well, if Nightwolf hadn't said "this is animality. Cool, huh?" then he might have been ok. He didn't look as awful as in the game...

as little as I remember, Shinnok was ok.
oh, and I never before thought of it... Liu going to save Kitana (from Kahn this time) was supposedly how he went on a failed rescue attempt before MK4, like it said in his bio (I think). hmm... well, you can't blame TTC. You can blame some certain TTC people, but not the whole company. They also did MKC, for one. I'd more blame NLC's people, if I knew who exactly. I know they stopped Josh Wex from doing a directors' cut.

after you watch it so many times it kind of gets good. LOL the ninja costumes were bad. the power rangers could easily kick their ass,(HEHE). The fight seen were ok, it would have been better if Sheeva was in the ambush with Jade and Sindel. except for the Kitana and Sindel fight. really the only good fight came from, dare I say it:
1: Robin Shou vs Irina Pataneva (Liu vs Jade)
2: Sonya and Jax vs. Cyrax (Hess,Redd vs ??)
3: Sonya vs Mileena (Sandra Hess vs Dana Hee)
my top 3 fights. Huge pops for Dana and Sandra, they put on a good show for me. Irina and Robin also put in some awesome effort. Good Job.

20. The costumes were like something out of a halloween store!
21. Was there any purpose of jade having glitter on her face after revealing herself to be evil?!

hmm? I remember liking Smome/Liu fight, as well as somewhat Jax/Cyrax one.

I liked the movie but they messed up on many parts, here are my takes:

1.MILLENIA-only a small part and her name wasn't even mentioned. She was Kitana's clone and could off played a bigger role, inexcusable.

2.JAMES REMAR-people say he didn't play the role well. I thought he did okay till he cut his hair and saw him do cartwheels in the fight w/Reptiles.

3.BARAKA-what a complete waste of a character. From what I know their was only 1 of him and he and Millenia could of been together instead we get 3 crappy mutants that are killed too easy.

4.Why was Sheeva killed that fast? Couldn't they had her in a fight w/Cage or something?

5.Johnny Cage was to die why so damn early? Could of waited till his and Sonya's relationship "blossomed" more and then have Cage try and protect her and then have Kahn kill him.

6.SHAO KAHN-who the hell was this? Brian Thompson. They just about killed this character. The costume was weak and he didn't fit the part of Shao Kahn at all. Could of had a more powerful, stronger and more intimating person. The costume sucked and should of looked more like the one from MKII/MK3.

7.The whole Shao Kahn-Rayden brother crap. This was just stupid and it didn't even matter.

8.The man who played Shinnok also didn't fit the part of at all.

9.Scorpion and Sub Zero should of been in the movie more. When the hell did Scorpion ever join forces w/Kahn? Wasn't he neutral and only out to get his revenge? Once again the people behind this didn't know diddly squat!

10.Nightwolf was cool and should of been played more of a role. The whole animality was something they didn't need to add to this movie. At least Nightwolf's wolf looked real.

11.Jade-wrong women for this part.

There is more but I don't want to write more. I do hope that Lambert returns as Rayden and has a new look w/him.

well, taken that way, Sheeva did fight a cage...

I luved that rant, but take note, it was not the threshold's fault. New Line Cinema PURPOSELY made the movie look like power rangers, because they were ''in'' the time the movie was out. Ok, sure, there's the remar thing... and...all...the...other crap... but... oh well.

on another good side, music was awesome

Yeah, I like the Liu/Smoke fight. Well, except when Smoke fired Sektor's missles (tho they exploded quite nicely).

The funny thing bout the James Remar fightin is that Ray Park (Darth Maul from SW: Episode 1 and toad from the X-Men movie) was his double and through some editing they made it look like James Remar could fight....lol

Wasn't there a thing on Sektor stealing Smoke's costume? If there was i really hope that was sektor because i want more of smoke. He's a bad ass.

Rain was in it for like 30 seconds, i wanted to see him fight. But Shoa Kahn had to knock him into the fire pit, which brings me to another thing. When liu Kang knock Baraka into the fire pit, that was Rain falling.

Motaro, he wasn't bad looking but where in the hell is Kintaro? Scorpion was ok, his mask was cool but the costume was cheasy. Thing only thing i really hated about scorpion was that he got his ass kicked by sub-zero. Plus Scorpion was too skinny, and the two spears, what is with that.

Holy crap, that was hilarious!!!!
Though I liked the movie, it seems Threshold only knows everything about MK1, and knows only that MK3 was about Kahn's invasion of earth and they only knew the character's names and looks because Rain didn't use lightning and Ermac didn't do anything special except make a cheap looking Noob Saibot. I mean, the only thing movie and game Noob had in common was their outfits. The movie Noob didn't even have those unusual eyes! I almost didn't recognize him as Noob!
