How can there be release info on a movie that hasnt started filming or preproduction for that matter.Dont expect it this year or next.And if it doesnt come out by next year dont expect it ever to.Everything is all rumors until proven otherwise.Just like in games,if it isnt offical then take it has you may.

Mortal Kombat: Devastation is the third installment in the movie franchise based on the Mortal Kombat fighting game series. Filming began in May 2005, and the movie itself is set to be released in 2006.

You can't take anything from Wikipedia seriously. I could go and add it's set in the future with giant aliens if I wanted to.. There's no official info at all..

But most of the info they put on is true. Normally they get it off other websites. It's just information, you could put in a search for girant aliens and info on it would come up, but it will only be from other people's opinions, facts, myths and such.

That's basicly all the decent websites with movie info. All I can say is, is that it looks promising for the movie to be out later this year (Fall of Summer to Early Winter), It would be a great oppitunity to do it early October, Just in time when Mortal Kombat: Armaggedon comes out.

There is a pattern when releasing a movie based off of a video game. When the first MORTAL KOMBAT movie came out, it was based on the success of Mortal Kombat 3. When Annihilation came out, it was based on the success of Mortal Kombat Mythologies. My guess is they'll wait until after Mortal Kombat: Armageddon to be released, and see how much that sells (which should be alot concidering the price is only 40 Bones), and then they'll release the long awaited Mortal Kombat: Devastation. They shouldn't call it Devastation if it's a PG-13 movie.

Isnt he dark skinned of he is wow thats gonna take alot of makup to make him look like Quan chi!

It's funny that Adoni Maropis is set to reprise his role as Quan Chi, since just a few months ago he said he had no idea MK3 was being set up. I guess nowadays they cast actors without them knowing it.
