Serenity stood looking anxious as Dean left. Marek said, "You look worried Serenity. Is something wrong?" Serenity replied, "Something was off about those warriors. I wouldn't have noticed if not for that strange aura I sensed. I know this aura." "Oh? I also noticed it." "That aura also came from the hatchling and the old man. I think those warriors are hatchlings." Marek looked surprised and said, "If what you say is true, then Okorik will most likely kill Dean unless we stop it." Serenity replied, "I agree. Quickly Marek, we must save Dean." Marek opened a portal and went through to the flaming ruin of the Finch temple.

I've been busy attending funerals and stuff, which is why I haven't been posting, I'll take Deon's reigns my good sir.






Deon looks around and senses new energy in Outworld, "Does anyone else feel that?" Deon looks deeper into the forest, "something is coming, everyone stay on full alert."

The warriors emerge from the forest, skin filled with bruises and burn marks. One, mouth caked in blood, managed to say, "Dean, they've found us. I think we've got a spy amongst us. It seems that the one known as Okorik managed to infect one of our own and spread his taint among the Order. Half of us are already dead and the rest are being taken to our HQ to be executed or converted into vectors for those damn hatchlings. I can still hear the fire burning as our knowledge and legacy are being burned away. Dean please, save them or at the least put them out of their misery." The warriors fell to their knees in front of Dean.

Serenity looks at Deon as one of his warriors fell down dead.

"Deon... are you alright?"

"I am fine, thanks Serenity." Deon looks to the dying, he becomes deeply sad, "There's nothing I can do to save them, my healing powers have been drained considerably.

Deon looks at Serenity, "the one silver lining is that the vast majority of the order is okay, they've placed a ward up over themselves, insuring that not even I can ascertain their location despite my neurological abilities."

Deon performs the necessary quick burial rituals and then turns to Marek and Serenity, "It is in our best interest to leave at once, Okorik is forimidable indeed, but he will pay for this treachery, but he will have to wait as Earthrealm is still in grave danger with or without Okorik's murderous deeds. Perhaps it would be best to provide aid to Earthrealm, the tournament is winding down, I can fight for the realm, though I know Marek cannot and as a goddess, you must have your doubts or desire to remain neutral..." Deon trails off as he looks at Marek and Serenity.

Okorik hears everything Deon says from the hatchling infected soldiers. "Damn it! I was hoping he would follow this ambush. I was wrong. At least burning this place to the ground will hinder their efforts are regrouping for a while." Skyward nodded at what Okorik said when Skyward received a message from Quan Chi. The message said, "Okorik, I am disappointed the Order wasn't there but I expected as much. At least burning their headquarters will destroy their legacy and hopes of training new members. This is not why I called you. The Guardsmen have assassinated a few Earthrealmers and Chaosrealm is proving itself invaluable in the tournament but it seems your skills are needed once more. The ones known as Liu Kang and Kung Lao are busy trying to rescue Princess Kitana who I believe has defected to their side. Noob Saibot has been sent to deal with them. You and Skyward will go the Coliseum and fight for Outworld against the remaining warriors, especially the one called Smoke who may prove troublesome with our Lin Kuei allies. Bring the cyborg if you must but hurry to the Coliseum. Don't fail me Okorik." The message ended which was answered with a bow from Okorik who said, "I will not fail you master. It seems we are going to Outworld to win for Outworld and deal with some troublesome warriors. Think you both can handle it?" Skyward and Sub-Zero nodded in response. Skyward opened a portal into Outworld. As the trio go through the portal, Okorik senses something is wrong. "What is going on," asked Okorik. Skyward replied, "It seems our portal has been intercepted by someone else. I don't know where we are going." The trio braced themselves for impact as they crashed into the floor of a mysterious dungeon. Okorik recognizes this as the bottom of the Coliseum. He laughs while saying, "It seems our interlopers have helped us in some way." Just then, Okorik blocked a magic blast with his sword. He saw as a group of 3 Order of the Finch warriors and several monks stepped in front of the trio. The leader of the group said, "Monsters! We know that you burned our temple, our home, to the ground. I care not that I must hide if only to bring you to justice! Even if I lose, know that magical forces will prevent you from knowing the locations of my brothers! These monks join me to avenge the fallen you helped kill." Okorik laughs maniacally at this. "Looks like I'll have an appetizer to the main course. Are you ready to test your new skills Skyward and Sub-zero?" The 2 nodded in agreement which allowed the trio to charge in battle against the Earthrealm warriors.

