Going off of the unofficial mk3 site that is part of the MKO network. this is the cast of now

Production Staff
Co-Writer: Drew McWeeny (confirmed)

Starring:
Johnny Cage: Linden Ashby (confirmed)
Rayden: Christopher Lambert (confirmed)
Scorpion: Chris Casamassa (confirmed)



According to a post on IMDB a person emailed Chir Casamassa (Scorpion) and asked him about the movie and was told current plan is to start shotting around this summer. So if that is true then production should start in a few more months.

yesterday I was watching tv guide channel to see what was on and they were interviewing linden ashby and he said that after hurricane katrina the shooting has been postponed and that it should begin again around May

Well hurricane season is during summer and early fall. Hope to God no more hurricanes...or OTHER delays.

yo i heard that they was going to start back shootting in may i also heard that micheal jackson was going to play as the role of a new giant monkey enemy called "plastic surgery gone bad tring to look like white and now he looks like his pet monkey" fo'reel

Yes he did, but in the games, he came back, because earth's warriors needed help, and Rayden snatched his soul from the Pergatory. So, we can expect Johnny's return in the movie. Christ, I hope they don't fuck this up.

Did y'all know Trish Stratus is playing Sonya is this film?

about devastation, i e-mailed chris cassamassa who played scorpion in the first movie and he replied telling me that they were going to film mk3 and he was going to be scorpion again
