well i donno much about kitaro but the one time i saw him he looked just like goro. lol. confusing.

I'd like to see this fight, I think it'd be badass. I think Goro would win though, as he's stronger.

Only problem is that Goro died in MK1. Well we didn't see him die, but he fell off the mountain, so he should be dead...

well they could have the fight back in kung lao's time when goro was still alive and the undefeated champion

i distincly remeber hearing that kintaro was father to goro and that kintaro was king of the shokan race and thats why goro was called prince goro so i dont know why they would fight unless goro fought him to be king but that wouldnt work out

Dunno where you heard that, but the King of the Shokan is Gorbak. He is Goro's dad. Kintaro was just made a general by Kahn after they thought Goro was dead (after MK1.)

IDK bout that idea...it sounds kind of unpredictable since it doesnt go with the MK story.

If Goro died in MK1, then who the heck died in Kitana's ending in MKDA?

The story line of the movie and the games don't exactly match up.

Apparently he died in the movie, but I believe he was just defeated in the game until MK:DA

they already had that fight, and Quan Chi was winning until Shang Tsung created a portal and ran. It was in MK Konquest

He "died" in MK1 but ended up being that he did not die, he was teleported with Sonya and Kano to outworld or something along those lines...
Then he reappeard in MK4 and made peace with Kitana and Kung Lao
Then he is killed in MK:DA/TE by Noob Saibot....

ahhhh it would be cool had Goro not died in the first mk film.Let it go ok leave them dead.This isnt some horror movies where ppl never die.Like Scropion should have stayed dead after he was defeated in the first mk film.Cause i didnt like how they didnt explane how he was able to come back or ever why for that matter.

If they can bring back Cage, who was clearly killed, why couldn't they bring back Goro, who we never saw die?

I wouldn't mind seeing that fight between Goro and his brother (can't remember his name) from that animated video MK: the journey begins. Goro and his brother battle it out in front of their father, the victor becoming heir to the throne. Kintaro is just a General, but I reckon he looks way tougher than Goro.

In the comic books it went that Gorbak was the King and Goro was his son. Kintaro was Goro's bodyguard I think (although why he would need one I don't know). When Goro disappeared Gorbak got Shao Khan to send Kintaro to find Goro in Earth Realm. That was the story line in the comic at least, dunno if it has any relevance here.

I thought that it was Kintaro who was enraged at the supposed death of Goro. Gorbak and Kintaro went to Shao Kahn and pleaded that Shang Tsung be given to the Shokan for execution. Shang Tsung then talked with Shao Kahn and he lived. I think Kintaro entered the second Mortal Kombat for revenge on Goro's death and he wanted to crush all of the mortals for the Shokan's loss. However, I heard Kintaro was turned into a crispy critter at the hands of Raiden.