(Sorry UNdiscovered but you need to have a created character in the recent tournament to join but i could be wrong so idk..)


Serenity looks at the Deon as he is walking away.

Turning to Marek, she sighs "he is right we have to get back to the tournament. We have deviated from it for a long time and we must return"

The trio leap at the would-be assassins. Sub-Zero throws a few ice bombs at the monks which explode and freeze them solid. Sub-zero jumps between the frozen monks and delivers a swift array of kicks which completely shatter the monks into pieces.

A Finch warrior throws a magical blast at Sub-Zero. The blast knocks him off his feet. As the Finch prepares to land a killing blow, Skyward scratches the Finch and leaves huge gashes on his arms. "Brother! Don't worry, we'll help you," said another Finch warrior. The Finch throws an energy star at Skyward who responds by deflecting the blast with a similar blast from claws drenched in blood. "No matter what magic you have demon, you'll never have our experience and determination!" As the Finch and Skyward continued to deflect each others blasts, Okorik emerged from behind and sliced the Finch in two halves. As the chunks fell down, Okorik laughed and said, "First rule of combat: never turn your back when facing multiple opponents."

The third Finch cried, "Brother! You demons will pay for killing our bretheren!" As the wounded Finch hid crawled behind the leader, Sub-Zero rose up and froze the leader. He quickly escaped and launched energy at Sub-zero which was deflected by Okorik's sword. "Behind you," yelled the wounded Finch but it was too late; Skyward emerged behind the leader and stabbed his claws into the leader's backside. Skyward turned his claws into spikes and shot them thought the leader's entire body. When finished, the leader's eyes turned cried tears of blood as his body was filled to the brim with black spikes which resembled a human cactus. "And then there was one," said Okorik upon looking at the wounded Finch trying to crawl away feebly.

"You may kill me but the Order of the Finch will live on and make you pay for this crime!" Okorik laughed at this and said, "No one is here to rescue you. You home is gone and sooner or later the veil protecting your Order will be gone and they will be as dead as you." Okorik, Skyward, and Sub-Zero raised their feet and stomped the Finch's skull into mush. They brutalized the body until every bone was broken and the body resembled a broken, bloody doll. Okorik looked at the fallen Finch warriors and said, "There is no greater insult or way to break someone's spirit than to desecrate the bodies of their brothers. Sub-Zero, make ice spikes to impale them so that everyone, especially Deon and those warriors will learn what happens when you interfere with the Netherrealm." As ordered, Sub-zero created 3 ice spikes and impaled the 3 remains of the Finch warriors on the spikes at the front of the Coliseum. There everyone would know what the Netherrealm had done and Deon would learn the greatest insult against his brothers.

Okorik laughed in contentment at this scene, knowing how much of an insult and desecration is was to the Order of the Finch. As the trio prepared to enter the Coliseum, Sub-zero suddenly malfunctioned and screamed while holding his head. When he was done, Sub-Zero looked at Okorik and said, "I will never serve you demon!" Before he could act, electricity surged through Sub-Zero and rendered him unconscious. Suddenly, the voice of the Grandmaster emerged from Sub-Zero and said, "Forgive me for allowing this to happen but it was better for it to be discovered now than deal with it later. I thank you for the test run and will ensure you will be partners with him soon enough. Now to improve the slaving protocols." Sub-Zero's body was soon teleported away to the Lin Kuei temple. The duo, undeterred, continued onward into the Coliseum.

"Tournament? Colliseum? These three will be the perfect chance for me to prove my worht!" Krustacean leapt from hiding to confront the trio of kombatants.
"Now, Terra-loved fleshbags, I challenge you any of you who feels worthy to Mortal Kombat!"

"Fleshbags?" Serenity and Marek looked at each other confused at this opponent.

"Do you really want to fight us, Warrior?"

Serenity's eyes begin to glow as her ring blade materializes in her hand.

"Well?"

