knowledge are easier prey than together at home. These soldiers may prove useful. Now we must ensure this Dean is eliminated. I believe he is still in Outworld. Place some hatchlings here to impersonate his fellow Order members and have scour from the skies to find him. Once you do, have the soldiers trick Dean into following them here where we will ambush them." Skyward replied, "Excellent plan master, I will do as told." Skyward laid his hatchlings which took the forms of Dean's order members. Skyward and the soldiers walked through a portal and where he flew into the sky to scour for Dean. (Better? Sorry that I'm a little overpowered but there are close to 4-5 heroes here and I'm practically the only villian in this entire thread so I have to compensate a bit to be equal to 5 heroes. Sorry that I did that but hopefully this new plan makes it better.)

Skyward flew over the forest, searching for Dean; He wondered, "My master told me to search for Dean, but where is Dean?"

The forest around Krustacean was strange. The trees seemed to have morbid faces, always watching him. The developement of his shapeshifting spell, to make him appear as a terrestrial man, had taken too long. He'd missed the tournament on Shang Tsung's island. There was word of another tournament, though, here in, what was it called? Ootwhirled? It doesn't matter. Glory for the Krabs would be received now. It had to be. His not so silent contemplation was broken, however, by the sound of conversation not far from him. Adopting a low stance and oblivious to his own emanations of the faint smell of low tide, Krustacean attempted to approach the sounds of voices as stealthily as possible... Edit: Unless no one's in the Living Forest, then I'll come up with a different reintroduction

Seeing as how this thread is basically dead already, I've decided to take over and take command of the main characters. Any new additions still retain control of their characters whereas I will act like the main characters. Don't worry since I won't kill anyone or have Okorik be god-tier. Anything except that can happen here. If anyone wants their character back, just say so. Now I'll begin:


Skyward searched the area until he discovered Dean and the rest talking to each other. Silent as the wind, Skyward hid in the darkness and told his hatchlings to go to them. The hatchlings went to Dean, injured, and yelled, "Dean, we've found you. We need you to come with us. Okorik has discovered the location of all our members and is executing them as we speak. We barely survived and need your help to rescue as many as we can!"

Dean looked at the lost Finch warriors and asked the password. He knew the hatchlings could never know the real password like with the spy. To his shock, they answered correctly. Maybe they were telling the truth but something made him on edge. "Well friends, it looks like I have to go rescue my fellows. I'll try to return to you shortly." The Order warriors opened a portal and Dean walked through it and saw the raging inferno of the temple and the severed remains of the Order members.
