It lacks pretty much very thing a "good sig" should have.

Which is:

-Nice colors
-Depth
-Concept
-Lighting
-Being clean (yours is very messy and random)
-Good text (If text is in it at all)

I'd try some smudging tutorials if I were you since I noticed you like to smudge. Even though You'll probably have a hard time finding any good GIMP tutorials (If you still use GIMP). Try Deviantart it has some very good tutorials for pretty much any art program.

As you can see its the same style as the Donkey Kong sig. This is the type of style I've been looking for a while now. Sorry on the bag text but it looked so empty without it and I wasn't in a real text mood.

^ Now that looks much better. Pretty good but just a little chaotic as well. Get rid of the green lighting and it'll look a lot better.

Man...I miss my Photoshop so bad.....I havent made a sig in SOOOOOOOO long but i see everybody is getting really good and that is nice to see. Rather then seeing a bunch of crappy sigs like before awhile back lol

The blue version of the Halo one is the best out of all 3 of the sigs you've made recently. It maybe a little plain but pretty o.k. You should go back to your old style.

@MINION-

I like how it's "glowy" but for some reason it doesn't have that "wow factor" to catch peoples eyes.

@XTACTICS-

Nice to see you post something. Haven't seen you post anything in awhile. Anyway, I like the colors but thats about it. Don't really like the wave tool effects.

@ DevilJin Thanks amigo appreciate the honesty. Now here's my honest opinions. I'm Not liking your new currents / STYLE at all. I'm seeing alot of people doing Jago's style as of late. And your over all style needs more WOW. IMO, Don't take this the wrong way, ok? but your current sig style is all Trend. Meaning your using others style, but in a way not suited for good taste. I'd suggest going back to the drawing board and finding a new style best suited for you bro. That upholds more originality, instead of some Gradients over visor helmets, or some smudged render with some lighting and a sprite. I could do that stuff with my eyes closed lol.

The key to it all is finding what some one's doing and doing it better with a new concept. I don't want bad blood between us, but understand your not a GOOD artist until you've done big things. I been doing this since 04 and have started some pretty good trends in my day. I would suggest you start doing the same if you wanna lend advice that will further improve some one.

This isn't meant to attack you in anyway. Just giving you the same advice i once got in my early stages of being a graphical designer.

I'm not gonna take that as an attack or insult at all. I know I'm not good yet because I've only been using PS since like April and been making sigs since mid last year.

While I was on GSA one say I realized that I wasn't improving, and I sat down and just started thinking and writing some ideas for sigs and I think they're unique. I'll PM you some of the ideas I've been coming up with.

The only reason why I don't like it is because it looks like all you did was add a render and BG, put some soft light effects on it (which I think is useless), and added some random dots. looked like a 2 layer job. Don't take non of what I just said personal but that's how I feel it looks. Well I can't be too disappointed because I know you just started making sigs and all, but You didn't use any of the advise I gave you from a few pages though. Or it might be because you haven't been practicing I don't know.

I said it was a very basic sig.I wasn't trying to go for anything special.I remember the advice you gave me,but I wanted something quick/simple.It was only 2 layers,but I understand that it's not my best.