Deon looks on intensely as the Krab like creature takes on its true form, "Leader of Moonlantis? I didn't realize we were entertaining royalty.." Deon clenches his fists and gets into his fighting stance, "We have no time to play with you, stance aside."

Krustacean lashes out at Serenity and Deon, but they jump back.

Deon says slightly annoyed, "You're making a big mistake."

"Moonlatis? Truly an odd one you are"

Serenity looks at Deon, "One on one or two against one?"

Okorik and Skyward enter through the gates and encounter a large monster guarding a door. "Ah, you're here. Quan Chi told me about you two. Your matches won't begin for a while. In the meantime, have a seat in the Coliseum and enjoy the show," said the demon who led the duo to a flight of stairs. The duo emerged to a crowd of Outworlders cheering as an Outworld warrior dismembers a human. The pair find some empty seats and sit down. "What will we do until our matches," asked Skyward. Okorik replied, "We sit and watch the show. Maybe we'll get a glimpse into our opponent's abilities."

"Two against one, of course," Krustacean was taken aback by the ease with which the manling had evaded his attack, "Of course, I won't simply be testing your reflexes as I did with that prior, MOCK, attack." 'Yes,' thought Krustacean, 'Mock attack. Of course I could never truly miss against a ground dweller. I must have been subconsciously trying to simply miss.'

"As you wish"

Serenity runs at the krab with her great speed, throwing multiply punches at him.

Khaali leans against one of the rough, black trees, observing the crab-like warrior and his opponent go at it, a smile on her grey-skinned face. She licks her lips and rubs at one of her many bruises.

At the beginning of the tournament Khaali had been draped in skins and jewelry, trophies from a dozen former battles, now she wore nothing, not even a necklace. Her bare body bearing a myriad of bruises and a few nasty scars from her battle with Ravyn.

Still, she stands tall, her slender arms crossed over chest and stomach, and watches the wild crab go.

"How...ever did I lose?" She whispers to herself.

Krustacean almost instantly crumpled under the woman's assault.
"How...can this be?"

Deon marvels at Serenity's impressive assault, "It appears your arrogance has proven to be to your detriment, your highness."







Deon closes his eyes and picks up on the life energy emanating from the forest, he can sense the creature is injured.

"Serenity, Marek, we are being watched." Deon points to the massive figure, her details indistinguishable from this distance, only her piercing yellow eyes can be seen clearly, "Who are you? Do you require aid?"

Khaali hisses with what could be laughter, tough to tell in her husky voice. Her whiskers twitch. One claw resting on the tree to her side, she leans towards them. Her black hair falling all around her in long dreadlocks.

"And what aid could you offer, little one?" She spits out a few drops of blood.

Okorik and Skyward watched the crowds cheer as an Outworlder decapitates someone and throws their head at the crowd who then tear it into pieces. "Let's see the match-ups," said Okorik upon reading a pamphlet given to him by the guard. He checked it and said, "Interesting. It seems the ones called Deon, Serenity, and Marek are competing in this tournament as well. So long as we can see their abilities, we'll be able to learn their weaknesses and true powers. If not, they'll be disqualified and Earthrealm is one step closer to being conquered. Any moment now."

Deon sees the full figure of a greyish female Shokan, she is bare wearing nothing, "My word a....Shokan? You all don't normally patrol these parts of Outworld.,,," Deon raises his hands out his palms showing, "Based on your...interesting appearence, you're a free agent, not working for Shao Kahn am I right?"

Deon slowly and cautiously approaches the colossal female Shokan, " If I am, I can use my magic to heal your wounds as my powers have finally returned in full."

Deon looks away, feeling uncomfortable with her appearence, "Perhaps I can get you some clothes too."

"I don't believe I know meanings of either of those words..." Krustacean stood, on shaky legs, and rubbed the growing sore spot on his head. "Now, who's this Shao Kahn you mentioned?"

@lurker sorry but Serenity cant participate in the tourney shes a goddess and has to be directly challenged and Marek can't cause if he fought he would fight for outworld. But deon is cool i think




Deon walks off towards a shadowy figure in the distance, as to her surprise Serenity's opponent stood up.

"Im sorry, but YOU attacked us. You have no right to ask questions. Who are you?"
