It's come quite a way since you last saw it.
I've been working on this quite a bit recently, and I think it's about ready
for another showing (the last version was v4; this one is v9).

- There are 3 selectable and fightable characters
- Each character (currently) has one hidden fatality
- Four playable stages
- Block now added
- Arcade and Training Modes
If there's one thing I've found with this project it's that using flash to make a fighting game is very possible, but the odd glitch is going to appear now and then.
Graphical glitches I'm not so bothered about, but if there are any glitches that prevent you from playing, please let me know and I'll try my best to sort em!

1st things 1st,... fuckking brilliant.
2nd thing- not really a glitch but more of a slight annoyance. When the character are in the same spot and you try to attack you just kind of flail hitting notthing. That is why in real MK you couldnt stand in the exact same spot. Maybe you prefer this, to me it was a tad annoying. Since I was having to move in order for the fight to continue and the AI kind of kept sucking into my character.
Nice job never the less, keep it up. Can you hint or do you know which character are going to be playable, or is there any kind of story to this game?

Almost perfect!
That on a larger scale would be better than MK 1,2 and 3 put together.
I did however notice two glitches:
1. When playing with Sub-Zero and versing Kitana, both the player sometimes get stuck together, it however works itself after a bit of walking, so it no biggie.
2. When you kill Kitana, it says 'Finish Him' and not Her.
Either than that its GREAT! Good work as always Tim.

Yeah, I'm working on a way to fix that. It wasn't a problem in the first few versions, but it stopped you jumping over the opponent so I removed it.
Should be fixed soon
As for story, I haven't really thought about it yet. I might add one in.
No idea who's gonna be added next. I have 8 characters who I know who'll be in though - I'll add them first and then see who else makes it.

Yeah, not really too bothered about that, it's just the way its been programmed. Might fix it, we'll see

1 - That's what Ekule mentioned earlier, it works with all the characters. Its something I hadn't figured out how to fix just yet, but I'm on it!
2 - Lol, yeah haven't added the finish her text yet.

Noted, though we'll see.
Music and sound will happen but it will be a while. I wanna get the engine complete first.
As for Shang and Reptile, they are not in the first 8 that I will add, but who knows.

Just tried, sounds a little strange, he was swingin hits at me.
Probably because the AI doesn't know how to block yet
Nevertheless, AI is to be improved yet.
As for fatalities,
Kitana - D, ?, ?, D, P
Noob Saibot - F,?,F,P
Sub-Zero - ?,F,?,D,P
I've found that when the AI as Sub or Noob tries to fatality you, the game freezes so just refresh if that happens. Will be fixed in time

the game is completly outragous and is fantastic but its really pissin me off now i worked noobs fatality out but nothnig happens it just glitches and i cant figure the others AAAAAAHHHHHH someone help me lol

To stop the glitch happening wen you do a fatality you have to hold the last buttons down like with noobs fatality F,D, hold F+P so that the movie clip starts playing then dont let go until the 'click here' sign comes up otherwise the oponants head dissapears and noob just stands there ready to fight agen

Strange. Though I think I've figured out the problem. I've uploaded a new version that should fix it.
Thanks for posting it on that site as well! I hadn't even heard of it but looks pretty cool. I'll go over there and register. Some really interesting points already and some combos I'd never even began to think of.

Eeehm. I've figured out why the glitch happens (I think it's when you release the down key, theres some code on a keyUp event which resets the character, so I've stopped that), so what you're doing would effectively fix the problem, but it's a strange way of doing it, lol.
I've uploaded a new version where I think the problem has been fixed. I've had no problems with it so far.
I've also fixed the A.I. doing fatalities, so they shouldn't have any problems doing them either now.

Once again, hopefully the fatality glitch is fixed - currently working on fixing the issue of one character on top of another - and fixing the sub infinite found over at ultimateMK.
