I took me 2 days to make this game, I hope you guys like it.
I'm pretty happy with it.
There is a secret character in there you can play as.
I'm thinking of making more levels of difficulty, maybe later though.

Awsome game bleed. I got to be ermac one time but I dont know how lol. I read something about circles but since i have been TRYING to do it I cant get him to come back out. Only that one time by accident.

Very nice, Bleed. How about doing one of MKII?

HEY! That's was pretty cool!
Don't think you needed to use that Darth Vader breathing sound. The stage looked sweet. It would be great to see what else you can do with Test Your Might. Great job doode!!

In the controls section it tells you how to play as Ermac.
The trick is to keep making circles with the mouse around that lower right corner.
He will show up a lot of times if you do it right.
How I did it was that I made an invisible box, about the size of scorpion's head.
That box goes in circles around the screen.
Whenever your mouse goes over that invisible box, Ermac will pop out.
But you have to be real quick and click on him, to be able to use him.
-------------------------------
Another trick is if you click on the dragon logo in the title screen, and after the credits, you will hear the dragon roar.
-------------------------------
Now that you point out the breathing sound, I'll go ahead and fix it.
Maybe I'll just take it out.

Great game, Bleed. It was surprisingly addictive. I thought your little Easter eggs ("playable" Ermac and the Darth Vader sound clip) were fun. My only suggestion would be to alter the control scheme. Maybe change it to having to rapidly tap a certain key, but that's only if you plan on adding additional difficulty levels. Good job, man.

Holy shnikes!!! That is excellent man, thanks a lot!

I took out the breathing sound.
I works better without it.
About the difficulty.
I don't know how to make the fast button tap work.
My programing knowledge is limited to the basics.
The only way I can think of making it harder is to make the success part of the meter smaller.
It works pretty good like that IMO. I had the success area smaller before, and I was having a hard time cracking those boards.

OK I gave it a big update.
Now it has 3 levels of difficulty
Round announcement screens
More sounds and voices
Endings, nothing too fancy, but still nice to have.
And I made Ermac easier to select.
You need to read the clue in the controls section.

I think you put too many chances to select Ermac in the game. The first time, I just learned to anticipate when he was going to show up and Like Emeril says BAM!!, I got Ermac!
The updates are cool and the vids at the end are a nice touch. Stone and metal should be the next objectives to break.
Great work!

I like the new levels you put in. If you wanted to you should add like stone and coal. I like all the new sounds you added plus now not only is there an ending, there are 2 endings
Great job Bleed.

Damn, great job, I like it. I got to use Ermac.
Ranking? 5/5 Dragon Points..... if it were possible.

I'll try and add the extra stuff when I get a chance.
I'll make Ermac harder to select too.
I can overlay round numbers, but then I have to get rid of 1 sound effect.
I can only have 2 sound effects work at the same time.
I could get rid of when he says Test your might, and just have it once when you first start the game.
Hmmmmm But I like the cut scenes with the numbers too. I like it better with the cut scene. If enough people say to take it out, then I'll do it.

Personally I like the cut scenes too.
I love hearing "You Suck" in Round 2 when you dont break it.

The background in the round number cut scenes is a nasty looking rib cage from a meat factory or something.
Then I put a skeleton on top of that, kind of blended them together.
It's hard to tell what it is though.
---------------------------------------
About the comments when you hit the boards, I'm going to make it random, so he doesn't say the same thing over and over.
I just need to figure out how to do it.

Thats awesome! Im glad sum1 finnly made a test ur might game, iv been trying forever but i could never find the right look. Im makin a test ur sight right now. Anyways that was awesome! U have nice programing skills.

I don't know that much programming, but the little I know I put to good use.
Like all the codes I used were
------------------------------------------
on exit frame me
go to the frame
end
(this makes the movie stay on one frame, like the title screen where it just stays there, and after you break the boards, it just stays there.)
--------------------------------------
on exit frame me
go "marker name"
end
or
on mousedown me
go "marker name"
end
You can make markers like "a", "b", "title", "scorpion-ending" then you can tell the movie where to go.
--------------------------------------
on mousedown me
puppetSound 3, member "roar"
end
This plays a sound file "roar", it can be any sound you just change the name of the one you want to play. "laugh", "grunt", "you-suck"
like that.
------------------------------------------
on exitframe me
preload
end
At the beginning of the movie I put this code which makes the movie preload before playing.
------------------------------------------
So you see, the programing is pretty simple, it's just the way I combine them with the animations and how I separate every section to make it look good.
There is a script code for playing random sounds, I think it's something like
on mousedown me
puppetSound 3, member rand "you-suck, weak-fool, pathetic"
end
I have to try and figure that one out still.
If someone knows how to do that one, please let me know.

Test your sight shouldn't be too hard to make, I would have a bunch of sections with different animations, then you would go to those sections at random.
You would then have to edit some of the turn around sprites to make it look like in MKDA when they look left and right.
You could combine the test your might sprites with the heads from other moves in the game.

Great game! It's kindof addictive. The endings were better than those in MKDA, LOL!

Here is Test your sight.
I just came up with this on the spot.
I made everything from scratch except for the scorpion sprite, I just changed his head and changed the highlight on it.
Maybe I'll make it into a game too

Wow thats awesome looking. I was thinking about making like a shop in between rounds where u could buy things like a 50/50 and stuff like that. I wanna try to do eveything i can with it, i wanna try to turn a simple game like test ur sight into a real complexe game. Maybe we could try to do this together because i hate art, i just like doing the programing

0
Sure, I can help you out with the art.

That's a beautiful thing.
I missed commenting earlier but great work. The "upgrades" you added really expand on how good the original was. Like mentioned earlier, different materials is a no-brainer and see if you can rip the original sounds from MK1. They really had some feeling behind them.
Nice way to broaden your horizons.
